a character in “The Multiverse”, originally authored by Sick Puppy, as played by RolePlayGateway

Groups

The Whytefyre wolf pack is an ever growing society based on the planet Terra.

Description

Standing an impressive five foot at the shoulder and a further two feet to the bridge of his wing Sakima is a beast of a wolf. His reddish grey pelt covers his large muscular mass and a sharp array of teeth and black claws only exentuate the fact that hes a force to be reckoned with.

His Wings stretch gracefully over his flanks and the bluish hues compliment the texture of the perfectly arranged feathers.

His face is alot lighter than the rest of his body being a light grey and this gives him a sturdy but compassionate look to him. He looks tidy, strong and determined yet compassionate and caring to those he loves.

His voice is deep and smooth the complete opposite to his growling which is rough edged.

Sakimas howl is long and awe-inspiring reverberating freedom, love and peace.

Personality

Wolves are pack animals and Sakima is no different he will get very defensive if threatened either directly or territorally for space and food.

As the Cora of WhyteFyre he is a domineering leader, rarely questioned, as his wisdom and experience echoes through his direction. He would often be seen as the father figure of the pack, best interests always at heart even though sometimes that may mean putting his own well-being at stake.

History

Sakimas history begun in a forest somewhere to the east, and descending from a mating line of Cora and Koras Sakimas blood left no doubt that he was next in line as heir to the pack.

His Mother Tiri and Father Corsair were the mating pair in the LedgeWood Pack and the first few months were spent teaching Sakima to hunt, and the everday ordeals of life, territory, neighbours, rules etc.

Sakima's uncle Fir on the other hand had ideas he had been born second after Corsair and was therefore doted upon less and dismissed as heir to the pack. He took a watchful eye on the nieve cub making friends and one day took for a walk in the woods to a spot that the knew bears were common, with the intention of leaving the cub behind.

Sakima wandered for days not upset but taking onboard his parents advice and using it to the best he could. His travels took him far and wide over the vastness of Terra and many years later he was much bigger and much more capable and whats more, he had the prowess of a true prince of wolves.

Today Sakima travels with one or two wolves hoping to settle down in an area of terra that will keep his newfound family safe from harm.

So begins...

Sakima pawed his way through the underbrush tail between his legs, pulse racing and nothing but a whisper of a pant in evidence of his presence.

The Large wolf framed by two miraculous wings stood four to five feet at the shoulder and with his wings splayed he could have easily peaked at six. The reddish hues to his fur emblazoned gold as the sunlight through the trees reflected and scattered from his muscular frame.

Sakima was the Cora of his pack, the alpha. It wasn't a very large pack to be sure but the company he kept was good, and he felt worthy of protecting. His father had taught him that, before he died, along with his mother in an angry confrontation between his old allegiance and a neighbouring pack. He had obediently waited for their packs return but no sign of them remained.

Sakima sauntered into a small opening in the foliage, partially covered in shade, with heavy footfalls leaving a trail of rustling and shuffling amongst the leaves. After a long day the small deer in his mouth was a good show for the days efforts and he was sure the other wolves would be grateful. But it was his kill, and as the Cora he had the first choice of what to eat.

He eyed the carcass, sniffing and nosing before choosing the lean meat of the hide and sinking his teeth in. It hadn't been long since he'd eaten but meat always tasted good, the mettalic and warm taste of a fresh kill always heightened the packs mood.

Upon smelling something that was unusual to him, Sakimas ears were on high alert 'Whos there?' he barked in his deep tremulous voice... his wings spread wide in an attempt to make himself look more threatening...but his 5 foot stature, at the shoulder, was more than enough to deter most scavengers. Looking around he noted the two amber eyes that were warm, yet almost mischievious. His wings realigned themself on his body. 'What is your purpose here? Speak.' he bellowed warmly at the female wolf.

Her tail flicked back and forth in a slow wag, head rising as she watched the male. Her steps were fluid and graceful as she continued to circle around, intending to dive into the woods and race away at the first prompting.

'Simply walking,' came her soft response.

'Don't let me interrupt, young prince. I don't want you to soil your feathers in your distraction'. There was laughter, even a small sense of mockery, but it was all done in good nature.

Sakima half huffed and half grunted at the wolfs reply before lowering his guard. She didn't seem much of a threat. 'Im sorry, theres been alot of talk of scouting groups in the area. You look like you could eat,' he continued looking at her small frame. It wasn't perhaps that she hadn't eaten but maybe she was just that tiny bit smaller than he was that made him think so. He had eaten plenty, and he was sure there was enough meat left on the partially dismembered carcass to satisfy her and the rest of the pack. He drifted back a few feet from where the body lay in the soft grass. 'If your hungry...' he started without finishing. The female didnt threaten him but she had certainly took him off guard.

Sakima was strong and large but he was also kind. He would rarely see another wolf starve if he could help it, unless he felt that they were a direct threat to the WhyteFyre.

Her eyes were warm with gratitude, but she idly shook her head, her ears flapping against her maw as she shook herself out. Her fur glittered in the sunlight, the warm smell of deep woods emenating from her frame.

'I do not hunger, but the sentiment is appreciated' she told him, hesitating in her walk and turning to face him. They were perhaps twenty paces apart now. Wings, she thought. When did wolves carry wings?

As she changed direction, instead padding closer, her left hind leg showed to have somewhat of a limp, though it did nothing to slow her down. Deep, pitted scars where no fur grew lined her flank.

'You carry the scent of many wolves', she noted, sniffing at the air.

'Why travel alone then, fearless one?'

Sakima hadn't kept his eyes off her, and upon seeing her battle-scarred pelt, he stood up and paced in for a closer view. now not five paces away from her and hearing her quesion, he replied 'I'm not alone, my pack however small travel with me.' he then noticed the limp, 'Please, sit down, id hate for you to further injusre yourself on my behalf. Her laughter was not mocking.

'Save your chivalry. The wound is old, and the injured gait is natural to me.' She tilted her head to one side, ears pricked forward as she observed him.

'There are others. I can see how they would be willing to follow one such as yourself. You have the look of a leader.'

She glanced back to her flank, before shifting to sit. Her shoulders were high, her face forward, and her eyes bored into his.

'Many monsters roam these woods. I was a foolish child. Wandered too close to a den. I bear these scars as a lesson to remain wary.'

witha wave of relief sweeping across his mind Sakima sat down once more as she spoke. 'I do what i can for those that instill their faith and trust in me, as i said we do not number many but we always pull through. Well you must have been very lucky, those scars dont come from simple scratches, im sure. Tell me, what is your name?' he asked friendily, he was happy to sit here with her, just talking she had something about her that warranted his attention.

'If I had any friends, they would call me Caitrin', she replied, her tail sweeping in even, soft strokes across the grass. The smell of the meat was not something that appealed to her. She'd been a human for far too long before the curse had taken hold.

'And to whom do I owe the pleasure?'

'Caitrin, thats an unsual name, if i may be so bold.' Sakima started.. 'My names Sakima.' It was a strong name for a strong creature. He looked around at the surroundings before stretching his wings and spreading his jaws wide with a yawn. After settling backdown, front paws crossed and head resting to one side... 'So Caitrin where does your journey take you next? do you have a pack somewhere far off?' and the a small ooze of guilt trickled through him as he remembered her saying 'If i had any friends...'

There was no hint of offense or sadness in her eyes.

'My family rejected me years ago, when they realized what I had become. I've realized that traveling on my own has only ever been a benefit to me. I do not follow others well.' She glanced to one side, her sigh emitted in a whine.

'There is no reason to pity me, Sakima. My plight is a familiar one.'

Her eyes glanced past him, towards the pup who had perched itself on a tree stump. A glimmer of amusement settled in her eyes.

'Seems we have a visitor,'

'Im sorry to hear that, i can empathise somewhat with my own story but...' and then he heard the little wolf a few metres away. 'Ahh there you are,' Sakima pushed himself up onto his haunches and foot after foot made his way over to the little cub. 'Come you must eat,' he said spreading a wing down to the little creature for her to climb on... 'This is Wolfina, Wolfina meet Caitrin, shes...well shes a friend.'

'Its a pleasure, little princess,' Caitrin replied, rising to all fours and lowering her head into a slight bow. 'I won't linger for long. It seems the two of you have business to attend to.'

Her eyes flickered to Sakima. 'Forgive me.'

Sakima looked over to Caitrin, slightly anguished by the thought of her wandering alone. 'Look, before you go, i know you have your hesitations when it comes to company, but the thought of you, getting into...' he gestured to her scars, 'just know that though we may be small, im sure theres room enough for you if you decide thats what you want.' Sakima bowed in her direction leaving his words among the air before her before readjusting his focus to little Wolfina.

Sakima placed the deer down on the grass and resorted to getting his breath back on the grass. In doing so a strange and peculiar sent filled his nostrils and his ear s pricked for sounds that may be made by the source... there was nothing. However not certain that the smell was natural he raised once more to his feet.

'Stand by me he said trotting over to the little cub and spreading his wings out protectively.

they spanned over 7 feet in the air from the tip of the broad frame to the points of the feathers, and his large muscular frame dominated around five of the feet.

'Taking in another waft of the air, he was certin that something was in the area.

Sakima saw something move and a small flash of white, 'get behind me he said before he bore his impressive array of teeth and begun to skulk his way towards the cause of the panic.

'Show yourself!' he bellowed in a deep set voice that bounded back off the trunks surrounding trees. His wings began to flap violently causing the leaves to bend away from him.

His pack were behind him, and with the little cub safe in the presence of Surpisa, he was now fully focused and fully prepared if a fight was to break out.

Now only a few paces from the bush he eyed the space wearily, sniffing and listening for any sign that would betray the threat from its position.

Sakima , upon seeing the white flash of fur up on the ledge eased back slightly. the wolf was large but not towering. 'These are our lands, and what buisness have you here?' he continued.

A flash of red in his peripheral vision made Sakima aware of a limping figure moving towards them, human yes, but somehow he recognised her. Suddenly confused at which posed the bigger threat, sakima turned slightly, able to react appropriately if either of them decided to spring.

The woman however looked as though she had suffered some damage to her leg, enough to cause a permenent limp...limp? Caitrin? he guessed it was possible, anything was possible these days, and with a bow in her direction his attention turned back to that of the wolf.
