"You've chosen a rather...interesting spot to stop, Realm Jumper."

The voice was gentle and soothing, and ethereal as well; whispering in and out of existence with each word. It belonged to a young man; he paradoxically had every accent, and yet no accent whatsoever in his voice. The tones shifting and moving witch each syllable in a way that was appealing to the ear; one that made it impossible not to hear, and by extension: listen.

Wherever Sarah found herself, she'd sense a simple presence behind her. Like that of a doll; perhaps one she used to play with as a young girl, or something similar. However upon turning, there would be nothing, should she decide to turn. The feeling would always be just behind her, however.

"I'm afraid that this realm will be harder to sway to your will."

Finally she'd be able to see him; his voice, silky smooth and with a hint of brotherly playfulness, was now solid, as was his form. He stood tall and lanky, but at the same time filled out, and strong. His light skin was flawless as if made of dyed Porcelain, and his hair was an unnatural blue. His eyes were darker still, almost a purple, with their pupils replaced by what appeared to be a classic Spiral galaxy, each eye glowing dimly. Around his flawless neck was a choker necklace with a small pendant also in the shape of a Galaxy; the core of which seemed to exude an unparalleled life force and power.

"So tell me. What brings you to Terra?"

The world of Terra, a planet similar to the Realm Jumper's home. Of course, before it was lost to the destructive nature of war. Terra was a planet which naturally drew the attention to the Realm Jumper, drawing the need for a home back from her nomadic nature, bringing forth the human instinct of bragging. This realm, the realm of the Multiverse was something different, chaotic yet orderly, peaceful yet filled with war. A perfect place to provide sanctuary to the great beings of the past, a way to start again, to right mistakes. To play.

A small, human-sized wormhole suddenly appeared above the ground, the other end perfectly visible to show the remains of what used to be the terraformed Mars. From the wormhole emerged Sarah, dressed in her usual attire of the World Jumper's gear, an armour of such human perfection that there was no need to change it. Her goal was quite simple; to scout out the destination of the next traveller, saving them from the destruction of what used to be the galaxy of Shekvrak. However, upon her arrival, a voice sounded from what seemed to be behind her, it couldn't be from beyond the wormhole for it had closed as soon as she set foot in this realm. However, the source could not be seen, even with the visor of the World Jumpers; a device designed to bring the invisible into visibility, to see anything within a local range. Yet how could she not see this?

Finally, the source appeared before her. A figure easily labelled as humanoid, yet something that was not human, it took a simple thought to understand them to be native to this realm. Yet what is with these statements? Sarah had visited a large number of the countless realms, she had witnessed the inhabitants of the first ever realm and the destructions of many others, some of which was caused by her own actions. What would make the Multiverse different?

"I'm just taking in the scenery, no matter how hard working one may be, a rest is needed." She answered, a pure smile worn across her pale face, her deep blue eyes seeming to glow from behind the silky white hair which calmly floated with the soft breeze of the Terran atmosphere. "What brings you to me?"

Brian's expression was blank as she spoke. He seemed to stare through her, and into her very soul, into the very fiber of her being. However the Sibling-like familiarity and playfulness remained in his voice. "You ask a simple question; one that requires no pre-planning to answer." he said almost immediately after her voice ended. His hands clapped together once, covered by white gloves.

His manner of dress was something out of a movie; with a formal suit and shirt, however he lacked a vest and tie, preferring instead to expose his neck with the top two buttons of his shirt undone.

"I come to you to welcome you to the Multiverse. To congratulate you upon the discovery of bending Space to your whim and using it to transport from realm to realm. To warn you of the dangers it poses to your life now that you are inter-dimensional."

A small smiled now appeared on his face. "Unless of course you already know of the dangers of having such power." Nothing he said had any sort of meaning, and yet at the same time it held the weight of every dimension she'd been to since the discovery of her wormhole generator.

His eyes closed and opened slowly and within the span of that blink, he was sitting on a rather relaxing lounge chair. Beside Sarah had appeared one similar, an ice-cold glass of water in the cup-holder should she decide to take it.

There was something about this man which simply annoyed Sarah, one could say he was one of those people who is naturally hated from just a first glance. It was a simple instinct, a concept which weighed Sarah down from the status of a goddess, leaving her to be human. The instinct, of course, was human aggression, naturally sensing the threat of the man who stood before her; leading to the development of aggression as a form to protect her own existence. Of course, another reason for this sudden hatred could be the way he spoke, as if talking down to the ageless woman as if she had just started jumping realms. What does he know?

"You're right, there is a large danger looming above me at all times. After all, using wormholes alone can break you, mentally more than physically. I've witnessed a fellow Jumper fall into the curses of psychosis from this." She replied, ignoring the disgusting name she was called; inter-dimensional. "There's no need to congratulate me," she continued, refusing to sit in the chair that appeared beside her, "I'm just doing my job. Besides..."

"Who are you?"

Job?

An eyebrow was raised as he crossed his legs at the ankles as he sat in the chair. He sensed the aggression welling inside her but did nothing about it. She couldn't hurt him, even if she tried. Not truly. "Who am I?" he paused for a moment, and for a second, his eyes shifted away from her and stared off into the distance. She had every opportunity to leave at that moment, he wouldn't stop her; it wasn't that he couldn't, but if she chose to leave, he didn't care either way. Finally his eyes returned to her figure.

"It matters not who I am. For I am not really a who to begin with." he answered calmly. He took the glass of water he had in his chair and took a sip, setting it down again quietly as he swallowed the cool liquid. Idly he gestured for her to sit in the identical chair that had appeared beside her, but again, cared not if she sat or not.

"For what I am is I think is much less interesting than who you are, I think."

He said nothing more of the dangers of inter-dimensional travel; sensing the hostility that flared up upon brushing on the subject with mere words. He spoke not as one who knew of such things, but of one who simply was such a thing. Which for many was very difficult to understand. And insufferably uneasy on one's mind if they were not prepared for it.

This man was truly a being of pure cockiness, it was simple to estimate what he was just from a few thoughts. He knew Sarah was a Realm Jumper, he's aware of the dangers of the realms. Of course, that means he can do the same, the way these chairs appeared without a hint of transport means this man has more of a mastery than one could guess, or there was something more. There was no way he was an Ancient, she would easily know if he were, and there's no sign of a device. Does he naturally hold this power?

Sarah chuckled a little at the man's words, he was dodging the question, he refuses to state who or what he is. But expects Sarah to give her own identity? This man is too insulting to even deal with. "How do you know of my status?" She demanded, completely refusing to answer anything, only expecting answers. "And how did you know where I was?"

Another eyebrow raise. Snippy, this one. Finally expression: A smirk, followed by a chuckle as he took a drink.

"Ah, now you're getting the questions out that matter. The questions everyone asks me." he finally stood. He snapped his fingers, and the area went black. Dots of white light twinkled into view with every passing second.

"This is where I keep track of ever spacial distortion. Every wormhole, every warp, every FTL jump, every teleportation. This is The Multiverse alone; and within it, spans almost every conceivable universe. Including yours. I have been tasked with watching everything for the last few thousand years." he said calmly, staring at her.

"My ....father, has watched for most of existence now, and is even now watching, and waiting. Waiting for something to go wrong so he may correct it."

The darkness fell away and they were back where Sarah had appeared. "Any other demands, Jumper?" he asked, his charade of cordiality dropped, and a tone of brotherly annoyance taking hold of his voice now.

Ah, he was tasked with the duty of watching over everything. This definitely proves he wasn't an Ancient, but perhaps he was in contact with the ancients. That would make sense, since they had tasked Sarah of saving beings of interest before their deaths, a way to allow more research to be made on the nature of life. Foolish scientists they were indeed. But that didn't matter, she was brought into existence by their own experiment, so she might as well make use of it.

The sudden change of the surroundings made no difference to Sarah's composure, she even instantly recognised her native realm as soon as it appeared. After all, she had been introduced to this plane before, pushed forward in time to show the destruction of her galaxy as proof that she had to save the inhabitants, bring them to the multiverse due to it's sheer size as a collection of realms.

"You ever contacted the Ancients?" Sarah asked, crossing her arms as she shifted her weight onto one leg, the excessive rounds which hung from her chestpiece and kilt clattered together with this movement.

Ancients? That could mean any number of things. It could mean his "father" the God of Space itself, or his "aunt" who controlled Time, or his "Uncle"-Chaos/Destruction. His eyebrows furrowed at the question as he slowly worked out the meaning of her question. In her realm, ancients could be very different beings altogether.

Aware of this, he opened his mouth to speak. "If by Ancients, you mean the Gods that monitor and control the Multiverse, then yes. If by Ancients, you mean the beings who created your technology in your realm, then no." He went on.

"By my definition, my "father" created me to watch over the realms some time ago; he himself has been God and Guardian of the realm of Space itself since the beginning of Creation as many of us know it." he explained calmly, sitting again in one of the chairs that had appeared in the area where Sarah had first appeared.

"What definition do you use to define "Ancients"?" he asked in return after taking another sip of water.

Fool, this man is a fool. For him to simple ask what Sarah meant by 'Ancient', it obviously means he's never met one. What an idiotic moment to believe that this person could be of some significance, he's just another one of those self-proclaimed gods which bully those into submission with their petty powers. It's almost something you'd feel sorry for. With all these thoughts running through her head, Sarah gave off a small smirk, breaking her serious character; thus forcing her to turn away, covering her mouth as her body quivered in the act of suppressing laughter.

However, almost instantaneous, Sarah reached her usual composure and turned back, "No, I am not talking about those ants that believe themselves to be of power." She replied, crossing her arms once again as she cocked her head to the side, looking down on the man before her, "I'm talking about the real deal, the creators of all of existence. The ones who brought these 'gods' into existence, the Multiverse, the realms, everything."

Normally he'd speak out against such disrespect of his father, but not knowing what she was completely capable of, nor particularly caring at the moment, he let her speak and nodded along, sipping along at his water. "Then, no. As you can guess by that giggle of yours." he said calmly.

He then proceeded to float upwards. "Now then; I suppose I have ignored you quite enough." the chairs and glasses of water had vanished, and behind him the air began to ripple as if it were the surface of a placid lake disturbed by the throwing of a stone. Silently the portal opened, nothing but blackness to be seen until a Spiral galaxy appeared in its place.

"Unless you have one last question; I will take my leave." he said, beginning to float backwards into the portal.

There was no surprise in the appearance of the portal, after all, this man knew a lot about inter dimensional travel, and of course; referred to Sarah as 'jumper'. Perhaps word of her existence spread through the realms faster than she thought, kind of brings back the times where she was feared as a galaxy eater due to word of her destroying a realm. Then again, there were other realms that worshipped Sarah as a god, even though she had nothing to do with anything.

As the man slowly floated towards the portal, a small smirk of confidence appeared across Sarah's face. A wormhole opened behind her at the same time, giving the view of Wing City on the other side. "I have but one more thing to say:" Sarah started, turning around as she did so, "May the next time we meet be not just fellow inter dimensional nomads," She continued, slowly stepping through the wormhole only to look over her shoulder once more. The deep blue eyes glared back at the man, a smirk across one side of her mouth, there was some kind of merciless aura among these next words; as if they were the words of a murderer, no, the apocalypse.

"But as rivals." These words were carried ominously among a small breeze until the source had disappeared behind the closed wormhole.

James ran out from inside the bar, frantically searching for his acquaintance in the process. There seemed to be a sign of emergency in his facial expression as his head whipped side to side, struggling to find the one man in such a large crowd. Suddenly, the smell of smoke grabbed his attention, didn't Russian smoke? That's right, he must be nearby with such a fresh smell of smoke. But what he didn't realise was that Russian was standing nearby the entrance all along, the rushing James had simply run past him several times.

"Ah, Russian. I couldn't find that icon you said so here's the tablet thing." James started, handing the device back to his native friend in the process. A sudden point of realisation pulsed across James' face as he remembered the real reason why he was in a rush. "AH! I saw the bitch that threw me into this place! I recognised the armour, she had white hair, or something. She left before I could do anything, do you see anyone?" His words were spoken fast, stilling slowly spinning around on the spot as he kept a look out for this one person.

Meanwhile, as James shouted over the myriad of conversations going on in the main street, Sarah calmly walked through; ignoring the strange glances she received as people noticed her strange armour and large amount of ammunition covering her body. It took a double glance for her to realise the recognised face within the crowds, it was definitely one of the people she threw into this realm. And they had already befriended a native, the plan must have been working again. "Ah, isn't that the obnoxious idiot I transported?" She muttered to herself, slowing her pace in the meantime.

As Russian was thinking in his tipsy state, he heard James call out to him and handed him his device since he could not find the button. But what he said next was what caused him to sober right up, and that was that he located the person sent him to this place. So shes in the area, I have not seen someone in the area that looks like that, however I can help locate her." He spoke and snapped his device back on his arm and after pressing a myriad of buttons a drone would warp right in front of them.

Russian began to press more buttons and had the drones feed displayed on his drone. I can search in the air while you search on the ground." He spoke as the drone flew into the air and scanned the crowd of people. Someone with white hair and armor in a crowd of unarmed civilians, she should be very easy to spot so it was just a matter of time. until they found her.

James nodded to Russian's idea, quickly running off into the crowds on the search for this single individual. It would be hard to find someone in all these crowds, but that drone would be a great help when finding such a woman. Even if James ran straight past her, the drone would definitely let him know. These thoughts kept echoing through James' mind, giving him the motivation to keep searching, asking lone individuals if they had seen a woman with such a description. Sadly, they all have declined knowledge.

Suddenly, a small pop of a silenced firearm was picked up by the MechAr which quickly equipped itself over James' head once more. The inner screens gave a small map which was developed from the information extracted from Russian's device, pointing him in the direction of the sound. It could just be some annoying thugs mugging some civilian, or it could be someone of interest. Either way, with the majority of the crowds being unarmed, there's a high chance it could be the woman.

Sarah lowered her assault rifle from pointing towards the now destroyed drone, returning it to her armoured kilt where it would hang opposite to an energy sword. Blutrinium ammunition was always a dangerous form of ballistic, built as miniature blutrinium generators, this form of ammunition was volatile yet held an infinite shelf life; upon colliding with whatever was unlucky enough to be the target, the intense concentration of blutrinium energy would be released. This easily made short work of the drone that was sent to find her, but how was she aware of it's purpose?

"Looks like I'm really gonna have to get into an encounter with an obnoxious human and what seems to be an engineer." She sighed to herself, deactivating her shields which warped space time around her, bringing her existence into view. Beside Russian.

Russsian was busy searching the crowds when suddenly the drone he sent was destroyed and the feed was therefore cut out. "Takes a person with some real guts to shoot something in the air and in public...but no one is panicking so it must have been a silenced weapon." he concluded as he sighted before bringing up his device to order order yet another drone, however before he could a figure appeared right next to him and caught his attention.

Not being a fool, Russian reached into his uniform and gripped an emergency pistol he made for situations like this. It had only two rounds in it but each slug it shot was powerful enough to destroy a tank in a single shot although it was short ranged. "I'm guessing your the woman that we were looking for. So my name is Russian, and mind telling me the reason for materializing near me and not say...anywhere but here?" he spoke keeping a close eye on her, if he even so much as saw her glance at her weapon he was going to open fire.

Still looking forward, her body as still as a rock besides the light flicks of her hair in the breeze, Sarah knew exactly what Russian was thinking. Exactly what he was planning, it was a general human instinct, very common in personalities such as Russian's. That was how she had worked out the drone, the reason James had decided to stick with him, and why she needed to appear beside him. "There's a good reason for me to be here, Russian." Sarah replied, her words calm and suppressed as she watched the man from the corner of her eye. Already rushing to grab a weapon, threatening a poor little girl?

"In order to control that idiot, I need to show off strength." She continued. Suddenly, in the single blink of an eye, Sarah moved with speeds incapable of a normal human. She had taken advantage of Russian's expectations on her dependency on weapons, he was well unaware of the gem that rested on the back of her chest piece. It was as if a demon was making it's moves, wrapping it's fingers across Russian's face, a grip tight enough to leave a persistence mark before lifting the whole body off his feet.

"I need a hostage" Sarah finished, staring into Russian's eyes with a glare that could kill. A glare of someone who had cast away their humanity, ignoring the worried reactions of the crowds as they backed away from the two.

Russian was surprised at the woman's speed as she rushed up to grab him, he could not pull out his weapon in time however there was one thing he could do before he was grabbed. And that was to say two words. "Fuck me..." He was then grabbed by the head and lifted up. The people saw what was going on and quickly backed away in a panic.

Once he was lifted up in the air, Russian showed no sign of panic or resistance. He was already used to grim situation like this and trying to fight back against an opponent with more power than him would be a waste of energy. Of course he always planned for things like this, unknown to her his two words had two effects. One of these effects to to summarize his situation, the other effect was a voice activation code word which would have his ship drop something depending on the word. He also came prepared with another thing but for now he would stay held in his captors hand in the literal sense.

Once the woman finished explaining that she needed a hostage for control that idiot, she stared into his eyes devoid of humanity. He stared back unfazed by the situation. If this was her way of intimidation, then it was clearly not working on him. He had been through much worse than this, so he had to reason to panic or fear her even though his life was clearly on the line.

The man's lack of a reaction hit Sarah hard, this idiot really is trying to hold back the look of fear. Knowing his personality, it's possible there's some trick under his sleeve, then again, he could've tried a sneaky shot with his little backup weapon. Was there something else? There can't be any communications with James, she would know if there was, and that fake shot in the opposite direction she had set up would easily grab his attention so she could get to dealing with Russian in peace. Although, the reactions of the crowds wasn't helping.

"How boring, you aren't reacting nicely." Sarah spoke up, giving a fake smile of amusement while keeping her glare on point, "How about you resist? For me?" As soon as this rhetorical question was asked, Sarah pushed Russian's head into the ground with a force large enough to crack the ground beneath him. A look of annoyance spread across Sarah's face as she gritted her teeth through a smile, her eyes as wide as a victim of war; "How about you give me a fight to remember?"

Russian grunted in pain as he was pushed headfirst into the ground. He could feel blood on his head although it was nothing major, it would just ruin his favorite cap...his favorite cap! That thing was expensive as hell to clean and here he was getting trashed by this woman. He was now pissed, his uniform was slightly damaged as his cap was getting soaked with blood. "You want a fight?" He started just as one of his mech suits landed a few feet away, crushing the pavement underneath. He then pressed a floating icon on his device and teliported inside the mech suit and activated all systems with a push of the button.

"Then you got a fight..." Russian called out as he armed himself with an assault rifle with bayonet attachment. The mech suit was just a few inches larger than him, equipped with shielding, hidden weapon systems, and most of all large ordinance grade weaponry stored inside the machine. "You are gonna pay for messing me up! So get ready because your guide here is gonna give you a free ticket to the morgue, no expenses included!" he then initiated his attack by opening fire with his assult rifle, spewing off .65 caliber rounds capable of punching through tanks, he was a fan of the bolt action but in this situation he wanted some major firepower.

Once Russian began shooting, the crowd around them immediately dispersed screaming in terror.
