The strategic jack-of-all-trades. Bomb about to blow? "Sera!" Car engine shot? "Sera!" Chased by the police? "Sera!"
She's quirky and quick to get a joke, but don't let that fool you--she's as cunning as a fox and won't hesitate to get what she wants. She and the techie from her team, Arch, have something going on; the group picked her up in England when she stole Arch's car keys and wallet after he took her back to his hotel room. She doesn't trust Timothy Holt (usually just known as Holt) because of an incident that happened during a job a few years back.
If you can name it, Sera carries it with her. From cutlery to post-it notes, her arsenal of supplies never fails.
NOTE: Gerald Starking, Timothy Holt, and Brice Anderson (A.K.A. the dead guy) were the original three on the team. They were together for three years before they picked up Benjamin Dobrin and Jerome Fulgard. Two years after that, the team found Archibald Nolan, and their most recent addition (only seven months after they hired Archibald) was Seraphena Bethridge. The whole team has been together for five years, but the original team was formed over ten years ago.
On Seraphena: Her life was lived as a pickpocket, a tattoo artist--anything she could do that would make her money. Until she was offered a job by the group of art thieves that seems to know how to make the perfect heist happen. Now she's whatever they need her to be; if nobody else can fit through the tight space, they send Sera in. If Holt can't think of how to do something, Sera does. She's one player you don't want on the bench.
Sera doesn't trust Holt one bit after the incident that caused them to lose Anderson.
On the Team: It's been five months since the last job went bad. They're still mourning, but Holt calls them in to do a job. Most aren't happy about it, but grudgingly, all of them comply.
