Teddy and Zula make a further attempt to evade Darkella by heading into the eastern reaches of Wing City. After marching past the traffic and noise, they are met with a variety of cultures that roam within the suburbs. "I can smell her again," Teddy announced, he looks as if checking to see if they were being pursued, "We have to keep moving."
"We can't keep running," Zula urged, "We have to fight. Darkella won't stop until she's captured you, we have to fight and cripple her."
"We're not enough to hurt her," Teddy said, they marched further into the eastern wing, when Teddy's darkness sensed something, "I think I'm picking up new scents."
"Other darkness users," Zula examines, "Here? Where?"
"I don't know," Teddy said, to Zula's disbelief, "I've never encountered this scent before, it's smokey, so it's demonic, but only half so. This scent possesses a small fragrance about it, like incense, there's only a few other creatures with that scent."
"Really?" Zula asked, "Would one of them be Arceus in his Dread Form?"
"Only speculation," Teddy returned, he knew Zula was referring to his recent trip to Mt. Coronet for the Order of Light to investigate the existence of the Divine Beast, there, he smelt the same scent as he did here, both divine and unholy, this led him to believe that if Arceus was there, he was clearly in his dark type Dread Form. "And if I'm correct," Teddy continued, "this creature, no," Teddy sniffs, "Creatures, may have similar origins."
"So you're saying," Zula began trying to sum up Teddy's thoughts, "That these darkness users could hide your presence, and with these darkness users doubling as light users, Darkella may stay away from the group, key word being 'may,' since she's pretty... Ballsy."
"Yes," Teddy said, he then goes to track the source of the scent.
