The next step was to set up a sort of extra defensive system. After finishing with the interior of the Jarrako Downs Station, she started with the exterior. Having her army of nanobots clean it up first, repairing the exterior before promptly digging up spots for the point defense and anti-capital ship turrets. Within a matter of weeks, massive Batteries of guns of all sizes had been built, all connected to the Reactor appropriately for power. More of the Hangars were opened and cleared, using the materials found there, she was able to strengthen the actual hull of the Station a significant amount, and even build a massive, extremely powerful Shield Generator with two nodes on each section of the Station for maximum protection from threats.
Turning to look out a window, she observed the carcasses of ships outside, and smiled. They were filled with valuable loot and salvage, and could be used to build extensions to the Station. But she'd need more Nano-bots. Using the Salvage, she built droves and droves of the things, until the cloud of Nanobots was so dense that it looked like a swarm of insects, blocking out light and even buzzing loud enough to be heard.
Out into the cold vacuum of Space the Swarm went, starting with the Derelict Dreadnought(s) around the Station, stripping them from bow to stern of everything. Metal, Cloth, Wood, Plastic, everything was taken, until the ship was simply gone, all of these materials were stored in each of the hangars in huge, neat stockpiles for later use. She didn't stop until everything within the range of her cybernetic-enhanced mind could reach was stripped down, packaged, and ready for use. Leaving about one A.U of empty Space between the Station and anything left floating around.
Over the better course of the next few months, River continued toiling, building up The Jarrako Downs until there was nothing left. Starting with a Rail System, she would connect the Districts with a great Rail System connected to the roof of the Station, keeping it relatively safe from terrorist attacks, and also making it a mag-lev, allowing the trains to move at amazing speeds for the patrons of the Station. Once that was complete, she began to build outwards, expanding the Station with great towers and rings for gravity and extra defense as well as connection between the Districts, and housing.
It took the better half of a year, but once she was done, River collapsed into the couch of her home she'd built for herself in the Central Hub of the Station, atop a great Market, where Gods know what would be sold openly. Slaves, Drugs, Guns, the works. She didn't care. As long as everyone respected her; and followed the only rule: Don't fuck with River. She would get only ten percent of the profit that everyone made in her Station, which wasn't a lot, perhaps, but when one considered how much money would be flowing through the place, it didn't matter. And all types of currency would be accepted, unless the seller wouldn't take them, in which case, the buyer was shit out of luck.
River didn't care though.
Once all the reserves were used up and she was left with empty hangars and an even more empty station, it was time to spread the word. Sending out a broadcast to whoever would listen, she
advertised the station for all to come. A safe haven, a new start, whatever. It didn't matter. If someone needed it, it was here, at Jarrako Downs.
