A mysterious woman with a pale complexion and a ghostly gaze, she is the leader of VOID, a group seeking to end strife through bringing a silence unlike any other.

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by ClockworkTowers

Description

Description
Shakaurduraug is a relatively tall woman who wears what looks like a long black robe crossed with a long-sleeved hoodie. Her right hand is always covered by a black glove, and her left hand, being robotic in design, resembles the larger pincer of a crab. Her black boots are always well-polished, and her skin always white as printing paper. Her black hair is wavy and flows to just above her elbows. In her eyes, one could see a black haze, the pupil itself being a foggy and a darker gray.

Personality
Shakaurduraug isn't too quiet by normal standards, and can hold a normal conversation to a large extent, but she enjoys lacing words with cryptic meanings, often turning towards that direction if she hasn't already. She seems reclusive and secretive overall, spilling little of anything meaningful while she talks. She does however interact with others often, for she leads a cultist group that seeks to bring Voidspace to the world, and to grow their influence, interaction is key. She disdains seeing people put in unnecessary danger.

Equipment
Left Hand: Magreeb's Claw
Shakaurduraug's left hand has been replaced by a robotic claw designed like a pincer from a crab. It got it's name from a mythical creature who also has claws like these, and are known for their impressive melee combat skills. Shakaurduraug herself is more than capable in close combat, thanks to this claw and her swift strikes

Artifact: Black Rose
A healthy and very alluring black rose. It is vibrant and retains all of it's petals. Purple lines are starting to fluctuate through it by this point, all over the petals and leaves. It seems to be very dear to her, and seems to revitalize itself when bathed in water.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Voidspace Magic - Shakaurduraug's Specialties
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Voidspace is an unknown dimension for the most part, but energy spawned from there is a direct counter to energy from the real world. When energy from Voidspace is used in the real world, it can potentially deteriorate whatever it touches.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Spell: Nullwave
Shakaurduraug fires a strong pulse of negative energy from her right hand in a cone in front of her. It also prevents magic from being used by the afflicted.

Spell: Netherchains
Shakaurduraug throws several binding chains of negative energy at one foe to try and still their movement.

Spell: Riftpulse
Shakaurduraug can create small local portals to Voidspace itself, up to a limit of four. She can then radiate pulses of negative energy around any of them.

Spell: Voidstep
Shakaurduraug accesses Voidspace for short periods of time to teleport short distances.

Spell: Nonsphere
Shakaurduraug launches forth an orb of negative energy from her right hand to potentially deteriorate by a large amount one foe.

Spell: Minus
Shakaurduraug uses negative energy to transform her right hand into a blade made entirely of said energy. The same energy can also form into a shield for defense, absorbing and nullifying everything levied against it.

So begins...

Shakaurduraug noticed the firearm and glanced to the black rose hanging from her hip. She took it and counted the petals on it before placing it in a little pocket.

In her right hand, she held it to her side, a purple and black aura of fluctuation lines (not unlike tron) manifested and stayed.

Shakaurduraug wanted to step between to stop the conflict, but even she couldn't react to the split-second timing Randin pulled off. So she strayed backwards a bit, waiting to see if actual conflict would break out.
The tree no longer bears fruit. It is pointless to quarrel over who's land it resides on.

She commented on the situation at hand.

Shakaurduraug seemed to recoil at Randin failing somewhat, her otherwise stoic demeanor temporarily faltering.

...not good...
she muttered as she checked her rose again. It was healthy as could be. Pocketing it, she stepped forwards to approach the conflicting duo. In her right hand, the negative energy and tron lines manifested themselves into a blade that replaced her hand. It was made of that energy, and was a bizarre mixture of purple and black static patterns and tron lines fluctuating around it.

As she saw blood shed, that meant that this had gone beyond a dual of honor, and so she intervened, running to stand between the two men immediately following Randin's gunshots. She showed a fierce determination as she did so.

Stand down Spartan. You've made your point, but killing is something I cannot allow.

She showed no indication of moving.

Shakaurduraug stood firm, watching warily as Alaekos walked away rather casually.

The blade that occupied her right hand now dissolved back into her usual gloved hand, but she remained wary as she tried to grab Randin's shoulder.
I can't let you pursue him. Not in your condition.

Shakaurduraug also tried to shove Snowbund away with a very surprising and very powerful strength in a glowing hand.

Do not touch him until I say so.

Shakaurduraug transformed her hand into the blade, leveling it towards Snowbund. She sliced a table with it, to show what it could do, the table deteriorating in tron lines before dissolving amid a purple glow until nothing was left.

Do not touch him. He will rest and recover without drawing more innocents into a conflict unnecessarily.

Shakaurduraug answered with calm.
Then tell her to leave this man. She does not need to involve herself and you in a conflict unnecessarily. Unless you enjoy warring and being hunted by those who cannot understand peace.

Shakaurduraug shivered.
I will care for him. I have nothing to cherish in this world, for it is not mine entirely. However, it is my solemn duty to involve myself in conflict, for the sake of eliminating it entirely. Your concern is appreciated, but it goes against my goal. Unfortunately, that means you cannot help him.

Conflict is a needless creation, only hurting those around us. I refuse to see anyone else suffer as well.

With the two wandering away, she knelt down to the Detective and dissolved her sword back into a hand. She then fetched her rose, black as it was, with tron lines now running through it.

This will fix you.
she stated quietly as she made sure his wound was accessible for her.

Shakaurduraug carefully manipulated Randin's hand to clutch her rose before she started, pulling a petal off of it.

One...

She then followed with another petal.

Two...

With each petal plucked, a purple glow shone, tron lines sealing the wound as if cloth bandages. Six petals later, and his skin looked mostly new, if slightly scarred. It was a delicate seal, but it was a working one. With the wound tended to, she looked to Michael.

The real question is can they take on me...I refuse to see anymore innocents involved in needless conflict. I will end it no matter the cost. I have nothing to lose, only things to gain, so my involvement is indisputable.

She now stood to face Michael.
Oppression is wrong. But practicing a wrong to right a wrong is wrong in itself.

Shakaurduraug answered.
Everyone has made mistakes. This is unmistakable. But mistakes don't fix mistakes. Accepting mistakes and the halting of committing mistakes is what will fix any and all mistakes. Understanding the mistakes between each and every one of us, and realizing we're all similar in many ways, will solve conflict as a whole, and prevent further mistakes from all parties.

Whether or not he has wronged someone does not matter. What matters is the accepting that mistakes were made, but moving on without a need to make a mistake to try and correct a mistake.

She then knelt back besides him and took her rose back. It had 12 petals left. The scattered petals that she plucked lay around Randin's likely sleeping body. He seemed better, but she wouldn't be able to tell for sure.

Shakaurduraug nodded and stood again.
I do realize that...but I'm not alone. Many of us operate, in one group. We all share the same goal. I'm merely the leader of this gathering.

It is not an understatement to say we're everywhere to a certain level.

But alas, this mission is a difficult one. Not too many can see the reason we can. Not many can say they've seen what a world with no conflict looks like, where everyone gets along perfectly and without err. It is a glorious place however. Bringing that here is a worthy goal, and one I'll sacrifice my own being for.

I'd like to see these "Taiyou" types try and stop us. They'll realize their errors sooner or later.

She again turned to Randin and knelt down to lift his body. Careful to not wake him, she carried him to a small booth in the corner, laying him on the seat and making sure he was comfortable, and beckoned Michael to follow should he continue conversing with her.

Shakaurduraug nodded.
But that is your view, my good man.

She made sure Randin was safe and approached Michael once more.
I am not able to save everyone. But I can mitigate the negative effects resulting from it. Conflict can be removed. For this to work, everyone must become selfless however, which will only happen should everyone realize this.

She extended a hand.
Shakaurduraug. Leader of VOID. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you wish our aid for any endeavor you may have. Simply call my name, and I'll be there.

At least she was amiable in the face of opposing views.

Shakaurduraug nodded.
Good luck with that. Oppression is always an enemy of peace.

She returned to Randin's side.
So your name is Randin.
she stated to the sleeping man.

She knew he'd find trouble again. Perhaps a reminder would suffice. Somehow, it seemed insufficient. She grabbed the man again, and carried him up the stairs. She was gone for a bit before coming back down again minus Randin.

She then turned her attention to the television. A tool for spreading conflicting views. Evil machine.

Shakaurduraug stood entirely still.

While this mysterious force could not mortally harm her, as she wasn't entirely within this realm, it was still a powerful one, and could easily put up a fight enough to possibly outmatch and outclass her. This new force entering was on a similar level, but he had lackeys.

She considered her options.

Shakaurduraug stood steady even in the shaking. She did try to work her way over to Liam however, leaving the godly folks to battle it out among themselves. She quickly knelt down beside him and fished into her pocket before a look a grave terror washed over her.

She had none left, and now gunshots were being fired. She silently collected Liam's unconscious body and tried to slide into the storeroom with him. Considering the chaos present, she likely succeeded. The storeroom would be mostly safe for the time being.

Shakaurduraug made sure the door was securely closed in the wake of the chaos before setting the teenager down.

She knelt down and was glad that he wasn't awake to feel his arm having come off. She did however assess the condition.

Shakaurduraug visibly shivered. Blood loss was a problem.

Just calm yourself, and hold this for me...

She reached into her pocket, and retrieved a black rose. She handed this rose to him.
Hold it in your free hand please...

Shakaurduraug started plucking petals from it. One at a time.

One...

Two...

With each petal, Liam would feel a numbing of pain as the point of where he lost his arm began to seal itself, and stop bleeding. With each petal, the wounds healed more, and he'd feel more energetic.

Once she reached the seventh petal however...

...eight...nine...

She was visibly straining and wincing with each one. She stopped here, however, having sealed the wound completely, the purple glow surrounding it fading, leaving a plaid pattern of scars in it's place.

She then sighed and shivered.
...finished...can I have the...rose back please?

She spoke with considerable effort between words, and didn't look as sturdy as earlier.

Shakaurduraug looked at the rose and counted the remaining petals. 3 petals remained as she pocketed the rose and stood again.

She was still standing, and regained her stoic composure as she observed the lopped off arm, and considered what should be done with it.
