Stereotypical Popular Girl
Shelby is lonely. She's the most popular girl in school but feels that all her friends only like her because of her popularity. Because of this, she's more than willing to find a friend who likes her for who she is; she likes to have fun and enjoy herself as much as possible while still in school. She's easy going and usually the more submissive person in a romantic relationship. She's quick to trust, which isn't always a good thing and has an attitude problem towards those she doesn't know and doesn't want to know.
For her sixteenth birthday, Shelby's dad bought her a black Mercedes, which she loves with all her heart.
Shelby's parents got divorced when she was five, because her dad can't keep his pants on. His big thing is to date younger women, which has gotten worse and worse as he's gotten older and older. As for Shelby's mom, she lives in France where she's a business consultant to a large corporation. She's married to her work, but still tries to find the time to be with Shelby; they're literally best friends. Her sophomore year of school, Shelby was lucky enough to date a college freshman. It was perfect until he started to beat her up. He was caught almost raping her by her dad, and he called the police. That was the end of that, and Shelby has sworn off any and all romantic relationships ever since.
