Full Name: Rebecca Adelaide Holden
Nicknames: Becca, Spark
Age: 17
Race: Mutant

Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 119lbs
Build: Slim, bordering on skinny - Rebecca doesn't eat a lot, and is a strict vegetarian when she does.
Hair Colour: Dark blonde, and just over shoulder length, falling straight downwards, usually in messy tangles unless she has a particular reason to fix it, to the small of her back.
Eye Colour: Hazel, with a hint of olive.
Attire: Rebecca is seldom seen out and about without her characteristic yellow mackintosh, highly practical but just as much not stylish. Underneath this vibrant yellow beast she normally wears long sleeved tops, jeans, and trainers - really just normal wear for a less-than fashion conscious teen of her age. Other than this, a small necklace with no significant meaning is the only accessory she wears, and is often a source of comfort and footing, holding it and fiddling with it often a sign that she is uncomfortable or nervous.

Personality: Stubborn and fiery, Rebecca is absolutely dedicated to every word that leaves her leader's lips, and zealous in her carrying out of his whim. The focus of their group is usually around either the environment, or other similar morally clear areas, against power plants, trawlers, or other such damaging structures or businesses. With such a relatively short fuse when it comes to these beliefs, Rebecca is surprisingly patient when it comes to other matters, and is quite sociable around other people who either share her beliefs, or do not directly oppose them. While easily angered, Rebecca knows when she is outmatched, and won't start a fight she thinks she can't win.

Abilities and Equipment: At any one time, Rebecca is likely to be carrying:
  • A 9mm pistol
  • A combat ready knife
  • Enough explosives to 'blow the bloody doors off'
  • Two hand grenades
  • A remote detonator that can be easily wired up to the aforementioned explosives
  • Wire cutters
  • A small toolkit

A mutant, Rebecca also has abilities inherent in her body, beyond her experience with explosives, electrics, and mechanics - these abilities are centred around fire, pyrokinesis, whatever you want to call it. The generation, manipulation and release of copious amounts of the hot stuff - alongside an immunity to its effects.

History: Rebecca came under the wing of Dannyl Jeanson at the age of fifteen, charmed by the silver tongue of the young man and his seductive persuasions. This was not, as one might suspect, the lead-on to paedophilia, but was in fact him enticing her to join the activist and terrorist group, Silverite. While Dannyl himself was not a member, his 'boss' had instructed him that the group's work was beneficial to him and his clients, and that he was to coerce and aid any promising candidates for joining the organisation that he encountered in his day to day life. Rebecca met Jeanson on a walk home from school, sent home for losing control of her powers in a fit of rage against another pupil, and coming dangerously close to burning them alive. Dannyl washed away her concerns with his words, intrigued by her abilities and her strong views - which he soon extracted - and gently nudged her toward Silverite. After joining, Rebecca proved herself an able agent, using her youth and looks to get places where the elder and more grizzled veterans might be turned away, and to the present day carries out the orders of the group - they come infrequently, but when they ask for her, the job tends to be big, and explosive. Good thing that big explosions are Becca's speciality.

So begins...

Rebecca Holden pushed open the door of the bar, and hurried inside out of the pouring rain that cascaded downwards from the sky outside. Droplets of water ran down her bright yellow mackintosh as she pulled down her hood with a sigh of relief, letting her long blonde hair out, the majority of which had been kept dry. The girl made her way toward the bar counter, casting a wary glance about the bar to survey its occupants before taking a seat. She unhitched her bag and laid it on the floor next to the stool before removing the coat and laying it to one side with the bag to dry.

The girl's hazel eyes darted upwards, searching out a bartender. "Um, could I get a drink, please? A cup of tea?"

Rebecca Holden smiled to Darius appreciatively, pleasantly surprised at the man's show of care. "Thank you, that's very kind." she said, taking the towel and drying her face off, the water up until this point having dripped unnoticed from the tip of her nose. She then set about dabbing at the few wet patches on the rest of her clothes, and the futile task of trying to dry her hair. While doing this, however, she continued to speak.

"It is, I chose a bad day to be out of the..." Rebecca paused on the edge of saying 'hideout', mentally chiding herself before quickly continuing with "...house, it caught me unawares when I was only halfway. I'm just glad I always bring my coat along." she said, laughing, not out of amusement, but in the humourless way that one does when one has run out of things to say.

Rebecca Holden glanced from side to side suspiciously as she entered the area of Gambit's Bar - where it had previously stood. Unlike many of the patrons, Rebecca was not shocked, or afraid. She was used to seeing scenes like this, buildings a hollow, burned out shell of their former shells. Due to the work being done on it, it looked a damn sight better than what she was used to.

The girl was clad in her characteristic yellow coat, wrapped tightly around her form to preserve her from the chilling evening breeze.

Of course, the fact that it also served to conceal her various armaments was purely cooincidental...

Rebecca Holden glanced towards Ivan, as the man crashed to the ground through nearby foliage. The girl smirked, folding her arms and chuckling. "Nice job, Gabriel." she commented from her position near the (would be) door of Gambit's, brushing a strand of hair away from her face.

"Is your next trick to successfully drop the tree on your head, or..?"

Rebecca Holden laughed wryly, "Two quid says you fall over your own feet before you get halfway." she commented, walking after the 'angel'. "And I think the archangels would have to try pretty hard to give the Catholic Church any worse press than it's got at the moment. What's the latest thing? Child molesting?"

Rebecca shook her head "Not that I suppose the penalisation of an entire religion because of the actions of individuals, these bodies as a whole have to be seen as corrupt before any such action should be taken - and media penalisation isn't ever the answer. Drastic and direct action is far more effective, and less demonising of entire ethnicm, political or religious groups, or etcetera."

Rebecca Holden took a seat beside Ivan, still smirking. "Course not - Ivan, was it?" she said, "I'm Rebecca, but my friends call me Spark." she added, extending a hand to shake. "You can call me Rebecca, or Becca for now, though." she pointed out, making it clear that despite her friendly demeanour she was still cautious.

The girl waved her hand for a bartender of some description, and ordered a glass of Coke. "Come here often, bird boy?"

Rebecca Holden shook her head "Second time. Last time it was 'cause it was pissing down with rain and I there was nowhere else to take cover. I came back today 'cause the service was blummin' brilliant. Got me a warm towel and everythin'. Though the guy who was servin' then ain't here, more's the pity. Guess he must've buggered off when this place went to hell. Still got no clue how that happened. Just saw it on the news at one point, no explanation."

Rebecca shrugged "And I don't think you're any angel, 'least not by traditional definition, am I right? You said it yourself, you ain't no Gabriel. What's that halo, then? Some neon accessory you got from Claire's?"

Rebecca Holden pushed open the door of the bar, yawning to herself as she walked inside. Her boots crunched in broken glass and various items of debris as she went, the youth barely noticing them. She was used to scenes like this, buildings a hollow shell of their former selves, fire damage, or just blown to hell. Of course, the bar was in better shape than most of the places she visited - at least after she left. She had an attachment to this particular establishment, after one of the tenders showed kindness above and beyond what she had learned to expect from the human race.

Of course, she hadn't seen him around since then, but it was enough to make her like the place. The girl hopped up onto one of the bar stools, and ordered a coke.

Rebecca Holden drummed her fingers idly on the counter as she waited for her drink to arrive, casting a wary gaze about the bar. Nobody looked too governmenty, though one woman, exchanging words with a quite handsome fellow in a trenchcoat, seemed a tad too professional looking for her liking. She gazed at the blonde woman for only a moment before returning her attention to the arriving drink, which she took with a murmur of thanks.

Rebecca Holden already had a drink, but decided to pretend that hadn't happened to prevent embarassment. "Just a coke, please." she said simply.

Rebecca Holden shook her head "That'll be all. Thanks." she murmured, taking out a small device that looked somewhat similar to a blackberry, but wasn't. It was more specialised, focused around receiving messages from one source, her contact within Silverite. The thing was still silent. No news, then.
