Sariel was one of the great and mighty archangels. Sariel means Command of God, Commandment of God, or God's Angelic Commander. Similar to his angelic brothers Michael and Raphael, the archangel Sariel was a princely angel, as well as a great healer. He was one of the great and benevolent angels of death, which guide departed souls through the afterlife or spiritual world.
During the civil war in Heavan, Sariel had become dishearted with the fact that god had abondoned his children, so he had joined Azazel in his fight for a new hierarchy. During the battle he fought his divine brother Michael and by a very small margin, took the advantage in battle. Instead of taking the killing blow, he hesitated and was wounded above his heart and cast out of Heavan.
Sariel now serve Azuzel in hell as his chief captain of the Hordes of Hell.
