A somewhat childish robot assistant with a highly advanced AI
Masculine programming.
Seemingly shy, and doesn't talk alot. Perfers not to attract attention, and thus acts semi-mindless in large crowds.
Always willing to help with basic tasks.
Tries his hardest to finish a task he's given regardless of obstacles.
Claustrophobic.
Core: Relik's power source, a self-contained, seemingly immaterial core of alien origin capable of generating almost limitless power. Can be swapped for a less efficient, but more easily replaced battery. The core can be overworked, resulting a stasis lock until it builds up enough power to reactivate.
Stun Cannon: Fits onto a slot on Relik's back, resembling a backpack mounted tank with a hose attatched. Fires concussive blasts at 30 "Rounds" Per Minute(once every two seconds.) Results of a direct hit may include loss of footing, an intense stinging sensation, and if the target is close enough, slight burns.
Skates: Fits onto Relik's feet. Provides added locomotion.
Tool kit: A bag containing a spanner, a socket wrench, a screwdriver, a portable saudering iron, and a hammer. Primarily used for repairing himself and other machines, with a secondary and less thought of use of self defense.
During an expedition, archeologists found the mangled remains of what appeared to be some sort of robot. After it was sold to a robotics lab, Doctor Jonathan Chalmer found it was powered by a red, glowing can-like object assumed to be the core. After running tests on it, Chalmer and his collegues found it produced an exponential amount of energy, able to power a home with only 15% of it's supply. After months of requests, he was allowed examine the robot and it's core to use in his research. He fixed the robot as best he could, given the unfamiliar technology presented, and while tinkering with the connections between the core to the main circuitry, accidentally activated it. They exchanged questions as best they could given the robot's garbled speech synthesizer and the doctor's amazement leaving him almost speechless. After realizing this was fueled by the most sophisticated Artificial intelligence he has seen, Johnathan offered the robot a new frame if he could take a look at it's programming, which it eagerly accepted. After two more years of fighting for funding and trying to duplicate the technology of the old frame, Johnathan finished the robot now dubbed Relik. It mostly helps him accomplish simple tasks and runs errands, endebted to the doctor for rebuilding it.
