Sir Gallante glared after Godeaux, filled with passionate indignation. It was only his centuries of life that gave him the will to resist charging after the man. If he did not have honour, he had nothing.

The hurt to his honour for letting the man go was far less than that for stabbing him in the back. He absently wondered if he would regret that decision, in the future.

Sir Gallante pushed open the door of the bar and walked inside, his black armour clanking with each step and his cloak flowing outwards behind him. His expression was, as usual, devoid of obvious emotion. Without paying much mind to the other patrons, Gallante approached the bar and sat, ordering a drink before leaning back into a relaxed posture.

But if there was one thing any experienced soldier should know, it was that those who appeared relaxed were often more alert than those who stood rigidly, and usually far more deadly.

Sir Gallante looked to Kat, acknowledging her with naught but his gaze "A simple ale will suffice, madam." he said, his voice almost monotonous.

Sir Gallante placed two silver coins upon the counter, caring little as to whether they were worth more than was needed. His attention was focused on the rather loud ruckus coming from the clumsy entrance of the ork.

Gallante didn't like orks. It was a knight thing.

Sir Gallante shook his head at Grotgul's shouting. He supposed it was quite an achievement for an ork to have lasted this long without tearing somebody's head off. Quite an achievement, for an ork, that is. He still didn't like it, it was loud and irritating.

Not to mention it smelled like it had been dead for at least a week...

Sir Gallante raised an eyebrow in admiration of Kat's handling of the oaf. Few people had the courage to shout in the face of a drooling, fourteen foot black orc. It remained to be seen whether she would live to be proud of it, and she would, if Gallante could help it.

Sir Gallante shook his head. It would be a demon, wouldn't it? As if this day wasn't bad enough with a blasted orc, now there was a demon. This wasn't going to end well, that much was certain...

Sir Gallante 's eyes immediately snapped to Kat, narrowing, and his hand reaching for his weapon instinctively. Mind readers, he hated mind readers, they made him feel unsafe - getting inside his mind, reading his thoughts. It was only one step further to compulsion, and that sent shivers down the knight's spine.

Scowling at the woman, he focused his thoughts into a tangible sentence, and sent them with such force at the woman that it would seem as if he were shouting in his mind "Stay out of my thoughts, witch."

Sir Gallante turned his level gaze upon the warboss, meeting the beast's gaze unwaveringly. Not a word found its way past his lips, he had not spoken since he entered, other than within his own mind to that intrusive psychic, and he did not intend to speak first to this oaf. His posture remained relaxed, and his hands had long since moved from his weapon. Now he simply waited.

Sir Gallante 's eyes narrowed, flashing with anger for a moment before returning to his previous stoic expression. "What do you know of her?" he asked, his voice barely more than a whisper, yet as commanding as if he were a general yelling out orders. Here was a man who would not take no for an answer today - if this witch was who he thought, this could be the most valuable conversation of his long life.

And it was with an orc. The irony was cutting.

Sir Gallante "Not you." he snapped at Kat, before returning his attention to the orc.

Sir Gallante was quite obviously incredibly focused on this discussion, he would otherwise never consider such rude behaviour toward a woman. "What was her name? Where did you see her? Answer me, orc, and answer me straight. Do not try and play games with me, I am on a tightly wound thread."

Sir Gallante 's eyes narrowed. W-something, there were a lot of witches with names beginning with W, but not many of them... smelled... like him. Even if he was relying on an orc's nose for that information, it was the only lead he'd had for years. "Where did the witch come to you, and do you know where she went?"

Sir Gallante frowned, had he somehow found his way to an entirely different planet than he had been turned upon? That would certainly explain the lack of any trace of the Wyrd Witches, and he had definitely been through more than one mysterious portal... who knows? He might well have.

"Are you saying that you killed her? Or simply her kin?"

Sir Gallante raised his eyebrow. It turned out that orcs were good for something after all, the reducing of witch populations. "Do you have any idea where they went from there?" he inquired, having forgotten almost entirely his prejudices against speaking with orcs in order to acquire information.

Sir Gallante frowned, possibly about to make the most bizarre request of his entire life. And that was a great accomplishment, considering his lengthy timeline. "Is there... any chance I might accompany you?" he questioned, almost cringing at the thought of spending a space journey with none but orcs for company. But if it got him to Wyrda... it was worth it.

Sir Gallante raised an eyebrow "I am a capable fighter, yes. This armour, and this axe, are not simply for show." he said. He chose not to refer to his other ability, his curse. He hated to utilise it, and so chose not to, more often than not.

Sir Gallante hoped he hadn't just made the biggest mistake of his life, placing his half finished drink down on the bartop and standing also, barely coming up to the orc's chest. "Alright, orc. Lead on." he said, gesturing. "I suppose it is only right that we exchange names if we are to travel together. You may call me Gallante."

Sir Gallante entered the bar calmly, his stern gaze directed firmly ahead of him as he walked. He paid little heed to Emurado's destruction - the bar itself was more than firm enough in its reconstruction to withstand the efforts of a single man, and he had not the patience for a confrontation at this moment. He walked his way to the bar counter, and sat. His eyes flickered to Sylvire for a few moments, but seeing she was otherwise occupied, he simply sat.

Sir Gallante laughed. "Sinister, is it? I have encountered more sinister things in my time, though admittedly I can see how you would fall under that description. I am Gallante. I was once a Sir, though that matters little now."

Sir Gallante received Sylvire's message, but scowled. 'What use is it to flee this signal, if it will only return to haunt us at a later date?' he thought to himself. 'The only solution is to remove its source, or else it will locate us every time, and we will never have anonymity'.

And thus, the knight did not move, instead remaining in his position near the bar counter.

Sir Gallante "Naught but idle wandering, in truth. I have an eternity to wander, and I find this place often in my travels. Often not in the same place. But this is a place where I can take a drink without being found odd, or otherwise undesirable company."

Sir Gallante raised an eyebrow "I do not think you truly understand my morality. If you did, you would not be discussing the slaughtering of innocents with me. Though I am old, and my knighthood ancient, I still follow the tenets of a knight. I hold my honour highly, and would never stand by and let such an atrocity occur."
