"I dunno, but there's a reason I was sendin Jones ahead." He said and took to the air, keeping his feat up, large wings slowly beating. "Hurry across afore they fill the room lads!" He shouted and hurried across himself. Okay, Robbie cheated. The pirates raced across the room, stumbling over each other and trying to avoid the snakes.

"He was the last one that joked about mutiny." He said cheerfully, landing out of the way of the snake. The pirates escaped, mostly unscathed though frightened. "An what's this than?" He asked and examined the ball. The half dragon flew up and examined them, careful not to touch. "Start crossin the bridge! And be careful of where yeh step!"

"Then stay low!" he said annoyed. "Belly crawl if yeh need ta." He flew to the otherside, wanting to get there before the idiots of his crew set off any traps. Cautiously, Jones and the other crewmembers began to cross the bridge, carefully testign each step before they take it.

The pirates ran, but several were hit. The captain swore at the losses, and saw that, miraculously, Jones had made it. Still, the giant swinging balls had taken out several of his men. Damn, damn, double damn.

Nothing like being a hybrid, and a bit of a scoundrel, to get yourself well hated. Robbie, however, was dressed sharp, and looked tidy, unlike eh could have, so was well disguised. Or as well disguised as he could be considering on his back were two large dragon wings, held tight against him with a coat thrown over. He looked like a tall hunch back, but better than then a half dragon.

Half dragons were not well loved, after all. He ducked into the Alley Way for a moment to shift his wings, relaxing them slightly. Keeping them so constantly tense was hard work.

The wings snapped back up, secure under the coat and he glanced to the new being. "Greetings." He returned, tensely. There was no way the other had not seen his wing's, and Robbie wasn't looking forward to havign to explain anything, or worse, the other wanting to touch.

He hated others touching his wings.

"If I don't hide them other's touch them." He responded and relaxed his wings on last moment, before pressing them tight against his back once more and heading out. He had no basket, though he was ather amused to see the other's. That was a man, wasn't it?

Always hard to tell with the elven races.

Robbie was as vain as any dragon out there. Vainer than many in fact, and had a love of soft fabric, bright colors, and shiny material that was hard to parallel. So when confronted with a silk stand, he couldn't help but stop to look. To steal or not to steal? Tonight. Tonight he'd smuggle some away.

Until then, he examined the products.

Robbie Wings stepped into the Flask and glanced around. Interesting, interesting. He scanned the place and smirked, finding a table and sitting down at it. It'd have room enough for he, Jess, and any fool man or woman willing to sail with him. It wasn't a booth, though his back was to the wall. Robbie had a rather obvious reason to despise booths, in the form of two large red and gold wings on his back.

"Not if you call me a pheasant." He had heard that. "Yer answerin Jess's little request then?" He said and raised an eyebrow. "Aight then. I'm Robbie Wings, Captain of th'Wench's Trident. Ye ever been on a ship before, lad?" He said, looking the feline creature over. Tail and all. Well, this would be an interesting trip to be sure.

Had she just giggled at him. The man bliinked at this and raised an eyebrow. Well, he wasn't the type to fall for a pretty face, that was sure. "Have ye any experience on the see, miss? Ever been on a baot before?" He asked. She had flirted. Well that'd stop soon enough.

Robbie Wings glanced over the newcomers and nodded. "Right then. If any of you lot haven't been on a ship before, you better lit me know now." He didn't want some sea sick sap on his ship. They took space, rations, and cause no end of head ache with their incessant illness. He had no sympathy at all.

"Jess'll be here soon enough to ask more questions, but I want the basics out of the way. You've all fired a weapon, been in a fight, and been on a ship, right?"

"Alright then." He said and raised an eye at Medya's question. "Any other impertinent questions like that? I like to get them out of them quickly. As for Jess, she's on her way." Woman probably got held up by some idiot chassing her skirts again. "Considering I'm the Captain, my second in command shouldn't be yer concern, now should it?" Medya better be able to defend herself. "Ye saw the ad. I won't lie ans say the trip'll be nice, easy, and pain free, but the loot at the end is well worth it."

"And thar she be." He stood and smirked. "Jess, meet the scalawags that answereed yer little request. They claim to be able to handle themselves on a ship well enough." The half dragon said and shrugged. "Whatcha think of them, before we be off." It'd be time to go soon enough, and they both knew it.

"There we go. Let's get ye dogs to the ship that ye'll be working and living on." He said and strode out, leading the way. "Jess, hurry up! An' what took ye so long t'get here in the first place." He grumbled. "Can't get'm to make their marks, if ye have the paper, now can I?"

Why had he wanted to come along to job Jess was perfectly capable of, he didn't know.

"Will ye stop that Jess." Robbie said, though he kept a hand on his own pistol. "The map says it ain't much further, and ye can't let tales an' animals spook ye." The Captain was never impressed with how superstitious his second could be. "I'll admit the island be a mite on the eerie side, but ye'd do better to keep yer eyes open for any dangers to to shoot at a bunch o harmless critters."

Not much further indeed. The captain checked the map again, and checked their heading, then continued on.

Robbie's wings were in the way. They were always in the way, and as Rham moved closer, they flexed out to push the other away. "Back off me wings, Rham." He ordered sternly. "Alright. We need to head due east from here." He said and pointed a hand out in the correct direction. "We be looking for ruins of some sort. Probably from some storm." Or other pirates. Either way, the island was logn abandoned.

From there, the captain would share the next direction. No need to get them too eager and thinkin they could do it without him, after all.

"Yes, Cap'n" Rham nodded, stepping back from behind the Captain. Following the hand, Rham looked toward their current objective. 'Ruins from a storm' He pondered as they walked across the beach, ether a ship or possibly a shelter built near the edge of the island. Stones, unexpected. Rham picked up his pace to catch up with the group.

"Jess!" The captain called out, frustrated. "Jess you fool, don't run ahead." The foolish woman! Why was she his second? Oh yes, she was Jess. She had enough high points to make the implusiveness worth it.

#, as written by Prose
Jess came to a full stop with her chest rising and falling with excitement again. There was nothing better than homing in on some lost treasure. Her eyes kept darting to the brush line with each rustle of the leaves nearby. She was getting funny feelings again but Robbie had said for her to behave, a hard thing for her to do.

“Captain, th' loot. Where be it supposed t' be from here? Does it say on th' map?” She asked while peering up the long set of stairs. There seemed to be something up there but what, the pirate couldn’t tell just yet. She wasn’t close enough.

Rham quickly followed behind the Captain and first mate, pausing just a moment to place a hand on one of the stone pillars. The thing towered over him, with it's age Rham wondered how it had been built or stood up. "Archeologically these things could be a major find." He pondered aloud, though he wasn't going to suggest they try and load one on the ship. Done marveling, he rejoined the group.

When you had hot goods to sell, the neighborhood Penance Tavern was in was the best place to get rid of it. Robbie always had hot goods to sell. He didn't exactly work in a legitimate line of business. Still, the distinctly non human man kept his wings tucked tight to his body as he sipped his drink. The last of the stolen goods was sold off, his crew had been paid off, and he had an hour or two to waste before he went back to the ship to do a little maintenance and work to keep her running.

She was a good ship. She was his ship. More than that, he had poured so much blood, sweat, and tears into her that he would be pissed as hell if she ever fell. The man glanced around and sipped his beer, more amused than not with the clientele here. Seedy to a one. Well, it wasn't exactly Gambit's, and given that places reputation, that was saying something.

Isaac was already long into drowning himself in whiskey. Granted it wasn't the whiskey he was use to drinking since age 15 out of Texas but it worked just fine. He threw back his head as he shined off a double in one drink before forcefully but gently placing the glass on the counter with the opening facing down. He quickly rapped his knuckles on the counter to get the bartenders attention.

"Another one." The glance that Isaac gave the bartender was an order not any kind of asking nicely. He was quickly complied with as another double of the whiskey was place in front of him.

Isaac did not seem to fit in with the other patrons style of dress. His shirt was simple white with a brown hide vest over it. The hate he wore was on the counter next to him a lighter brown with a leather strap around it and he wore jeans with his duster on the counter beside the hat. This left open both his belts each a deep richly worn brown. The revolver belt held many cartridges with the exception of 2 or 3 that had been spent and his double action army hung in the pouch on his right side. Another similar one was in a cross draw holster on the belt. The only other noticeable features of clothing on the man was the silver star badge that sat on his right hip and a old pocket watch chain that went into one of the vest pockets.

Geez, someone was in to dress up. Not that Robbie could say anything. He had expensive tastes. The winged man moved to the counter and joined Isaac there, more due to crowding than design. Regular seats didn't exactly accommodate wings anyway. The idiots who thought having a set would be cool should try finding a place to sit in a restaurant sometime. Still, he finished off his drink as well and set it down.

"I'll take a second as well." It was just beer, and much weaker than the other man's whiskey, but it was there. "Oi. What's with the star?" Cowboys wearing stars. That was a new one for Robbie. Still, this place drew in all types. Sometimes he wondered if Wing City was really all it was cracked up to be. Full of freaks and geeks and everything in between.

"I used it to justified murdering assholes back in the day." That was Isaac's only reply as he took to sipping the whiskey now instead of throwing it back. He didn't even bother to turn his head to look at the man when he retorted to the question.
