Renée LeBeau

"You're just like your father..."

0 · 1,566 views · located in The Infinite Void

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Faithy

Description

Cursed with a small to medium frame, Renée learned at an early age how to make up for it by creating muscle mass and toning the rest of her 5'9 body. Spiraling long raven hair drapes across both shoulders, circling around until reaching her slender waist. Peering out from behind long luscious lashes that match perfectly with her hair is a set of red orbs although she generally keeps in brown contacts to keep people from staring at her. Half of her face is covered by the long bangs that never stay brushed back away from her eyes. When she's out and about on 'business', she has a particular outfit she wears. Starting from the bottom and moving up, Renée wears a pair of red skintight boots that conceal her entire leg up to her thighs. The sides of the boots are closed together by a series of belts and buckles and they’re made so that the knee can still bend easily. Covering up her arms from the wrists to halfway up her arms is the same skintight material that her boots are made of, and like the boots, belts and buckles close the material over her arms. Finalizing the outfit is a fitting leather top that has two buckles, which close around her neck. The left side of the top is clenched together by the same things as her boots, leaving both shoulders bare. The rest of the top follows her curves down to her calves, the sides splitting at her hips for easy moving. Peeking out from where the sides split is a pair of red shorts.

http://www.madman.co.nz/wallpapers/gilg ... 8_1280.jpg<-- A piccy to help show what I mean.

Other than that, depending on her mood and the temperature, the bottom of her form is covered by a pair of dressy slacks, or shorts that are rather skimpy. The shorts show off her extremely long, slender legs. Covering up the top of her form is a range of t-shirts that are quite cute and show off her curvaceous form. Some end above her navel, while others continue until reaching the waist of her pants. Of course, she has class and would never wear anything so tight that it was more disgusting than sexy. Finishing out the outfit are two different forms of outwear. The first is a long metallic blue jacket that rests a few inches below her knees and has a collar. The second is a black hooded cloak that when properly fastened with the black buttons and loops give a shadowy appearance allowing her to hide easily. She also has a pair of wire frame sunglasses with dark red lenses to help with the illusion of being mysterious, but more so to hide her true appearance.

Personality

Like her mother, Renée strives on being able to do whatever she wishes, but she isn't reckless. She has quite a bit more sense than her mother, especially when it comes to alcohol. Despite what her parents wanted, she has become a fighter and is quite skilled with whatever weapon she happens to come across. She is also quite skilled with the abilities she received from her father. Cool and collect, she always seems to know what to do when faced with an adverse situation. She’s slightly cocky and self-assured, but only when she has experience in what she’s doing. Though she's not shy, she doesn't bother making friends with just whomever she comes across. However, once she has chosen a person as a friend, she is loyal and very protective. Any foe of her friend is a foe of her and more than once she has killed in order to preserve the life of her companion. To strangers, she’s extremely brassy and psychotic; taking pride in torturing any that stands in her way of whatever prize she happens to be seeking.

Equipment

Weaponry:

.::.Playing cards.::. Like her father, Renee has the ability to manipulate energy and uses playing cards to energize and throw at things to explode them. Also, they're fun to use for playing poker and other card games.
.::. Renée wears sheathes on her arms that house short swords or long daggers within them.
.::.She keeps a sword dubbed the Solar Morning Star, which is kept in a sheathe placed upon her back.
.::.Two B+T MP9 customized sub-machine guns are holstered at her waist. The guns have been customized to hold 4.6mm proprietary rounds in an extended 50-round clip, resulting in an increased rate of fire. As well the fore-grip usually found on the front has been removed.
.::.On her hands two specialized gloves contain a group of hidden blades that slide forward over her knuckles with the simple flick of her wrist. Both these blades are made of a hybrid alloy and are not easily broken even by the most forceful of methods.
.::.Using a combination of an old shoulder harness and a pair of nylon cases, Renée has hidden a pair of asps.

History

Once upon a time in a land not so far way, Renée was born to Tayrn and Remy LeBeau. She was taught at an early age how to take care of herself and was also taught how to use the powers she had been born with. A curiosity took her away from her family and she has been struggling to get back ever since.

**Depending on the RP, she will either be played as a teenager or a child.**

Obviously if she's a child, she wouldn't wear the outfit in the first part of her description, but would probably be seen in t-shirts and shorts/jeans. Her hair and eyes would remain the same, and she'd look the same only shorter. :P!

It had been a long time since she returned to the very place that was her stomping ground as a child. It seemed odd to walk down the same street that she once played in against her parents wishes, but it was something that had to be done if she wanted to actually get to the bar. While she was hoping that her parents were actually in the bar for once, something told her, that it wasn't likely. Still, she could at least hope. Sweeping her raven hair behind her shoulders, the eighteen year old adjusted the sunglasses on her face. The red lenses covered up her very unnatural red eyes; something she obtained from her father's side of the gene pool. Releasing a deep sigh, she shoved open the door to Gambit's and walked inside. Her blue metallic jacket covered her clothing and weapons, but still allowed her access to them if necessary.

Renée LeBeau immediately wondered if her mother had been to the bar since the vodka was completely out. Her mom was a huge alcoholic, though not as much anymore, and her choice of liquid had always been vokda or kamekaze's. Shrugging off memories of her past, that weren't necessarily pleasant, Renée moved to the bar and dug out her fake ID. Sliding it over the counter top, she yawned widely and waited to be approved. It was a perfect ID and it got her into many bars though to be frank, her pops owned this bar, and she always was allowed in regardless of her age. "Dat's alright. I don't drink dose drinks anyways."

"Pleasure's mine, Miss Maedos." At her question, the man scratched his head, musing over his response. "Ain't no story here. 'm an ex-merc..got sick of it all and quit the job. Now I'm just wanderin' around, lookin' for some things to do. Occasionally I take a few jobs."

His eyes skimmed over to the ID on the counter a seats away. "So what do you drink then, Miss Renée?" Sangrei asked casually, not turning to face the female.

Renée LeBeau snatched back her ID and shoved it back into her pocket with yet another pesky yawn. The trip back had been grueling, and she was looking forward to loosening up a smidge. Tilting her head towards the giant snowman, Renée couldn't help but wonder what happened to the last barkeep and found herself once again lost in the few memories that made their way into her mind. Hissing under her breath, she shoved the memories back, flopped down onto a stool and debated on what to drink. The food sounded good since she hadn't eaten a while, but before she could ask for the sliders, a stranger a few spots down inquired what she wanted to drink. It didn't bother her that a strange man was speaking to her. No, it was the fact that he knew her name. That was just a bit unnerving. "Dat's private business, sir. Dem sliders would be great. 'm starvin'"

Sangrei gave Cryoface a small wave. "I'll take some too as well, please. Kinda already ruined the empty stomach thing, but it wouldn't hurt to get something in there. Better late than never, as they say."

Still skirting around eye contact with the woman, he retorted lightly, "Ain't private business when you're gonna end up orderin' one for everyone to see anyway, is it? Care t'let me buy you one?" Her own accent had subconsciously brought out a bit of own, though recently it hadn't popped up very prominently.

Upon hearing the name, the swordsman mulled over the words in his head. Musing out loud, he commented, "Ain't that the name of this bar? S'posedly, it's the owner's name too, ain't it?"

"Dat's my father... haven't seen him in a long time dough. De burgers would be fine." Sighing, Renée thought about her father again, and couldn't help but wish he was around so she could actually spend some time with him. Once again shoving the thoughts out her mind, she turned towards the stranger who seemed quite persistent.

"Eeh, fine, if you'd feel better, den you can buy me a drink. I'll have a kamekaze."

Renée LeBeau couldn't help but giggle when the Snowman uttered the word SLEET, but quickly quieted down at the sight of what she assumed to be officers filing into the bar. Was this normal? Were they after someone one? Certainly not her, right? Snorting a little, she made sure to keep her hands on the bar, although it was harder than she thought it would be. Deciding to keep quiet, she let the others voice pretty much what she was thinking. Damn cops.

"...so..." Sangrei began, "There was no fuckin' point to that. Great. Well, I guess I can't complain, huh?" He looked over to Renée, quirking an eyebrow. "What is a kamikaze, anyway?"

"Dat was absolutely ridiculous. Dem cops need ta' learn some damn manners." Grumbling a little, Renée nodded her thanks towards the Snowman before returning her attention once again to the inquisitive stranger.

"Dat's a good question. If I knew, I'd make it myself. Guess I'll just have some rum den. If dat's okay?"

"Wait, outta whiskey, right?" A sigh exited the man's lips. "Make that two glasses, I'll take that o'er nothin'. Mine on th'rocks, by the way." He laughed softly, tapping the counter with his fingertips. "All this time, you've been orderin' a drink and y'don't know what's in it, missy?" Sangrei said, directing the teasing question at Renée.

"Over de rocks for me too." Snatching the burgers, she began to munch on them, quite happy despite the strange taste they seemed to have. It had been a very long time since she had Gambit's food and if she were to admit it, she actually missed it. But, she would never admit it.

"Dun call me missy, sir. Didn't know I was supposed ta know what's in all my drinks. I'm not an alcoholic like mah mom."

"Dat was my burger, damn it." Frowning, she polished off one of them and quickly started on another one. Pausing only to reach for the bottle to pour herself a glass, Renée once again had flashbacks of the past. In mid thought, she put the bottle back down, took a swig, and sat the glass down before debating whether or not to sneak into the kitchen for some real food.

"Dat's right... it's Renée. You shouldn't spy on people's ID's dough. It's weird."

"Pretty sure I paid fer some too, so don't whine 'bout it." Sangrei shrugged it off, finishing off his burger and taking a small sip from his glass. "You're the one who put it out, ain't like y'should be surprised if someone sees it."

"But, I'm hungry." She really had nothing else to say but that. It was a childish comment, but it couldn't be helped. Renée honestly couldn't remember when the last time she had food, and it would probably be a while before she had anything else to eat. Chugging more of her rum, she grabbed the bottle, filled up the glass once again. She honestly debated just drinking out of the bottle, but her father frowned on that immensely.

"Sorry, I'm just a little crabby today."

"Well, sorry 'bout that then. I'm sure y'could get into the kitchen and cook somethin' up if it's really that bad off." The liquid in the glass swirled around before it disappeared in a quick gulp. "Don't worry bout it. It's pretty late at night, 'd be s'prised if ya weren't crabby."

"I was just hoping to run into my parents here... but like always, they're gone. I am too tired to actually cook something. Not only that, I don't really know how to cook anything other than Ramen Noodles or easy stuff like that." Shifting a little, she actually looked the man over, finding him to be quite appealing to the eye. Her sunglasses were still on, even with her being in the bar, and Renée knew she wouldn't take them off until she was completely sure it was safe. Which, would probably never happen because Gambit's was never safe. Dumping the entire glass into her mouth, she swallowed every bit of it, nearly slamming the glass down hard on the counter.

Once again Renée found herself heading towards Gambit's. She had yet to find her parents, but figured they would come out of the woodwork eventually. Releasing a sigh as she stepped across the street, she slid a few fingers through her raven locks, pushing them out of her eyes. Like usual, her sunglasses with their red lenses covered her oddly colored red orbs, but she didn't mind. Her outer appearance was covered in a black jacket with the hood pulled over her head. It pretty much covered her appearance, which was exactly what she wanted. With a deep breath, she shoved open the door and stepped inside of the bar, a million memories making their way into her mind immediately.

A man with two swords hanging at his hips glanced around as he walked towards the bar. The various people entering left the door open for just long enough for him to slip inside without touching the wood. A quick glance around told him that it was quite full today. The hooded figure next to him gave him pause, but Sangrei shrugged, running his fingers through his hair, and headed for a seat at the bar.

He skirted around tables, chairs and patrons, arriving at the stool. "The usual? What, you don't know the usual? Well, I guess that's to be expected when you're robots, huh."

It was far more crowded inside the bar than she expected, and Renée found herself shifting uncomfortably. It appeared as if she knocked a fellow patron into some food, and she felt guilty, but didn't want to draw any attention to herself, so she just moved away from the door, heading towards the counter top away from most everyone that happened to be sitting on the stools. Sliding onto the stool, she glanced hard at the counter, hoping that no one realized that Gambit's oldest daughter was back in town. She really didn't want any trouble.

The figure sat a bit further down the counter, and Sangrei wondered why it seemed vaguely familiar. Everyone else seemed to be going about their own business, and it wasn't as though he had come to meet anyone in particular. After a brief moment of decision, he scooted up and over various stools, popping down in the one next to the figure. Without turning, he casually kicked his leg over the other, propped his elbow on the counter and asked, "Can I get you a drink?"

It was as if fate was playing a cruel trick upon her. The same guy from the other night just happened to be at the bar again at the very same time. What was going on? Scowling beneath the hood, she tapped her fingers against the counter and fought the urge to move away from him. Instead, she took in a deep breath and without moving her head, responded to him. Just one drink and then she would leave. She didn't feel safe in the bar tonight and she needed to leave before someone recognized her. Forcing the accent away, Renée responded carefully.

"Yes, a vodka please."

He duly noted her discomfort, ordering their drinks quickly, then commenting on it. "Seem shifty. Someone after you or something?" His eyes flicked over, trying to get a glance at her face. Unfortunately, the hood obscured it and the corners of his lips turned downward ever so slightly. Where had he seen this person before? The voice seemed familiar, but then again, there were a lot a female voices that he knew. Of course, no one that would really be hiding from him, so that narrowed it down a bit.

Renée LeBeau picked up the glass as soon as it was delivered in front of her. He had noted her shifting, which made her shift even more. Scowling a little more, she debated on how to drink her drink without actually giving away her appearance. Deciding just to bide her time for a moment or two, she glanced around the bar again before shifting her gaze towards the door. Was someone after her? Possibly, but only if news got out that she was back. Surely no one knew, right?

"No one is after me. Just awfully crowded in here. That's all." Damn, it was hard to talk without an accent.
