a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by ClockworkTowers

Description

Description
Shakaurduraug is a relatively tall woman who wears what looks like a long black robe crossed with a long-sleeved hoodie. Her right hand is always covered by a black glove, and her left hand, being robotic in design, resembles the larger pincer of a crab. Her black boots are always well-polished, and her skin always white as printing paper. Her black hair is wavy and flows to just above her elbows. In her eyes, one could see a black haze, the pupil itself being a foggy and a darker gray.

Personality
Shakaurduraug isn't too quiet by normal standards, and can hold a normal conversation to a large extent, but she enjoys lacing words with cryptic meanings, often turning towards that direction if she hasn't already. She seems reclusive and secretive overall, spilling little of anything meaningful while she talks. She does however interact with others often, for she leads a cultist group that seeks to bring Voidspace to the world, and to grow their influence, interaction is key. She disdains seeing people put in unnecessary danger.

Equipment
Left Hand: Magreeb's Claw
Shakaurduraug's left hand has been replaced by a robotic claw designed like a pincer from a crab. It got it's name from a mythical creature who also has claws like these, and are known for their impressive melee combat skills. Shakaurduraug herself is more than capable in close combat, thanks to this claw and her swift strikes

Artifact: Black Rose
A healthy and very alluring black rose. It is vibrant and retains all of it's petals. Purple lines are starting to fluctuate through it by this point, all over the petals and leaves. It seems to be very dear to her, and seems to revitalize itself when bathed in water.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Voidspace Magic - Shakaurduraug's Specialties
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Voidspace is an unknown dimension for the most part, but energy spawned from there is a direct counter to energy from the real world. When energy from Voidspace is used in the real world, it can potentially deteriorate whatever it touches.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Spell: Nullwave
Shakaurduraug fires a strong pulse of negative energy from her right hand in a cone in front of her. It also prevents magic from being used by the afflicted.

Spell: Netherchains
Shakaurduraug throws several binding chains of negative energy at one foe to try and still their movement.

Spell: Riftpulse
Shakaurduraug can create small local portals to Voidspace itself, up to a limit of four. She can then radiate pulses of negative energy around any of them.

Spell: Voidstep
Shakaurduraug accesses Voidspace for short periods of time to teleport short distances.

Spell: Nonsphere
Shakaurduraug launches forth an orb of negative energy from her right hand to potentially deteriorate by a large amount one foe.

Spell: Minus
Shakaurduraug uses negative energy to transform her right hand into a blade made entirely of said energy. The same energy can also form into a shield for defense, absorbing and nullifying everything levied against it.

So begins...

Shakaurduraug stood abruptly, perhaps too abruptly.
...I'll be fine...

She seemed colder now.

Shakaurduraug shook her head.
...not an option for me...

She peeked around the door to see if the bar was still a mess of chaos.

Shakaurduraug tried to shrug him off.
...I said I'll be fine...

Her tone was harsh this time.

Shakaurduraug said nothing further and slid outside the storeroom.

Shakaurduraug quickly ran out the side entrance. She was now in no condition to face anything here right now.

A large and very unstable portal appeared for a brief second close to the bar counter. The portal itself was colored a cross between purple and black, and was emanating "tron lines". As quickly as it spawned, a bright flash ensued, and the portal closed, leaving a tall and enigmatic figure in it's place, the "tron lines" dissipating.

The figure glanced around, eyes first landing on the bartenders, then on everyone else.

Shakaurduraug made her way over to the stage, standing in front of it in much the same manner that Railynn was doing. This violin music was rather alluring, and reminded her of the pianist she had barely met who gave her a rather pretty black rose. That was a most interesting action she experienced.

She idly did wonder if this performer was the same, but watched with a silent gaze nonetheless.

Shakaurduraug turned sharply to note the one screaming loudly, almost tempted to see what the matter was. However, she returned attention to the performer on the stage.

Shakaurduraug was radiating a negative energy herself if Agares was observant. The energy was mostly contained to her right hand that was covered by a glove. She didn't seem to pay specific attention to it, but it was there to most scans for energy sources.

Right now, she was enamored with the music the violinist was playing, almost entirely disregarding the other girl there at the stage at the moment.

Shakaurduraug was listening with great intent, only barely noticing the dragon child. She prominently displayed her left hand, a complex contraption designed as a pincer of a creature not unlike a crab. She snapped it open and closed a few times, to see if the dragon would shoo off, she was missing an otherwise good performance.

Shakaurduraug heard the hum of something that was not musical in origin and quickly whipped around, whipping around again to the sound of the chair falling apart. No doubt about it. That hum started and then the chair fell apart. Sabotage.

Quickly, the tall woman climbed the stage in two steps, and made her way to the fallen violinist, kneeling beside him.
...Are you okay? That was quite a fall...

Shakaurduraug had a rose with her, sitting in a pocket on her robe/dress that she wore, it was black, and in plain sight of the violinist, as well as maybe the dragonlet. It had dark purple streaks etched on the otherwise black petals. Her gaze was ghostly, murky, dark, as it fixed on the performer himself.

Shakaurduraug seemed unfazed by the display presented, and only closed her eyes for a moment. She then turned and returned to a booth, taking a quiet seat, carefully studying the rest of the patrons.

Shakaurduraug appeared between Brian and Thea in a flash of purple light, tron lines emanating around her. The lines quickly faded, and she glared at the two.
...this conflict cannot be allowed to continue...cease at once, all of you.

She was quite serious in her tone, her right transforming into a shapeless mass of negative energy.

Shakaurduraug glared at Thea most ominously.

Careful who you call "mortal", otherworldly being. Some would surprise you. Cease your bickering with these others. I will give two...one...more chances.

Shakaurduraug looked to Brian, touching her right hand, glowing with negative energy, to a table.

The table lit up purple and deteriorated into nothing amid a flurry of tron lines. When the process finished, the table was entirely and utterly gone, no trace remaining.

She then responded to Thea,
...but conflict does. Conflict of any kind must be stopped.

Try me. I'll stop conflict if it means I use it as a tool to that end.

Shakaurduraug transformed her right hand into a rather long sword, a swift strike at the same poor table again making it deteriorate into nothing.

Your dog is next, is this okay with you, otherworldly being?

Shakaurduraug raised her sword up, the sword itself showing off an unmoving plaid texture in a mess of black and purple lines. The sword was made of this negative energy. She seemed mostly unfazed by the gravity shift, although she did display some difficulty in lifting her arm.

Stop your petty conflict and I won't have to.

Shakaurduraug shielded her face from the sudden increase in light. She answered Brian.
I will not leave until you two settle the argument that is unwarranted, and disruptive to those around you.

She seemed to be affected by the gravity more now, almost straining to continue standing. She was clearly not of this world entirely, but was still affected, showing some presence here.

She regarded Thea with disgust.
I'll stay out of it when you stop pressing it.

Shakaurduraug noticed the half-angel retreat and exited any form of an aggressive stance. Her right hand returning to it's normal gloved form.

She then seemed to lose a lot of strength and quickly hit the floor, this being a side effect of her overcompensating for the higher gravity returning to normal.

Shakaurduraug attempted to stand up, managing to climb to one knee as she looked at her Black Rose she always carried.

A quick count of the petals told her there remained 20, which was a good sign.

She then smiled for a brief moment before returning her attention to the angels.

Shakaurduraug sighed, and vanished much as she appeared, her form deteriorating in a flash of purple light, tron lines dissipating.
