So begins...
Quill's Story
'Well i, i recently got a new job...For TerraCast as a journalist. I saw you in Gambits on your own, you know, looking as young as you do and thought i might have hit a story. Upon getting to know you however that drifted further back into my mind.' She looked at her hands in slight shame. 'It seems we connected somehow.' she explained.
Valorie tilted her head at this in a somewhat curious manner. "Oh..!" she exclaimed, arms still wrapped around Quill in a somewhat dependent manner. Quill may have noticed that combined with her being short and child-like in stature she was rather light-weight, under a hundred pounds for sure. It said something about her eating habits. "I-..um... Thanks. For protecting me... and listening." she said, perhaps unaware that it had not quite been Quill that had scared the woman off.
Quill took a moment to think before noticing the gaunt face of the girl. 'Shall we head back to the bar? get you something to eat? I may get an opportunity to talk to the woman.' Quill offered hoping Valorie still required nourishment in her... state. 'I dont want to do anything that might make you uncomfortable, but you look hungry.'
Valorie considered this for a moment before nodding eagerly. "Alright..." she said. That sounded great--Though, she hoped Quill wound understand when the inevitable conversation came up about vegetarianism. "Don't worry--I'm just glad I met you." she said enthusiastically. She seemed more cheery now.
Quill smiled brightly then once more offered her hand out to the girl before walking back in the direction of the bar. 'Me too,' Quill replied, becoming cheerier with the lighter atmosphere.
Valorie took Quill's hand eagerly and followed her~ Cue the two actually making their way to the bar. It was, at least for now, a new friendship with a solid base.
The setting changes from Wing City Gardens (North) to Gambit's Bar
Quill opens the door to gambits with a smile plastered from cheek to cheek. She takes note of the Television and decides its nothing worth her attention so instead looks around the bar to study the faces of the patrons for people she may recognise.
Valorie Ryder walked into the bar hand in hand with Quill, glancing around at least mildly nervously as if expecting something to jump out at her. If one didn't know any better, and if they didn't question the fact that Valorie really didn't look like her, they might be prone to assuming the small girl was Quill's own.
Alexandria Symes quickly ran to get her phone for she realized it was a precious gift she got from her friend..
But running towards to get her phone,her gaze fell upon Valorie..
Taking a glance towards Quill.. she looked familiar.. like she was on that new Terracast thing..

Quill smiled reassuringly at Valorie as she spotted no signs of trouble, 'What would you like to eat??' she smaid in an attempt to make Valorie feel less anxious.
Quill glanced back over to Alexandria and quickly glanced away... she was getting those looks alot more often now and she wasnt sure she liked it or not...well as long as they didnt talk to her she guessed looks couldnt hurt.
It was then quill realised , the person glancing at her was in fact the woman who she wanted to speak to. She made a mental note to make sure Valorie was happy before approaaching the woman.
Valorie glanced up at Quill quietly for a moment. If Alex met her eyes she'd find that a supernatural pleasant feeling came over her, lasting as long as she maintained eye contact. After a moment Valorie spoke up. "Um... something without meat, I guess!~" she siad with a slight note of affection.
'hmmm vegetarian huh? what about lentil pasta?' Quill asked slightly amused but keeping a cautious eye on the woman named Alexandria.
Valorie quickly nodded. She was eager to fill her belly, or at least nibble on something. It was currently attempting to demand a blood sacrifice or something. Why was she even born a herbivore leaning carnivore? Arceus is a /dick/.
Alexandria Symes was feeling the effects of the eye ability.. It would be natural for someone who was depressed to feel pleasant feeling afterwards..
But there was no reason for her to.. Alexandria was suspicious of Valorie...however the effects of the eye would no longer work cause of her Barrier Negotiation runes..
Blinking slightly she asked..

Valorie merely shrank into Quill's side at the seemingly random accusation. Why did people even get pissed when her eyes made them feel good here?
Alexandria Symes shrugged
Alexandria slightly moved backwards,to give her some space...
I'm not going to hurt you, I just feel unusual than I should be and I'm just wondering if you are causing it..

Valorie turned her head away rather anti-socially. "...Yeah." she admitted, completely and utterly distant. She had reasons not to talk to strangers.
