A fresh graduate from high school like his best friend since elementary school, Girl 1, has agreed to tag along on the exploration of North Brother Island. His main goal, to protect Girl 1 from any possible dangers; such as a falling brick of a deteriorated building. He is known for his sporty and outgoing personality but not for his enjoyment of camping and hunting deer in the wilderness.

A college student as well as the older sister to Girl 1, she plays to the opposite personalities of her younger sister. That of being rowdy and making herself heard. The one come trait the sisters somewhat share is being adventurous, however Girl 2 directs this towards going to a few parties and having a good time along with her boyfriend, Boy 2.

A college student studying photography and boyfriend to Girl 2. It was thanks to him knowing someone in NYCP and asking them to look the other way so his group could get an up close and personal look at the island. He is known for his laid back and easy going type personality.

Heard and answered the call of one who wished to curse the island. For years he has been wandering around the island, trapping and controlling any poor souls who have happened to leave the world of the living while on or around the island. His favorites are that of two young ghosts.

A young man who worked on the ship, General Slocum, which burned and ran aground North Brother Island in 1904. He was a kind and sweet young man, that is, until he died. Now he is cold and little harsh when speaking to other souls that are trapped on the island. (You may decide why he was working on the ship and decide whether he died by being burned to death or by drowning)

A young teenage girl, was sent to the island when it was a facility to treat drug offenders in 1952. She was a stuck up young girl, even when locked in a room all her own, “To protect her from herself and others” doctors said. But in death she changed to a quieter and shy young thing. (You may decide on how she died on the island and whether or not she was a true drug offender or not, held against her will, court ordered or voluntarily)
