Personality

Ricky was always quiet and to himself, he never really spoke to anybody unless they were either his friend or somebody spoke to him. Although he can be funny at times he is cursed with emotional problems he has had ever since the day he was born, so this may cause him to switch from a happy laughing manner to a angry "I'm gonna kill you" mood.

Shadow Dive- This attack is his main mode of transportation. He is able to dive into the shadow of anything he can fit in and "swim" to any shadow of his choice. The approximate speed of his shadow dive is not determined, but it is probably equivalent to a car going 140MPH, and can stop on a dime.

Shadow Lock- If his shadow is visible he is able to manipulate it to lock with somebody else's shadow which means for the time beings their "fates" become linked. If he cuts himself the person who is locked will be cut also, but the downside to this skill is that it works on reverse so if the other person is willing to sacrifice all for the death of Ricky he may be in trouble.

Shadow Mode- Shadow Mode makes it seem that Ricky's entire body is engulfed by a black fire, his eyes are marked by white so it's easy to tell which is his head from his feet. In this mode Ricky's strength is tripled, and his stamina reaches almost infinity. The only downside is that he cannot sustain this mode for more than 30 minutes at a time. When he first got this power he was only able to sustain it for 2 minutes. With training he can probably push this up to an anytime thing.

Shadow Crasher- This skill can be used if both the user and the opponent have visible shadows. The user's shadow attacks the opponents shadow which deals damage to the opponent's metal mind making them think they have been hit by an incredibly powerful attack when they only think they were. This skill is good when the user is down on energy for it only requires mental concentration.

History

2 Years ago when Ricky had just recently turned fourteen his father had built a machine that was able to manipulate light Being a curious teenager Ricky decided to check this invention out.
The large dome seemed so empty on the inside it didn't look like it was much use at all, so he decided to kick it from the inside. A chain reaction occurred and the machine closed locking him inside instantly. He screamed as his life depended on his voice, and luckily his father seemed to come to his rescue.
But it wasn't to be. His father had built the machine to manipulate light, but nobody would test it out for him, and being that his son was in the machine he decided to use the contraption on him. Horrified the sun screamed louder and ran around the machine in an attempt to escape. The father flipped the switch of the machine on and it immediately began to function. From every part of the dome an immensely bright light shined down. He was blinded by this and closed his eyes in order to protect his eyes from permanent damage.
Little did he know the lights that came from every direction created a different shadow below him which created almost a million shadows. It wasn't long before the supernatural happened. The million shadows vanished and formed into one. The shadow then vanished from under the boy leaving him shadowless. After a few minutes of this bright light torture he heard on the outside of the machine his father starting to shout. He opened his eyes to reveal nothing but darkness, but he was able to see the window in which his father was viewing him from. Dive into the darkness... Said a voice from in his head. At first he made nothing from it, but then then he got an idea to just dive headfirst into the darkness of which he was viewing. He dove into the dark and left the room causing the lights to blaze brightly again.
He seemed to be swimming in darkness and he enjoyed it for a while, but as he looked up to what seemed to be the surface it looked like it was his father. He swam up erupting from the shadow of his dad and looked at him angrily. His body transformed into what seemed to be a flaming darkness, but it was revealed he wasn't truly ablaze when he picked up his father by the collar and lifted him in the air.
"You'd sacrifice your own son for a silly little project... you are a poor excuse for a father..." and with that in his free hand formed an object of what seemed to be a ball on black fire. He drove it into his father's chest killing him instantly, but surprisingly not leaving a mark on him.
Ricky went back to his normal form. Surprised at what he had done he dove into the shadow of his dead father and erupted from the shadow of the Amity Park High School. He would never return to his father's lab, but he knew his mother would be worried. So he decided to be a runaway and just live in the town of Amity Park until he could be man enough to tell his mother what happened to his father.
Over the years Ricky has saved the day, and he has ruined them. But he still sees himself as a lost young boy with but a strip of hope.

Quickpaw Hurojo awakes after having been asleep for several years. Around the area was only void. It was empty. Dark. Cold. "Where... where have the spirits placed me?" He started patting his body all over; ensuring that he was corporeal. "Not dead; that's a plus." Though there was no time to lose. If he was corporeal, that likely means that he could return to the world he knew, and hopefully return to his king. He began running, hoping to find an exit to this ethereal obscurity.
