act v. The Understanding
Simone never speaks but can hear and understand every word anyone speaks to her. She is a shy person who loves to strum on her instrument as it's the only thing she remembers how to do, even though it's really only her body that does. She is very sympathetic towards other people and loves to listen in on conversations even though she does not participate in them herself. She seems easily trustable since she speaks to no one, and is probably one of the few people that could ever hold a secret without wanting to tell it. There are hardly any of those that she would willingly speak forth with however, leaving only one from the world's population that Simone would openly talk with.

act vi. The History
Simone woke up to the sound of silence. Everything around her lied in a heap of rubble. She didn't know where she was or how she had gotten there. As she explored her small home town near Silvanos, she found it completely empty and abandoned. Only a hollow wind with a bitter bite blew through the city. After she searched, Simone found some clothing and an instrument with a name etched into it, inside the building that had been destroyed. Strangely she found that she had the talent to actually play. Since then she has been wondering from town to town meeting the various people along the way. Though in her wanderings, it seems that Simone keeps coming back to one place in particular, though her motivation is only openly known to herself and one other.

Simone Talente had only come to this place in hopes that a dear friend were to visit soon. For the past few days she had come here in hopes that Michael would make an appearance, no matter how short. When earlier entering the bar, Simone had taken notice that the man was not here, yet again, and had retreated to just outside the bar, sinking against the wall with a blank music sheet and a pencil.

Pausing to think for a moment, Simone placed an end of the writing utensil between her lips, before sighing and jotting down a chord absently. When making music, the young woman was far too talented and it came nothing more than second nature to Simone.

Simone Talente found herself thumping her pencil against her knee to a tempo she heard near her. The girl blinked and passed a glance upward to see Drax and his hooves proving that beat she had been following. A surge of fear ran down Simone's spine though, it was merely a passing thing as she remembered just how gentle he could be. But, the girl was still apprehensive toward him still.

Noticing how he did not carrying Michael made her panic slightly, and without thinking to check for an extra pair of feet beneath the mammoth horse, Simone abandoned her music making and ran up to Drax with wild eyes, almost tripping a few times in her haste.

Simone Talente gasped a breath full of air into her fragile and small lungs before halting to a stop, though her steps were far too clumsy to maintain a well balance. Perhaps it was the small rut in the earth, or perhaps it had been the shock of hearing his voice once more. Simone was not too sure as the young woman fell to her hands and knees with a shy whimper. Pain shot through her soft flesh, and sitting back on her thighs, Simone cringed while looking down upon her scraped hands. A hurt came into those tender eyes. Simone's hands were ruined in her mind...

Having a rather large portion of her skin being torn, the young woman bit down on her bottom lip while tears welled in her eyes and used her other hand to press the blue fabric of her dress against the shallow, but crimson seeping wound. In embarrassment, Simone bowed her head, hiding that lovely face behind long blond tresses in order to hide from Michael and Drax.

Simone Talente flinched slightly at Michael's reach yet did not pull away from him. The cold upon her hand was comforting for only that man had such a trait to his being. And as her gaze met his—though reluctantly—Simone threw herself upon him in a daring hug. Only with him would she had done such a thing as well; Michael was a much privileged man when it came to the delicate girl.

"You're back..." She said to him in a voice thankful, yet small as was in her nature. Even though there was still that sting in her hand, Simone paid it no mind.

Simone Talente held her skimmed hand away from him, yet tightened her hold upon Michael as much as she could; he would disappear at any moment she feared. A small sob—not of sorrow but of joy—was heard from the buried face in the crook of his neck. Goosebumps arose on her flesh, but just as the pain in her palm, Simone made no mind of this. It was an easy sensation to withstand in order to embrace her dearest friend.

Simone Talente shivered slightly, the smallest spasms of muscle from his coolness, yet still she refused to release him. "...you should stay, Michael. Please?" The inquiry was hopeful, yet still doubt leaked into Simone's words as she knew that the roaming Michael could never truly remain here forever. It was selfish thought and instantly the girl regretted it, but it was a passing moment for her when she realized just how near to her Michael was in this moment.

"I've missed you too..."

Simone Talente felt the weight of his coat being placed upon her shoulders and uttered to him a silent statement of gratitude. It was when Michael had said that he would stay at least for a short amount of time, that Simone gasped and leaned back from him with excitement in her eyes.

"Really, Michael?" A smile spread along her lips, causing a small dimple to shape in her left cheek. And then it was gone as Drax blew air through his nose, startling her. Simone cast a glance back at the massive steed and calmed. Everything was alright when Michael was near, and she was slowly accepting that his companion would not come to harm her.

"Michael... you should know, " she paused to smile at Drax, showing that her fear of him was lessening each time they met before returning to her response, " that you will always have at least one friend here. I promise". Saying such a thing brought a blush to her cheeks and Simone finally retreated from Michael to stand upon her own two feet. She grasped her aching hand by the wrist and held it gingerly. "H-How were your travels, though?"

Simone Talente reached out a hand quickly to Michael to settle on his shoulder. It was quite uncomfortable for him to bow down to her, and Simone didn't really like it too much. He didn't have to do such a thing. Always did her dear friend seem like a knight from those fairy tales some people told by the fire side; sometimes she'd even wonder if Michael was from a storybook himself. About to speak a protest, her words were sealed as soon as he spoke and Simone listened...

"It must be nice to travel like you do, ah, except for the loneliness part. I know how that is... I don't think I could travel like you do, Michael. You're very brave, you know".

Simone Talente blinked in surprise, and almost stopped breathing for a moment. "D-daughter? I didn't... I—you have a daughter, Michael?" She had recalled the tale Michael told her, yet she could not place the two pieces together, if that was the case of this revelation. As if not believing what she had heard, Simone quickly ducked her head down slightly and tucked her hair behind an ear in case she had misheard Michael.

Simone Talente arched a brow and looked up at Michael with an unreadable expression. "Oh, I would have never guessed, really. You... travel so much and don't settle down for long... ah, I'm sorry. I didn't mean—I, oh..." Simone sighed, giving up, and passed a glance to where Drax had wondered off. Bringing her eyes back to her hand, the young woman went into deep thought; so deep in fact, that she had almost forgotten that Michael was standing in front of her.

Simone Talente saw her hand tremble which made the woman narrow her eyes uncharacteristically, before she turned back that softer look onto Michael. There was another riddling of heavy blush on her cheeks from his mention of not being with any other women. Not that she cared for his history—though Simone did—it was the image of Mic-

"...ah, right," was her simple reply because of the embarrassment wafting through Simone at the moment.

The young woman peered through the window inlaid into the door of the bar to see who was present and whta kind of danger was running rampant inside the room currently. It was.. a strange view so to say. A group of people and a small creature, a man with a burden, and other assorted individuals...

But none of them were him.

Simone sighed and relaxed her hand from the window pane with head slightly bowed down. It wasn't even worth visiting this place anymore without Michael as he was the only one she could even trust to speak with. It was rather depressing that Simone would isolate herself like this, but ever since waking up that fateful day with no memory, she had been alone.

Simone Talente heard hooves upon the ground which grew hope in the fragile woman's heart. Hands grasped at the cloth of her dress before stepping towards the sound only to spot the creature she had wanted! A smile almost spread across her lips before Simone saw that it was only the steed and not the rider as well...

"D-Drax...? Wher—... Michael...?" she asked quietly, looking around as if someone would be spying on her just to hear her speak. Poor little paranoid being.

Simone Talente had her attention caught at the snot, flinching, and then looked towards the bar. Did he mean that Michael was inside...? It was hard for her to understand horse, to say in the least. Unclenching her fists from her clothing, Simone reached into her apron and pulled from it a shiny red apple and held it out for the giant beast.

Simone Talente smiled timidly and bowed her head to Drax in thanks for being so gentle with her. She knew that he was taking care and the woman appreciated it greatly. Turning slowly from the beast, Simone made way to the door, pushed against it, and entered into the room.

Her smile brightened. It was difficult to not spot him in a room amoungst strangers.

Simone Talente strolled over to Michael, maneuvering around the other odd patrons, and giving them wide-birth in order to pass them. Once arriving at her friend, Simone hesitated for a moment before placing a hand on his arm from behind. It was no wonder he didn't see her!

Simone Talente squealed and felt her heart want to leap from her chest as he jumped beneath her touch, causing the woman to retch her hand back as if he had burned her. A terrified look replaced the smile that had been there only moments ago, but it calmed and Simone merely sighed in embarrassment. Blush rose up horribly on her cheeks while she clasped her hands in front of her and bowed down her head to hide behind a veil of hair.

Simone Talente shook her head while reaching down to clasp the ivory fabric of her apron; something that had been given to her by a woman that attempted to adopt Simone. "N-no... Michael its—its alright... I shouldn't have done that... Mn," she stuttered before just giving up and biting down on her lower lip to quiet herself.
