Description
Serenity outward appearance is very innocent like, she oozes this sweet nature with an almost fake smile. She stands about 5'6 with long black curls. She dresses like any self-respecting cowgirl, her boots and her hat are her most important items.
She is of a muscular build, but very well endowed...which to her is a hindrance. She is cybernetically enhanced with an unknown metal. It is weaker then Adamantium, but stronger then any other metal.
She has a pair of strange looking eyes, which may at first glance seem real, but they are interconnected with her body. They glow when she is using them in any special way. Her nose is overly sensitive to smells, and she can often pick up things from across the room. She can detect things that are off about something, like for instance if it held poison or something.
Personality
Serenity is a very sweet and outgoing person, if you remain on her good side. She turns into this cool-blooded killer if you cross her or someone she cares about.
Likes- anything sweet, fried chicken, sincere feelings, honesty.
Hates- Men that come on to strong, falseness (even her own, but she can't help it sometimes), killing for no reason, bitch'n and complaining without good reason. weakness in any woman, braggarts, fools, selfishness and most of all lairs.
She has this strong sense of honor, as well as pride as big as her heart.
Equipment
The Red Wolf- Belonged to her "father" upon his death became hers, she swore vengeance on it, and it has shed the blood of many.
The "Peacemaker"
It makes peace in a more permanent way.
Abilities
She can read auras, which give her clues as to the character behind a person. It may give her weaknesses and strengths as well but this doesn't work all the time.
She can read machine programming through her eyes, but she can't make that program do anything else then what it is programmed to do.
Alcohol and smoking don't effect her (much to her chagrin)
She aim
History
Serenity was made by her 'mother and father' her mother was a rodeo star out of Texas, and her father was a Master Swordsman from Japan. They integrated this two cultures into Serenity as she 'grew up.'
On the eve of her 21st year of existence, an old enemy appeared and killed her parents. Swearing vengeance, Serenity went on a bloody rampage killing ever last one of her father's old enemies.
Now there is a price on her head, so she moves around.
So begins...
New city, new enemies, she sighed as she looked up at the sun that stood ablaze in the sky. "Well tarnation, might as well get this over with."
From the pier, Serenity walked along main street until she found herself right smack dab in the middle of the city, "Mighty crickets, this place is huge," maybe that was a weird habit to talk to herself but she hadn't anyone else to talk to at the moment.
She stopped at looked up at the tall buildings, and sort of wondered what type of people she would cross paths with during this little adventure. She straighten the sword on her back and the gun on her belt and kept walking.
Serenity passed by the inn, and caught a whiff of something that made her stomach growl, she was hungrier then a horse. So she stepped inside and took off her hat, shaking out her curls. She found herself sitting now to far away from the other sitting there. He was a rather odd character, but she would keep her opinions to herself. She ordered a steak and some strong black coffee, and once it came began to devour it.
She found herself watching him as he walked to the rack, it made her gun-hand twitch, like she could feel he was dangerous in some way. Yet she kept both hands on the table and continued eating.
After finishing the steak, she sat drinking the coffee, it wasn't as strong as she was use to, but it will do until she could find something stronger. She brushed an absentminded curl out of her face, and pondered the situation. She needed to find a place to stay, even if it was temporary
She downed the rest of the coffee, paid for the meal, and felt a whole lot better. She stretched as she reached the outside of the inn, instead of popping her bones made a eerie clicking sound. "Now where too," she probably should have asked the waitress for a suggestion but she liked exploring.
She continued walking down main street, not really paying attention to anything in particular, she heard the name of a bar, Gambit's. It had this hotel above it and was suppose to be where the action was, but she didn't know if it was a good or not. A place like that could be crawling with bounty hunters and the like, but she walked in that direction anyways, passing the man she saw earlier in the inn. Again she felt like something was off, and yet again she choose to ignore it.
Stopping for a sec to roll a cigarette, a white handkerchief dropped to the ground, she didn't notice until it started blowing in the direction of the other. "Well shucks," Serenity wasn't one to run, well unless a bull was chasing her or something, so she started to walk fast, faster then a normal human, trying to catch the thing before it blew away forever.
She stopped and watched him jump up and catch her handkerchief before it blew away, she still had that bad feeling, but she wasn't going to let it get in the way of her manners, "Um, thanks mister, I appreciate that."
She looked at him for a second, different things coming to her mind, she took the handkerchief, folded back up and placed it back in her pocket. Her first reaction was usually hospitable, yet she couldn't quiet bring herself to do that. Her mama would be lecturing her on her manners at the moment, if she could see her now. "I am on my way to a place where they serve drinks, can I buy you something as a thank you for saving my item."
That thought about her mama made her change her mind she guessed.
She quirked her eyebrow, was that a yes or a no, she couldn't figure it out for a second when she noticed he started walking again. She didn't say anything and was following him this time.
The cowgirl walked slowly inside following the demon walking Gambit's for the first time, "well it ain't no bit house." She glanced about, not to crowded either, as she noticed a girl sitting at another table, looking like she was waiting for someone. The hat was taken off again and placed on the rack, "so mister," she said to Forza, "what's your poison."
Another quirked eyebrow, "life," yeah that gave her that bad feeling again. "Well how about a bottle of whiskey, probably not as potent, but just as bad for your health." She was trying to make a joke, and doing a rather bad job at it.
"Well take a seat, I'll be right back." She walked to the bar, and noticed no bartender around, "well this day can't get any stranger." She noticed the machine though, and scratched her head, her eyes went a different color for a second as she began reading the programming on it. "Well, I'll be hog-tied." She pushed the buttons until she found what she wanted and then joined Forza wherever he was sitting.
A minute later a robot carrying a trey served them a bottle of whiskey and two shot glasses. "Well that's a little dandy thing they got over there."
She was thinking the same thing at the moment, but it was more about him then anything else. She wasn't use to being around a man of few words, and it was starting to annoy her a little. "You aren't from around here are you." The way she asked it, she seemed to get sort of serious at the moment, but then she smiled, trying to wipe that bad feeling away. "Me neither, just got in...," she was having trouble figuring out how to have a conversation with him.
Really...well she could have figured that out, "you were once from this world, do you mean you were alive once." She didn't feel it, that spark of life from him she usually felt from others. She took the shot glass as well and poured herself a drink, wishing just for once she could get drunk from it, her body didn't quite work that way. "Yeah, don't really know what's it like to be really alive either."
How could she explain it to him, sometimes she didn't understand it herself. She pulled a knife from her boot, and pulled the blade across her hand, the cut ran deep, and whereas human blood would be red, her's was black as it dripped on the table. Inside the cut, the glint of metal could be seen, "see not alive."
She sighed as the cut began to heal rather quickly, she wiped the table up, that wasn't the usually reaction she got, "well, I will leave you the bottle, I am going to see if there is a room available upstairs. Maybe we will see you around sometime." She got up, grabbed her hat, "have a good day." She walked up the stairs out of sight.
After finding a room upstairs and one rather strange encounter with a demon, she found herself walking to the bar downstairs again, this time in need of some food. Serenity looked cautiously, she was still new enough that wind of her former exploits hadn't caught up with her. She had left her gun upstairs, kinda feeling half-naked without it, but not her sword. The hat had also been left, as her black hair hung loosely down her back. She found a seat on a bar stool and ordered supper from the machine.
She examined it closer at that point, getting a good look at it with her eyes. The programming was fascinating, if not a bit out of her league. She was going to have to learn about this technology in this place it seemed before trying to earn some kind of living.
