Sabetha Riwora

I'll rob you blind

0 · 1,290 views · located in Dark Woods

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Adantas

Description

Alias: The Vixen

Age: 24

Species: Unknown - She would call herself a mutant. She had the ability to shift into a fox but when she couldn't fully shift, she became a half creature.

Gender: Female

Due to a life changing experience several aspects of Sabetha have changed.

Occupation: None

Relationship: None

Appearance: Barely taller than 5'1, Sabetha is built like a twig, bony and very thin, often mistaken for being malnourished and sickly. In actual fact she has very lean muscle, capable of carrying her swiftly for many miles.

While still skeletal and slightly disfigured with shoulders hunched as if her body was meant to be aligned with all four appendages on the ground, the initial shock of the odd figure is startling but it suits her as she now holds her head up high and does not stoop to hide herself.

Living as a street urchin she didn’t have the luxury to clean up and nor did her attitude allow her. Now having changed drastically she has made an effort to change who she is. Her once bark-like and straw hair now is cleaner and while is still rather thin is growing better and has a healthy shine to it, the natural curls are coming back out, making her look younger. Her fox ears are no longer hidden and the mottled fur is now fresh and almost fluffy.

Her canine teeth while still yellow no longer have the grime and filth covering them. Her slitted feline eyes still hold their eerie green colour and can look quite terrifying especially when the light catches them and they reflect a ghostly glow. Sharp elongated nails while tidier are still long and sharp.

No longer feeling compelled to appear as she believed she should Sabetha has discarded the rags and now wears the clothes she reserves for assignments, a simply tunic over the top of tan knee length pants.

These small changes may not be able to hide her odd appearance but she no longer is perceived as threatening.

Personality: Sabetha has had a rollercoaster ride of a life. In her youth she was a rather quiet and solemn child but as any child does, she had natural curiosity and loved life. That all turned darker when after she shifted, she and her beloved father fled their small village. With nothing but the clothes on their backs and a few small coins they were forced to live in the slums. It hardened the poor youth very quickly and she to survive she would often sacrifice much, like the horrific pain of shifting to hunt for food. Her natural curiosity turned into a skill of thievery, she was thrust into a world of darkness and it was either sink or swim. For a while she managed to swim, keeping her head barely above water by distancing herself from morality and her happy self.

This hardened young Sabetha and she became increasingly rude and calloused, mainly because she had to be to deal with the underwold that she had found herself a part of. However, despite her darkening self she was attempted to keep some sort of balance for her father, if it weren’t for him she wouldn’t know what would happen. As it so happened her father was murdered and this drove her into a violent and grief-stricken rage. So desperate and broken that she hunted down the killers and slaughtered them in cold blood. It was this action that finally drove her to the edge. Her dark persona finally became her. For a long time she was simply cruel and heartless but as the years went by she grew into the darkness and while always had a fiery pit of rage and hate inside her she adjusted and became rather mischievousness, delving into the malicious. She was often rude and sarcastic when speaking to people. She enjoyed dark humour and liked watching people squirm.

She became so horrible and desolate that she began to make a name for herself as a ruthless assassin. She was the one people sent to retrieve things. She had a knack for stealing and greatly enjoyed it, although, arguably, she seemed to enjoy the chasing part more. Her reputation grew and a part of her revelled in it, but a small part of her detested it as it proved that she truly was a monster. She became a deeply suspicious person since losing her father. Sab believed she since she was a monster than there was nothing she could do to change her appearance. This made her very aggressive, judgemental and assuming when she dealt with anyone.

A drastic change altered this, a test showed that she in fact wanted to save herself and so she brought herself back to the light. Of course, after everything changing who she is wasn’t going to be easy. However, now with her new found self confidence and acceptance she was going to be better. She refused to allow her past actions and appearance dictate who she could be. Her maliciousness and mischievousness turned into playful cheek while still slightly rude. She still struggles not to assume that everyone is against her, but she is trying.

Her broken heart is slowly mending, although until she can find someone who will truly care for her it will always have that crack that was done by the death of her father. While she has changed for the better she is still Sabetha and everything that has happened hasn’t suddenly disappeared, meaning she is still sarcastic and a pessimist. With her turn around she now refuses to go back to working in the world of crime. Although, that doesn’t mean she’s getting rid of her skill for sneakery and thievery, those still come in handy.

Weakness: While she has great endurance, she is left with next to no strength, a result of being hungry and on the run often. And if Sab isn't able to get out of a situation using her agility then she's pretty much doomed. But that isn't to say she wouldn't fight every step of the way!

Weapons/Abilities: Is a skilled 'shadow'. She blends into the dark, is able to hide in plain sight and is very good at stealth. A honed pick-pocketer and apt with a small blade. She doesn't have any magic or 'powers', she has been forced to learn the art of survival.

Daylight and the Dark woods wasn't as menacing as they usually were, but still the deep fog and the clouded sky didn't stop it from being spooky. Sabetha crawled out from her the base of a large tree, careful to not make any sounds. She had spent the night there escaping some particularly nasty clients who were not happy with the message she brought them.

Sabetha Riwora ear's perked up as she heard voices. One had a certain melodic ring to it so it was definitely female, not one of her chasers from last night. Curious Sab went to investigate.

Sabetha Riwora As Sab made her way stealthily to the noises, nearly on all fours because in her deformed state she was halfway between, she came to a thick shrub which was perfect to hide behind but still gaze through to see who was in the pond. To her surprise she found a young man, probably still in his teens, floating on a strange contraption facing away from a half dressed creature. A few thoughts raced through Sab's head, first and foremostly that they had just been having a go and being the type of person to judge she just barely held back her snarl. Sab hated most people in general, if they were better looking, have a better life, whatever, she felt it was incredibly unfair since she had lost everything she loved and was no this deformed creature, killing and tracking for a living.

Sabetha Riwora 's ears twitched at the clicked of something metallic, it sounded menacing but it wasn't the familiar chink of a sword being drawn. It was most likely to be the same strange technology that the young man's board was from. Sab's mind was whirring as she started to consider how to defeat her probably soon to be attacker, stealth was probably her best option. Although the women's voice was easily heard so when she questioned if the man was going to hurt Sabetha, a frown creased on her forehead. She needed to keep moving, she didn't want her position known, but she did also want to mess around with them. So very sneakily she started going in circles around them, making the odd rustle to make it appear as if there were more of her. Then she decided to speak.
"Do you know whom you are attacking?"

Now Sab was truly confused. Had this women no backbone at all? There was a slightly whooshing noise as the young man seemed to elevate on his strange board. That was truly fascinating. What Sabetha would do to have one of them.
"I won't harm you, as long as you give me what I want."

This boy was getting incredibly irritating.
"You don't have what I want and you insolent friend, does. If he cares for you then he might reconsider his statement."
Sab had no idea if the woman was anything to him but she tried it anyway, especially since she seemed quite fearful of her. Sab was still moving around, making sure to stay out of the hovering boy's line of sight.

Still moving around Sab let out a low growl that echoed through the area. It definitely sounded eerie and it even impressed Sab. She didn't know if the guy was bluffing but Sab didn't exactly want to get in a fight over something that might not even work for her. But when the women asked if they could do something for her then she perked up.
"There might be." She said making sure she was close to the women as she said it.
"I want something that I know only is accessable of someone of great power. Perhaps you know of someone that could help me?"

Curious, Sab thought, she might be more useful then I originally thought.
"I need to know if you can help me before I give you exact details but it requires transformation." Sab was grwoing tired of continuously walking around so when she was sure that they could be of help she planned on showing herself.

Since the boy was above it would be difficult to come out of the shadows behind him but since the woman was facing away she could easily come out and appear as if she materialised from nothing. So she gracefully stepped forward and speaking to the womans back, "I believe you'll be able to see." Her voice strong that echoed through the cove. While she was facing in front her eyes were actually on the hovering board.
"And you boy. What are you?"

Sabetha Riwora growled fiercely as the woman neared her. She heard in the few words that escaped her lips the pity in her voice. It angered her so much. She hated pity and would never accept sympathy, especially since this woman probably had never, a day in her life, felt like an outcast, a monster to be feared. She drew her knife and crouched low, falling into her animalisatic habits and making sure that the woman was a good distance away and she could see both of them.
"I want to be able to change as I used to. To become fully one or the other."

Sabetha Riwora was still not sure how this mysterious lady could help her but she was desperate.
"How can you help me?" She said wearily. She couldn't exactly see what the boy was doing so high up but she knew she was at a disadvantage down here.

Sabetha Riwora was in desperate need of some new clothes. Her current pair was weeks old, covered in filth and had multiple rips in them. They stunk too. While she didn't care for what people thought of her she hated being so disgusting and giving people the chance at looking at her with that disapproving look just made her fingers itch to punch something. Slinking through the womens section planning on nicking something she came across a few people and ducking behind a rack stood to listen in.

As the people moved through the rack of clothings, Sab made sure to keep her head low and move with them, always keeping the material as a guard between their view of her. Her hypersensitive nose sniffed the air and it was clear that there was some animal here. By the smells of it, most probably a wolf. But how could that be? She couldn't hear the clicking of claws on the tiles. To solve the mystery Sab lowered herself to the ground so that she could see the feet of the strangers and to her surprise so saw something that she hadn't imagined to see before. A bushy tail, that of a wolf's was swishing back and forwards from one of the girls. Sabetha couldn't wrap her head around it. There is someone else like her, standing openly? As she silently rose again, eager to see this deformed person like herself she was sadly disappointed. Anger and hatred boiled over her as she looked upon the delicate face of a 16 year old standing perfectly straight and looking like a normal girl. How could that be? While she was barely living in the slums in this deformed body. Halfway between fox and human.

Overhearing the conversation Sab couldn't help but look down at the girls bleeding foot. It was strange to see that she bleed silver! What was this girl? She was similar to Sab but Sab bled normally. She was curious and was interested to find out more about this strange wolf girl.

Sabetha Riwora was beginning to lose interest. But she did learn that the wolf girl, while she could heal others could heal herself, and that gave Sab a small amount of satisfaction. But just then she caught a whiff of herself and reminded herself that she had to find some clothes. Something none de script and inconspicuous.

While still close to the floor Sab gave a last fleeting glance towards the feet of the strangers. To her immense surprise she saw the man kneeling against the womans foot and put his mouth to it. Who the heck were these people? Sab crawled just that little bit closer to have a look at what he was doing. The girl hadn't done anything yet so it mustn't be that strange to her.

Both these creatures could heal? What was this? A simple trip to steal some clothes and suddenly she found herself with two people who could heal. They could come in handy if she ever got herself in a sticky spot. But she wasn't fond of trusting people, let alone strangers like these two. Plus she hated the girl for looking as she did. Sab couldn't help but be judgemental. She was still on the floor shaking her head at the two strangers.
