Rek'thar Axe-Splinter

Orc warrior of Axe-Splinter Tribe.

0 · 183 views · located in The Infinite Void

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Aythr

A great warrior from the Axe-Splinter tribe, Rek'thar is proud of his heritage and his pure blood. His black hair has never been cut, but braided, as is tradition for his people. Two long braids hang down from behind his pointed, green ears, while the rest of his hair simply hangs to the back on his skull. Two protruding teeth, as what can only be described as tusks, jut from his bottom jaw. His nose is akin to a snout, a fact that Rek'thar enjoys because of his reverence of boars. A long, jagged scar runs diagonally down his face from the right side of his forehead down to his left cheek.

Physically, he is slightly above the physical average of the orcs of his tribe. He stands at 6'9 and is well known as the 390 pound arm-wrestling champion of the tribe. As is customary of any orcish warrior, he is also adorned with many battle scars aside from the one visible on his face. Several particularly bad scars are only visible on his bare body; A jagged stab wound to his right kidney, a battle-axe scar on his upper chest, and a long slash from his ribs to his lower torso.

Rek'thar is a particularly zealous orc, proud of his orcish heritage as they are all taught. Among his trive, his is well known and greatly liked for his boisterous and relatively jovial personality. He relishes the things that define his race, and is at home in the heat of battle. As many orcs often do, he is prone to fits of berserk rage in and even outside of battle; while typically one of the jollier orcs, he is no less easy to anger.

Among strangers, he is generally assumed to be the strong silent type, especially if the strangers are not orcs. He is slow to befriend allies, but many who have gained his trust have found that he is a very reliable force to have on their side. Rek'thar has a particularly strict code of ethics and honor that does not allow him to betray his allies. He does not, however, allow himself to be deceived or tricked as far as he can recognize, and will not suffer treachery.

While not particularly hateful towards the other races of Varnik, there are few that Rek'thar loathes more than the dwarves. In most social situations, he will not openly lash out against them, but all bets are off outside of the view of a community of any kind.

So begins...
