Personality

Efficient. That is the word that describes Phasma the best. He does his job and that's about it. At first glance, one might call him cruel, perhaps cold, but that simply means he's watching and paying attention. Keeping an eye on things, if you would. He's calm and quite easy to talk to, unless you get nervous about seeing a man who carries a scythe on his back. He opens up after a few minutes, but if he feels like it, he will be just as cold as he is normally for quite some time. He's really a nice person, but enjoys playing with those of weaker minds than his.

Falx- His normal scythe. Although it appears normal, it actually has three separate forms it flickers between. In this form, Falx is just like any other steel-bladed scythe. It has a simple enchantment; one to keep it from corroding or breaking.

Capulus- The second form of his weapon. It has all the same properties as Falx, along with being able to harm the undead and spirits as well as beings that still live. It has a special ability, called "Entomb", where the blade vanishes from sight as Phasma swings. If the target he strikes is living, it becomes exhausted, as if it had hiked over rough, mountainous terrain for a whole day. If a single target is "Entombed" several times, their soul is sucked into the blade of Capulus, rendering the person a slave to the scythe until Phasma decides to free them. Souls can only be freed from Falx's third form. If the blade would strike a target that is inanimate, it will simply pass through when using "Entomb".

Fornax- The third and final form of Phasma's scythe. The blade retains all abilities of the previous two forms plus a few. It is enchanted with the element of fire and instead of being able to "Entomb" it has it's own special. Fornax's special power is called "Soul's Fire", which releases all souls trapped within the blade in an explosion of fire energy that harms anyone it's wielder views as an enemy. As long as someone is not viewed as an enemy, "Soul's Fire" will not harm them at all.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla entered Gambit's for the first, and certainly not the last, time. The scythe across his back swayed ever so slightly as he walked through the door. He looked around, wondering what new people he could observe here. He walked up to the bar, took his scythe, Falx, off his back, and sat on the stool nearest him. He tapped on the bar calmly to get the bartender's attention, that he might order a drink.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla nodded, not saying a word. He would speak if necessary, that was true, but it would be up to him to determine when 'necessary' was. He sipped his sake, relishing the smooth, soft burning taste as it coated his tongue.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla chuckled softly, not forcing the man from his mind. He didn't mind others entering his mind, mostly because the man who he'd taken Flax from had trained him to lock his thoughts as needed. He slowly shook his head in response to the man's question. He sipped the sake again and then poured the rest of the rice wine into his cup.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla smiled, took a longer draw at his drink, then looked the man straight in the eye. "I'm not shy. I just like to watch, that's all." With that, he tipped his cup back into his mouth, finishing off the rest of his drink.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla smiled and turned to face the room. He grasped Falx, but only held it in his hands. He didn't intend on using it anytime soon. Not unless he had to anyway. He leaned back against the counter as he watched, content with simply paying atention.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla had begun to look away, no longer interested in what was going on. He turned his head back to her at the word murder. He tightened his grip on Falx, feeling it thrum with the various energies trapped within.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla stood and lifted Falx with ease, quelling the raging energies within. "Not today, my friend. Not today." He looked at the three he'd been watching then turned to the door and strode to it. He put his hand against the wood before pushing and exiting the bar as calmly as he'd come.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla crossed the threshold of the bar quietly. He looked around, mostly to figure out what sort of "people" were there at the moment. Seeing nobody of immediate interest to watch, he continued his forward motion to the bar, hoping to find a bartender to order honeyed wine from.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla set his scythe beside him and turned to face the rest of the bar, leaning against the wooden counter. He noted the entrance of Ishtar in particular. He wished he had a drink but didn't mind either way.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla nodded slightly, not wishing to convey any sort of meaning other than a simple greeting. If it became more, so be it. However, as things were at the time, he was plenty content to simply watch those around him. The fight he paid little attention too, though he kept enough of hi mind on it to keep himself from being hurt.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla continued to watch the angelic-looking figure, now that she had moved closer. He wrapped a hand around Falx, just in case she was hostile, despite him not having done anything obvious to offend her.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla pulled the scythe closer to him. "It's not because of that. This scythe is more valuable than most peoples lives, if only because I say so. However, I understand your wish to talk, and thus I shall agree to causing no intentional harm." He strapped Falx to his back and rested against the counter, watching her.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla shook her hand, gripping enough to be firm, but not too much to cause pain. "Phasma. Or at least that's what people are to know me as." He returned to his resting position. He may not be as hungry to talk as she was, but it wouldn't do for him to seem too cold. "Where are you from Miss Ishtar, if I may call you that?"

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla entered the bar without event. He was content to be noticed if it should happen, and not noticed, should no one sense him. He was the kind of person who would just as likely kill you with Falx, the scythe strapped to his back, as he would talk to you. He was preferential to observing, and passed most of his time simply watching the goings on of those around him. He seated himself at the bar, atop one of the simple stools before it. Without ordering, or even caring to order at all, he turned and began to watch those in the bar aside from him. Perhaps he would meet someone new, perhaps not. It didn't matter much to him.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla watched the woman with the bow, an elven woman perhaps, as she began to fire arrows at one of the other patrons. He kept his face blank, appearing almost disinterested at a glance. If one sat and watched him as he watched others, however, they might see a rare flicker of twisted appreciation of the woman's command and force. She was an interesting being, and the bow she wielded was marvelous to behold, even from the distance at which he sat. He put a hand on the shaft of his scythe, Falx, and chuckled softly.

Phasma, reaper of Veldalla smiled and thanked the bartender. before pouring out an amount of the wine that would be unthinkable in a traditional Japanese setting. Although he wasn't Asian, or even from this plane of material, he did enjoy having a drink now and then. Luckily for him, he'd been cast to this world just after his twenty-first birthday, so he was able to sample various alcohols until he found what he liked.
