A pair of black clothed masked sentries appeared on either side of the door. Standing a good five meters from it on either side as the door itself warped and twisted apart, shifting into countless pieces before fading into a much larger doorway as the floor reformed smooth as tile of black obsidian. Vitas stepped into the room. She did not look happy either. The walls turned black, like glass, lines of pale light streamed data across them, fast and flowing, random bits of information flowed through the walls, on the walls, in the floor, the ceiling, even the desk. Vitas sometimes loved the Digital Realm way too much
And for good reason. She had taken the job on condition that no outside interference woulds hinder her, or attempt to control her, otherwise she'd go to the board. The man had agreed, and only one thing was signed over to her, the deed to the place so to speak.
But here was a woman, so green behind the ears that it made Vitas sick to her stomach just thinking of being summoned to her own office by the other woman. And then she had the audacity to mention vampires. The woman with Vitas, dressed in lavender purple and deep sea green, with a pair of beautiful black and red wings upon her back raised an eyebrow at mention of a certain Detente representative. Vitas raised a hand, "Miss, Warmoon, not ms" She corrected before waving off the threat of not being able to hide. "Your father agreed to my terms, no outside interference, no overt control of any sources of LogicRoad and yet... here you are. I made myself quite clear to the Board." Vitas walked on the obsidian tile floor, it shifted to glass, lines of white light made grid marks in the floor as she walked.
"I work with who I want, how I want, when I want. I made myself clear in that regard to the board and I will speak to them about this." Vitas said, she smirked, think of harming her, nah, she didn't have to think about it, she just... tended to let her magic have fun when the time arrived, no thinking required.
A hand raised, the paperwork flew from the desk and quickly turned into glass sheets as Vitas viewed them. "I will read this before signing, you understand I am smarter than you think me to be" Obviously this woman hadn't read her true file, her true deeds. Or visited the Zoo. "But I have good news for you. You are correct, this location can reopen. Granted some areas will need reconstruction work done. But I will worry of that myself. Now, I do believe you are here to inspect possible building sites for the factory ?"
Vitas needed a way, a means to keep Peyton busy and out of her hair. The whole idea of treating a vampire representative. What she didn't know wouldn't hurt her it seemed. Vitas herself never spoke with such people or creatures, Spike actively hunted them. So Vitas had two tough jobs to deal with. Sure she herself could turn a vampire back to human using her magic, rid them of the undead lust within. But she never trusted vampires.
But the main issue concerning the vampires angle, Vitas knew, was going to be Spike. The Winged Supermodel hated vampires with a passion and went out of her way to ensure they were naught but ash. So it was going to be an interesting turn of events. But Spike knew how to hunt vampires unseen. And Spike always started with their familiars and thralls. Which then made it possible that the detente rep coming for a visit was simply that, either a Familiar or a Thrall. and it was possible it was a Familiar as those of that rank in ties with vampires had greater access than simple thralls.
But then again, Peyton said a Detente Official was paying a visit. That meant more than just a Thrall, it meant either a high ranking Familiar, Or a low ranking Vampire
