The Qote Companion of Garleunatri
The Qote is a small animal, about the size of the squirrel and very similar in appearance.
It feeds from the molds that grow on books and scrolls, as well as honey and other
organic materials such as berries. Truffles, as well as tidbits from the tables of elves prove
delicious treats for the qote. Rarely will you find a qote eating nuts and legumes.
The furred horn on it's head is predominately used to turn pages and navigate.
The Qote has long ears for it is a creature of Fae, indicating at it's possession of
some unnatural abilities. It can also jump great distances, it's bones being hollow like that
of a bird. The qote's long and fluffy tail aids it with climbing, balance, flight, and
brushing the molds off of books. Despite feeding from such a vile material, the
qote is quite sanitary. When it's not poking around books, eating, or playing, the qote
can be found cleaning itself.
The qote can hear written words.
