Being of Water

0 · 270 views · located in Wing City Spaceport

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Rougeshadow

Description

Image

Name: Sanuk Jaahd

Age: 10,758 Human Years

Sex: Unknown( Assume Female )

Species Talium

Homeworld: Talieed

Sexuality: Hetero-Sexual

Relationship Status: None

Colorations of Skin- Aquamarine with slightly amber tones of the skin with blue eyes

Personality: A quiet observer by most means as she enjoys learning through sounds and eavesdropping, as a proper Ruler would do. She can have fun, likes to laugh and tell some jokes but most are in her language which doesnt sound very appealing to many others who are not of her race. In short summery, she is a Princess...not a Drunkard...

Description:The Talieed people are completely aquatic beings though they are capable of dwelling on land. Their skin is the same consistency of fish scales and is always wet and slippery when grabbed except for around their hands which have suckers on them much like a common octopus or squid. They have no set of lungs and require a special breather to cycle water over their scales and to cover their noses and mouths so they can breath normally. Their arms and legs both utilize harden fins that have the same density as Dragon Scales, making them their primary defensive measure while they rely on their weapons for their offensive abilities. They have feet with small flippers on the ends but can split into three webbed toes and have five fingers on each hand. Their eyes have twin membranes to allow for normal sight on land as well is underwater and have coloration of blue to topaz with a chameleon effect to help blend into scenery and evade predators

Because of their world being a much denser gravity, they are significantly lighter then most of the Earth Bound races and have the capability of moving through the air as they would in water using their own telekinetic abilities. It helps them to better acclimate to a new environment much more efficiently

Home-world Description: This alien's Home-world is Ninety Nine point Nine Nine percent Water with magnificent underwater trenches, coral reefs and major metropolises built underneath the waves. The Upper atmosphere is chaotic in nature that often produces very violent storms and has been known to be highly unstable. Their is but one single Island on the Planet that holds one shelter and is viewed as a holy ground for their people. The denizens often go to this Island to pay respects to their fallen brethren and their God Kalihira, Goddess of the Inscrutable Depths.

Because of these circumstances, their world is both beautiful and deadly though they have since mastered the arts of space travel through specially designed ships built completely submerged underwater and holds all of it's water through special tanks and other such means. Their planet is currently located in the Andromeda Galaxy and they are capable of Trans-Galactic flight

Travel: Their ships are roughly the shape of large whales that are fully capable of moving on their own. Infact, they are so lifelike in appearance, they could be considered alive as a direct result of their planning and construction. The ship has over two hundred decks and is over 190 meters long with each ship being equipped with their model of a Trans-Galactic Drive or a TGD for short. Their weapons are some of the best in their galaxy consisting mostly of Light based technology as they can channel the power of the Sun through their ships via Solar collectors located on the ship's main hulls. These blasts, combined with Ship-Ship Missiles and Mines makes for a deadly confrontation as their armor plating is significantly higher then normal as to keep water within their ship.

Sanuk currently owns One such vessel named the Kamikra...but can call for many more as she is the Heiress to the Royal Family on her Home-world

Weapons: Personal weapons mostly include Light Based projectiles, Electro-Magnetic Abilities and Telekinesis but hardly do they ever stoop to such means of fighting as they like to use hand to hand combat as their primary weapons of choice, their fins being hardened to the point that they are.

((History to be rped out))

A thing shot ahead of him, a somewhat humanoid figure that nearly blipped out of existance. The being was curious...but I didnt stay long enough to remain stationary. It swam as if it had lived it's life in the waters of a different home...

Finally the being stopped and stared face to face with the being before her, to which she smiled. It was a strange female humanoid with large and beautiful fins on her arms and legs, her fingers webbed and her feet long like a flipper. Her head tilted and she opened her mouth to speak

"Eez mah juur nalik maahad?" She asked him, swimming closer towards him and blinked two sets of membranious eyes, as if watching him for a response

She backed away a little and looked at his hand, then her own and slowly formed the same signal before holding out a necklace of what appeared to be sea shells, demonstration to put it around his neck

"A te Imados...Imados" She said, making the same gestures over and over again with the necklace before holding it out again "A yuz ma a tet. Hudara Kaliada Sanuk Jaahd" She said, bowing low in a regal manner, still holding out the necklace

"Neya neya..." She said, shaking her head and waving her hands back and forth then swam closer, placing a hand on his chest first then slowly put the necklace around his neck and tapped the shell with her thumb.

At once, a holographic interface opened on her side as she spoke "A yuz ma a tet. Hudara Kaliada Sanuk Jaahd" She said into it as the screen appeared on his side with a written translation of her words which read

"Greetings friend of the Deeps. I am Princess Sanuuk Jaahd" She then smiled and gestured for him to use the necklace

She lifted a hand back, curious about the gesture as she looked back to her own hand "Ammateiv? Fur ges sti matat ensuet temp" She said with a little of a wary tone of voice as the necklace translated her words to display the text for him to read

"What? Do you wish to dishonor my House by engaging in Fornification?" The text read as she looked a little at him in disgust. Clearly there was a divide in cultures here that Sanuk was still unable to learn yet

"Matiasen" She said curtly and began to swim upwards rapidly, her glistening fins shining like a diamond under the sunlight as she surfaced above the waves

"Follow" Came the text to her words on the Display as Sanuk crawled onto a small sand dune and sat with arms crossed and a stern face. She still did not understand it was a greeting it would seem

"Squid? Geneba paachtit Squid?" She ask him and pointed at him with a scowl "Duraba nerzul maahad ENSUET TEMP!!" She said and hmphed, turning her head away from him in a pompus manner "Nazztit"

"Squid? What is a Squid? Does a Squid wish to Fornicate with me? I disapprove" Said the text as she turned an eye back to him, not even caring she was without any form of clothes "Nashtat"

"Apologies...Beg for forgiveness"

She turned her head back towards him and huffed a little "Sanuk Jaahd, Kaliaad A Gurugah Pelagosa Krass" She said and turned to face him again with a heavy sigh, her hand going to her leg to rub it softly

"Am a suur rolad mansiev. Suur me a tur urva makorva"

"Sanuk Jaahd, Daughter of the House Pelagosa. Many wish to fornicate with me...it is the way of things. You do not understand" The text then said, clearly she was royalty to say the least

"Suzatec...mezagotara a miev" She said, putting a hand to her stomach gently and laid back softly in the sand and rubbed her stomach some more before speaking again "Ne'ez a maye neratova belana. Yu'uz me dore avelantil gorsasani nekit po'or velandana"

"Yes...but sometimes it is not so easy to say no. We from Talieed live to grow and learn for we have many children, all of whom wish to learn and thrive. Parents make hard sacrifices..to ensure the young live" came the text infront of him as she sighed again

She tapped her chin slowly as if in deep thought for a moment before looking back at him with a giggle "Pa'av net tet, oki makara detana. A I a pa tuve, huzakira muntaba precika tronatos. A iv ferkunda me doravi" She said and laughed a little more at her own words before the screen translated

"On my world, the word Tentacle often is used by young males to describe their sexual prowess...females, when conjoined with males, produce anywhere from fifty to one hundred and fifty children at each laying. A 'tentacle' grows with each successful mating season, proving strength"

"Ahh the splendor of Talieed...its entire surface is ocean, deep and blue with many forms of wonderous life. Talieed is...paradise. Yes it is impressive to say the least. A worthy male to be sure" came the translation as she looked at the sun with a frown

Quiet...eerily so with the holidays in full swing. The Spaceport, usually so bustling with traffic of all manner of life was silent save for the work crews, the staff and the very occasional traveler to roam through. Outside was docked a large ship that seemed almost like a huge whale. It sat upon the docking tube of the station and almost cast a shadow on the station. Nearby, a Talieed female stepped from the ship with a sigh. She was expecting a flood of new people and new beings, but alas it was not meant to be this morning. It had been a while since she returned to this planet so it should prove to be a very interesting evening to be sure.

Sanuk's form was properly clothed in a simple gown of aquamarine color, jewels adorned around her neck and her rebreather mask over her mouth and nose as well as her gills which were on the side of her neck. The Royal Family insignia flashed on her chest as she walked before stopping by a large fountain within the center of the facility. She nodded gently before speaking in her native tongue and went to sit in the fountain, as if she was waiting for something new and interesting to come here way.

A new place but a not so different time with many opportunities and few errors, Arden Maximoff stared hard and long at the current paper before him. The young nobles eyes glances through the pages just to look up past the sprawling words at the newcomer before him. Her wear suggested wealth but the gems around her neck truly caught his interest and it was due to the possible properties that they might have carried.

"Excuse me miss." Arden spoke up a bit as he set aside his newspaper and began to dust himself off as he rose from his seat. He took up what appeared to be a rather exotic cane of coral and red stones that appeared to be rubies only to make his way over to her and offer a warm smile and bowed to her in a rather gentlemanly manner. "I'm Arden, Arden Maximoff, and I could not help but notice that you are sitting here alone in an area that not only requires you to have company but also begs the question as to what it is you are hoping to seek in such a place?" Arden smiled only to lean on his cane a bit just to then look down the other end of the space port only to realize how empty the place truly had become. "I could understand if one was here for business of some kind but you appearance is more regal than formal and is nothing but sensual when it comes down to looks."

The being's attention raised as she seemed to have a small smile on her face and a small device in her hand. On it were several different sigils and symbols on it with four arms pointing to four of them at once. She clicked the device and set it back into the water as she leaned back "Right on time..." She said, her accent very heavy with an accent akin to Jamaican of sorts. Through the speakers on her re-breather, she would then speak again "This place is often a hub of inter-galactic travel and so I come to watch. With the human festivities known as Christmas, this place is rather quiet. From what I hear, its a religious holiday worshiping the one known as The White Christ. How interesting..." She said while standing up from the fountain and extended a wet, scaly hand towards the man

"I am Princess Sanuk Jaahd of Talieed, Heiress to the Throne of the Royal Family of Talieed. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Mr. Arden Maximoff. This place is always one to garner attention and company. So I thought why not spend some time here before returning to my vessel...what brings you here to this empty hub of transportation? A ship to catch?"

"Well I do not wish to make you feel silly but the people of Terra do not just celebrate Christmas for there are many other traditions and beliefs in this cultural melting pot of a society." Arden took Sanuk's hand and continued to smile. "Furthermore I would suggest some light reading over the people before we discuss a bit more on the topic of holidays. Might I take a seat next to you?" The question was thrown up into the air but regardless of an answer Arden found a spot to sit down only to rub his leg a bit and prop his cane against himself.

"I am sure the pleasure is all mine but as for myself and the reason to my being here it would seem I was just lounging around. In truth my ship is not near this location nor would this established facility be able to facilitate my vessel. Besides my own discretion I find myself here on this planet for business and to get a better understanding I suppose."

"Reading...my vessel is full of data and files regarding the uses and cultural pots of these various cultures. Most worship the White Christ, others believe in being with family and buying various material goods to give to their young and family members. A silly thing as material wealth and goods doesn't mean much in the real family dynamic" She shrugged gently and motioned for the bench he now sat upon "Be my guest...and what business is this? From the looks of you, id say you were some sort of...of..." She said, tapping her hand gently against the stone of the fountain she sat in

"Forgive me...while I have been learning the language you speak, some words escape me. What kind of profession are you in? Also my ship is rather large...why cant yours dock here?" She asked him with some curiosity in her voice

Arden dismissed what was said over her knowledge of the subject as she was not wrong in the matter but even so he would never go to far as to correct someone on all forms of social morays and norms. "Forgive me. I had just assumed there would not be any kind of language gap between us. In short I suppose I have an interest in gems and my market in purely in the form of metals and mineral wealth that the planet has to offer." Arden began to reach into his inner pocket of his jacket just to pull out a small and rather strange looking opal with its surface scribed with all kinds of strange markings.

When Arden rubbed his thumb along the top half of the gem it began to come to life and glow revealing a spectral image of a galleon whose surface was clear and almost appeared to be made of glass along with a ring of fire that surrounded the entire thing. "As for my ship what you see before you is just a representation of it. She is in fact stationed in a harbor fourteen some odd miles away in a secluded area were my crew is taking stock as we speak." As quickly as the image came it vanished with another pass of Arden's thumb. "Besides I would rather not deal with customs over a few trifle additions to my stocks."

Sanuk made a look of being impressed by the gem while crossing her arms over her chest, her fingers drumming on her scales "Why would you be afraid of such a thing? Unless you have something worth hiding in your holds. But I wont say anything...much of my holds are full of plants, animals, minerals and enough water to drown this station and send it into the planet" she shrugged gently while stepping out of the fountain and rung out her hair with her hands

"Gemstones are a good business as they tend to not lose value over time. You said you liked mine?" She said while showing him the necklace around her neck, The gems inside of it were various pearls and gold with a huge Ruby inlaid at the bottom of the necklace. It sparked and shimmered in the light of the station and seemed to hum with a resonating power of it's own. "It is the Gem of my family, its crest if you will. I love it to no end and it shows the love my father holds for me"

Arden sat and listened only to then raised a perplexed brow and smiled. "We all hold many secrets. One unfortunately is that I never said anything of the sort about that necklace of yours. Though I will not deny the beauty of its craftsmanship." If there was anything of real interest then it was the fact that to acquire such a thing from this woman would almost be impossible but not unheard of. "Tell me something if you would be so kind. Why is it that so many people allow keys to be the symbol for such important families?"

Sanuk just smiled as she looked towards the vessel docked near the end of the reach, though she kept the man in her sights "It is a strange thing to make such things the symbols of a Family. But I suppose it could be summarized by this statement" She ahem-ed a little while turning back towards the man with her hands behind her back. She raised her head up a little as she tapped her wrist once behind her back

"Keys are often the means of unlocking truths and experiences. There are many locks in this universe, many doors sealed by tumblers and locks. Keys open more then doors as well, they open hearts, minds, voices and souls. Kalihira granted my family the Key to the hearts and minds of my people when the Darkness settled upon the surface world of my home. The gems that rained from the heavens were treasures by my people. But most, if not all, have been traded away" She said with a smile

As she was talking, two figures had moved relatively close to their positions. Their bodies thick with muscle and golden body armor, twin blades attached to their hips made of a sharpish looking coral and two helms on their heads. Both sets of eyes from the two watched their Princess and the man with whom she spoke. They wouldn't attack unless they felt their Princess's life was being in jeopardy.

With a quick hand Arden took up his cane and pointed the handle towards Sanuk just to mutter a few words sending sparks of arcane energy around the two creating what appeared to be a small distortion in the space between them. "Yes and like I was thinking that necklace of yours, those gems, are a key of sorts. Deep within the rift before us is a set of unique and interesting opportunities that allow for either party to take something. For example..." Arden reached inside and produced a strange looking card with an image of a diamond encrusted with gold dust upon its surface. His face began to brighten as the rift closed shut and with seconds later he offered the card that housed his information and contacts on it. "I am sure that royalty could always use a bit of extra financial sources and I am sure that on your world there are riches beyond our beliefs. The only thing I wish to know is will you accept my offer and allow me to create opportunities for your people and allow your economy to bloom even further? My business is gems and mineral resources and judging from what I can already tell your world is bound to have riches worth looking into."

Sanuk just smiled again, even by the somewhat hostile actions the man was taking but then shook her head slowly back and forth, an electrical field formed around her front as she gave him a polite bow "I am sorry but that is not under my jurisdiction. I am Princess, not Monarch. Besides...I doubt you have the capability of traveling so far as to reach my home world nor survive in it. Despite how tempting your offer is for my people, the spell you used from your cane says otherwise. Those two men were a part of my Honor Guard. It is their duty to maintain a vigil over the Royal Bloodline and ensure it's safety...and I don't think that spells well for your business deals with my people" She said while taking three steps back, keeping him in front of her

The Honor Guard moved closer to their Princess and stood behind her and spoke aloud "Aahmentiev...DORAZ" one of the guards said before she shook her head "Kalista no'or vaz tida" She said, the electrical field around her intensifying somewhat, though this was purely a defensive countermeasure if things went south. She had to be prepared after all...

"I must decline on this offer Arden...i am sorry to deny a business transaction. It is not my place to say...plain and simple"

Arden simply stood and with a court bow he left the card before her just to smile and glance at the guard. It had been far to long sense he had to defend himself against any kind of royal guard, last time did not bode so well, and he also doubted that anything he would throw at them would be more dangerous than what he himself aloud by his personal set of rules. "Then at least keep my card for when you do come into power. It is always a good idea to keep healthy business relations even if you get to them four or so many more years down the road."

With that all said and done he simply tipped his hat to the woman and began to be on his way as there were other things that acquired his attention at the moment. One of which was an old contact he had in the city.

A single member of the Crimson Family entered the spaceport. Around him were countless faces of people coming and going from various sections of the spaceport. He knew getting past security wasn't needed as he was ordered to come here at the busiest time of the day. He flipped the handle on his briefcase and it folded into an automatic rifle and was much bigger than those of his brothers. A woman was the first to notice him and as she pointed to shout the roar of his rifle cut her off. The people nearest to him exploded as he fired in wide arcs through the panicking crowd. He crossed the room, butchered his way towards the baggage claim where another member of the Crimson Family waited and joined him with a smaller briefcase rifle. They wasted no time keeping after the crowd that fled in every direction away from them.
