Personality

Sayu is a happy-go-lucky kinda person, who occasionally enjoys playing tricks on people or teasing them, much to the chagrin of her young master, who is sometimes herself the target of Sayu's mischief. Though, for some reason, Sayu doesn't like it when other people poke fun at her master. Another thing, she always refers to herself in third person and often starts at least one of her sentences with her name. (i.e., "Sayu thinks we might be stuck in this world for a while.")

Likes: Her master(she teases her because they're friends), gossip, and observing human behavior.

Dislikes: Being called “shorty” or “short stuff”, meat (she's supposedly a vegetarian), and when other people make fun of her master.

Hobbies: Making jokes, pulling pranks, and teasing people.

Sexuality: Straight, I guess.

Relationship Status: Single, but uninterested.

Equipment

Weapon: Crimson Gimicks. (Wpn. Type: Footwear.)

Abilities:

Trick N Kick: Makes a small spike come out of a hidden compartment in one of her shoes, and kicks the opponent.

Sayu's Potion Bomb: Throws an explosive potion at the opponent, releasing smoke which limits their range of vision. Useful for escape plans.

Double Trouble: Makes a pair of spikes come out of hidden compartments in both her shoes, and attempts to kick the opponent twice.

Sayu Flurry: Punches and kicks the enemy repeatedly, like most of her attacks, it's better used to annoy or distract the enemy, rather than to actually cause any noticeable damage to them.

Not much is known about Sayu's past before she was chosen as Matoya's familiar.

A young witch wandered into the woods, her impish familiar not far behind. Perhaps she had come to gather mushrooms and other ingredients for potions and such. As she roamed around one area of the woods, picking out the mushrooms and herbs she could find, she seemed to have not yet noticed the man she had met at the bar that was now closed, who seemed to be doing target practice on a few of the trees and other inanimate things. "Hmm...I still need a few more for my research." the witch frowned, looking at her barely filled basket of potential potion ingredients.

"Sayu thinks we're not having very much luck here." the red-haired Imp girl replied. "Maybe we should try somewhere else."

"Oh, hi mister...Jericho, was it?" the witch replied, extending an arm for a handshake. She knew nothing of the other group that was discussing something of their own elsewhere in the woods. "Did you happen to come across my friend I asked you about yet?" she asked, wondering if Jericho had seen her friend, Lorelai, anywhere recently.

Sayu too, was unaware of the others' presence. Not that it mattered to her too much, since they probably weren't anybody she or her master knew. "Sayu thinks that was a pretty lame joke, Mr. Jericho." the imp said, thinking the man was trying to be funny by saying 'Well there's some familiar faces', since she was the young witch's familiar.

"Joke?" Jericho asked the imp curiously."No, I haven't seen him. But I have been keeping an eye out for the man. Don't worry I'll keep looking." His lower arms crossed themselves as he watched the girl and her familiar."I mean, don't get me wrong, you can probably handle anything that comes along, but why here?"

"18 isn't that young. And I am a witch, I could probably handle myself if anything or anyone were to threaten me." Matoya replied to the man who had robotic arms in addition to his normal ones. "But, I came here to look for some unique herbs and mushrooms that only grow in these woods. I figure they might help further my magic studies."

A young, silver-haired woman wandered into the town of eternal shade, Verinotte Hollow. She was not just an ordinary teenager though, she was a witch. This fact was made fairly obvious by her attire which consisted of a short dress with blue and yellow stripes, and detached sleeves, as well as a pair of blue boots, and the signature steepled hat.

Accompanying the witch was a tiny, semi-humanoid being with bat-like wings. The red-haired imp flapped her wings and hovered after her master. "Sayu is tired, are we here to find a place to sleep? Please tell me that's why we're here. Sayu could really go for a nice, comfy nap right now." the imp girl said to the witch, referring to herself in third person.

Wandering out from among the trees, were two figures. Both feminine, though one was much smaller than the other and well...winged and floating. The human however, seemed to be no ordinary teenage girl, as made clear by her attire and the wooden staff she carried. Hanging down by straps on her right shoulder, was a medium-sized pouch, which may have held perhaps a book of some sort and a few other objects. Perhaps she had come here in search of magically attuned herbs, mushrooms, flowers, and such for her research. She was after all, not a full-fledged witch yet, but rather an apprentice or an 'acolyte' as some might say.

"Sayu thinks it's about time. Why didn't you confess your feelings towards that guy sooner?" Sayu teased.

"Stop it, Sayu! That's not funny! I have to warn him that the man who killed his sister might be somewhere in this world, that's all." Matoya said, annoyed by Sayu implying something about her and this 'friend' she was going to search for.
