"Many regard me as the youngest of what could be called, 'a dying order.' I'm a knight, and I'm dedicated to the protection of others!"

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by HeroBlast

Description

Name: Theodore Gawain Ursa. Usually goes by, "Teddy."

Age: 18

Occupations:Former Knight, Former Pokemon Trainer, Former High-ranking Member of the Order of Light, Banished Warrior and Mercenary.
Physical Description:
-eyes: Blue
-hair: Pale Blonde, evidently bleached, in a messy comb over.
-height: 5"7'
-build: Muscular.

Personality: Teddy can be described as silent and quiet, due to him not being too outgoing. However, he does maintain (or try to) a gentlemanly conduct, holding ideas a of honor, justice, and the fair treatment of women and children. As a knight, he keeps true to his honor and chivalry. He is brave in the face of battle, not letting his opponents intimidate him when he's clearly facing an enemy clearly out of his league. Overall, Teddy possesses an adament nature. However, he does have a weakness to women, sometimes being distracted at worst. After his banishment, he seems to have become colder, pragmatic, and emotionally closed off.

Equipment, abilities, and his team: Teddy is in possession of a powerful team of Pokemon, however, they are mostly absent, with only his Aggron, Thumbnail, traveling with him, however, it is likely Thumbnail was taken away from him when he was banished. Most of the time, he can be seen with his armor, which is a combination of modern soldier kevlar armor, and medieval knight's armor. As weapons go, he can be seen with a knife, a concealed handgun, and a charm, which he describes that it gives him small protection from bad luck, which equals a lesser risk of being injured or captured or killed. As far as skills go, Teddy is very athletic and possesses a will hardened by battle. However, his most notable abilities are his skill at exploiting enemy weaknesses in close and ranged combat and his inexplicably sharp aim. Teddy is a frightfully skilled combatant, and anyone looking to face him in a fair fight have already lost.

History: Being raised by a single rich mother, Teddy would rise into heroism after being trained as a knight. He seems to be affiliated with stopping many criminals. He is also a high-ranking member of a magical peace organization, the Order of Light. However, some kind of incident occurred to cause a falling out between Teddy's friends and family, an incident so severe, he had evidently been banished as a result.

So begins...

"Hey, if it's not broke don't fix it." Said The Mechanic. Ace then pulled the two Forzo genomes up side-by-side for comparison, he then stuck a sticky-note on the screen above the true Forzo genome. "Yeah, but I'm not too sure what this other genome might be, it has a few similarities here and there with the Forzo genome, but then it takes a 180 degree turn from the Forzo genome completely...any clues Mechanic?" Asked Ace. "I'm not sure, I'll need to do a bit of research." Said The Mechanic.

Ravenger brushed bits of glass from his hand, "Yeah, but it is the worst. I always wake up, just completely disoriented. Its instantaneous too. It gets really, really annoying after a while". He walked over to Azzen, and crouched by her, pulled her head up by the hair, inspecting her face, "She's not coming around any time soon, that's for sure. You guys did a real number on her".

As Teddy remains asleep, Zula decided to socialize with the others, maybe train later. She turns to leave, "Rest easy, Master Ursa," she says, it felt strange to call Teddy by his more appropriate title in the Order, but she shrugs it off, Dodeca, and her and Teddy's enemies were stranger still, "We'll retake the Fortress, just rest."

Zula then begins to wander through the Rift Rider, wondering who'll she'll encounter.

"I just used tranqulizers, Chal hit her with her sword." Said The Mechanic. The Mechanic then looked back at the screen and moved the sticky note to the other genome. "That one is the true Forzo genome." Said The Mechanic. "Oh..." Said Ace.

Storm then got launched through the wall and landed infront of Zula, he then raised his chain-scythes just as DL Storm swung his sword down ther the weapons collided, the chain-scythes almost instantly shattered and Storm ducked out of the way and created more chain-scythes, Storm and DL Storm continued fighting but if one were to look close enough they were only aiming for eachother's weapons, Sky then accidently walked inbetween them and Storm pushed her out of the way and got a large slash on his chest and he crumpled to the floor slightly rocking back and forth. "Storm!" Said Sky in surprise. Sky then wrapped her arms around Storm, then DL Storm pulled her away from Storm and healed him. "Dang it, pay more attention! You could have gotten you and/or Storm here killed if we were actually trying to kill eachother!" Said DL Storm. "Hey! Don't yell at Sky!" Said Storm.

Ravenger smiled, "So that's what the bruise is all about", he let Azzen go, he face slamming into the floor again. "Heh. I always get a kick outta that". He stood up, and stretched, "My arm is stiff, was I laying on it? And my back...that reminds me of a song I once heard", he said turning and walking out of the room. Azzen moaned from the floor, and rolled to her back, "Ow, my head. What hit me?".

The Mechanic shot Azzen with a few more tranquilizer darts. "Sorry about that, want to keep you asleep until we drop you off, just for safety." Said The Mechanic. The Mechanic then went back to looking at the computer screen, Ace then heard a buzzing sound and went over and picked up a phone. "Hey, Mechanic, you dropped your phone...also someone named Trixie is asking for Ravenger's name." Said Ace. The Mechanic then took the phone back and looked at it, he then sent a reply whispering it as he typed. "In your dreams, he's a Neo-Hunter." Whispered The Mechanic under his breath.

The Mechanic then continued analyzing the genomes, also taking notes, yet if one were to look at his notes it seemed to consist of only drawings and numbers. "Hey Mechanic, why don't you ever write words?" Asked Ace. "Because, I can't read, before you start laughing and calling BS, I never learned to read, infact I barely managed to teach myself math and all the science I know is either from my own mind or something I heard from someone else, which is why every note I've ever taken only includes sketches and numbers." Said The Mechanic. "But you can speak extremely well." Said Ace. "There's a huge difference between words on paper and spoken words." Said The Mechanic. "Ah...Maybe you can ask someone for help...someone that's not me, I'm not a good teacher." Said Ace. "No arguments there." Said The Mechanic.

This will be your room, so go crazy! Im going to leave you to do your thing, alright?". Veorie smiled and nodded, "Re-decorating. Yeah, i'll get on that". Chal waved, "Later Vey!". Shade was walking down the hall and heard Veorie talking about her decorations. "I hope that they won't be real." Said Shade as he continued walking.

Ace then walked out of the room leaving The Mechanic to do his thing, he then came across Chal. "Hey Chal, turns out there's an error on the blood-system-thingy, turns out there's two different genomes labeled Forzo, also did you know The Mechanic actually can't read? It's really surprising." Said Ace. "If he can't read how were there two genomes 'labeled' Forzo?" Asked Shade as he walked past. "Because...The Mechanic gave me a list of what to rename each genome as since before it was labeled as a series of numbers and letters...he did say he was never planning on using the machine anyway so I thought that it wouldn't matter much if I messed up...Well I f*cked up..." Said Ace.

Seemingly, Teddy and Zula disappear from the Rift Rider and the occupants are no longer knowing of their existence due to a strange magic...

Teddy once again stands in front of the MCU Headquarters, hoping for help on his personal demons, problems he couldn't settle himself.

"Teddy!" Zula calls out, "I was sent to help you."

"Zula," Teddy addresses, "What a pleasent surprise."

"I was sent because Dodeca sensed Darkella edging closer to you."

"Oh, and the communication crystal network is down... Zula, didn't we have this conversation before?"

"As a matter of fact... Yes!"

Both parties were clearly astounded by this, they clearly remember this conversation as it arose in their minds! They conclude that something strange is going on, Teddy looks at today's newspaper, and its clearly quite some time after Teddy first came. But how? How could Teddy and Zula be affected by a possible time loop while the time itself still marched like normal?

A strange thing indeed but not something that did not pose an interest to outside forces that could remain outside the structure without giving off any kind of warning. The antlered feline poked its head out from the bushes and sat upon the grassy knoll across the street from the MCU Headquarters only to keep its eldritch emerald gaze upon the oddly clad pokemon trainer.

"What an interesting boy." The beautiful words of a woman's voice traversed the calm breeze like a gentle whisper. It seemed nothing more than something one might consider their imagination but it was the thoughts of another given form and life. The feline only could tilt its head as it continued to watch from a distance.

Teddy and Zula sat at a bench at the Wing City Plaza. The two are silent, trying to figure out what to do, this was day one, and Teddy had was estimating when the time loop will happen again. Teddy remembered that his rival had captured the Fortress of Light on the third and last day of the time loop. Maybe this had something to do with it? It certainly made a gut instinct. "Hey, Zula," he asked, "Do you think that Dodeca may have started a time loop to give us time to take out Mizer before he captures the Fortress."

Zula looks at Teddy, this was certainly a compelling theory. "She could have," Zula returned, "It's no secret how powerful she is, she could destroy Darkella in seconds where it normally takes months for other magic users. Speaking of Darkella, where is she right now?"

Teddy turns to Zula in surprise, he had forgotten about Darkella! "She's nowhere near us, thankfully," Teddy returned, "My darkness-enhanced nose can't smell her right now."

"An interesting conversation for two very interesting individuals to be having." a rather peculiar voice chirped upon the slightest breeze. It was almost silent and possibly not even heard but if it was then it would be possible for some to mistake it as the wind or maybe something else entirely. It was only moments later that a antlered feline stepped out from the brush and began watching the two from a rather hefty distance.

It would begin to clean its right paw as its eldritch green eyes kept their gaze upon its newfound prey with great interest as if it was stalking a mouse and ready to pounce at a moments notice.

Teddy's eyes furrowed, a new scent came, and this was a strange one at that! His nose is attune with the Mana Streams thanks to his darkness, this helped him sense other magic users and the supernatural. This is how he could sense Darkella. In addition, a taste came as well, it tasted like vegetables, woody even. The scent is also smelt a little flowery and like cut grass. Teddy then stood up.

Zula notices this, "Do you sense something?" She asked concerned, "Is it a threat?"

"I don't know," Teddy replied, "This scent and taste... It's new! It smells like grass and pinecones and tastes like wood. The Fae don't smell or taste at all like that, not the ones I know, they taste more like crisp, clean air and purified water."

Zula stands as well, "Is it a threat?"

The antlered feline continued to clean its right paw all the while it kept gazing upon the two with interest. It was like a cat playfully stalking a mouse only to pounce and torture the poor thing before finishing the job off once and for all. Emerald eyes continued to glow as it watched from a distance but the feline did not move and instead took a seat while waiting to see if the two would make their first move.

Teddy motions for Zula to stay close, he looks around. He then calls out when the activity in the plaza begins to reach a lull, "I know you're there, you can't hide your magic from the predatory senses of the dark!" It was a risk to call out his chosen element of magic, (not like he had a call, this dark magic is hereditary) if the stranger is sworn to eliminate darkness, they could attack him without hesitation. He called again for safety, "Friend, or foe?"

Zula mean time, watches, her sword instinctively reaching for the handle.

The antlered feline began to purr with utter fascination at the two before it. Strangely the cat turned itself about and began to circle the two from its distant hiding spot. Circling around them from the bushes its eldritch green eyes continued to glow.

"Why would I hide?" The woman's voice continued to trail along the breeze that filled this area. "The real question one should ask themselves if they are truly the predator, or prey, it is truly a simple thing to question." The woman's voice continued to flutter about the air around the two. Quickly the antlered feline jolted up a tree and into a ledge of one of the many buildings nearby.

"My what a threatening duo you two make. One who claims to understand the ebb and flow of magic and dark and another who clings to steel like it is her only tool." The mystery woman's voice continued to travel by the wind around them while the feline continued to climb ever higher as it got around the plaza.

"I like your way of thinking," Teddy complimented, it sounded like a genuine thought, "On many of my missions I sometimes play the role of prey, an on others, the predator. I know what it's like to be the hunter and the hunted. I understand darkness enough to know how it constantly tries to claim me, mind, body, and soul. It's like dealing with a jealous ex-girlfriend sometimes, it tries to make itself the only thing I can cling to, claiming it loves me as much as its other followers."

Teddy began to look around for anything, moving slowly to let the smell and taste guide him. Upon his urging, Zula speaks, "As for I, I have no natural talent in the magic arts. In order to fight, I must utilize the ways of the sword, martial arts, and atheletic skill."

Anya was inside one of her favorite clubs that was open all day, every week. The music in the club always played some type of rock track and the drinks weren't to shabby. But there was one problem about the bar, and that was the bar bar was owned by a local gang lord and she was always un-welcomed since she wasn't part of the gang.

She sat on a stool, next to the counter while drinking a non-alcoholic beverage. This was her tenth time in the club and the gang members were quite frankly fed up with telling her the same thing. As she relaxed and enjoyed the rock music playing, she felt a hand grab her shoulder very roughly followed by two guys with bats appearing by her side. "So is this your guys way on hitting on some girl?" She asked turning around with a big smile. A man that was probaly two feet taller than her and was quite muscular was staring her down, and he was clearly angry. "Listen you blonde bimbo! We told you ten times to never come back!" She spat at her but she remained unfazed "But you guys have really good drinks and music, like this grape juice." She motioned to her drink sitting on the counter behind her. The man clearly unamused began to crack his knuckles. "Looks like we need to teach you a lesson!"

The man threw his fist at her, but he gasped as the woman who looked clearly weaker than him was holding his fist at bay. "Thanks for trying to hit me first, now if I get in trouble with the police I can claim self defense." She spoke clearly happy before she flung the man over her shoulder into one of the guys holding a bat. The other armed thug raised his bat over his head to hit her, but he was met by a flurry of punches directed to his face and was knocked out cold.

All the thugs now in the club grabbed their weapons such as bats, knifes, brass knuckles, and some even drew pistols. She smiled and activated her bracers which transformed into a gauntlet. The ammo was already loaded in and today she decided to use rubber bullets so she didint kill anyone. As the men with melee weapons rushed her, she punched backwards causing her gauntlet to fire its round and the force allowed her to propel her forward followed by her punching the closest man, unloading a single rubber shell in him and causing him to fly backwards into a group of men and sent them all flying like bowling pins. "Strike!" She called out.

With all of the thugs with melee weapons knocked out cold, two thugs with guns began to shoot at her with the intention to kill. Their aim was pretty bad and instead of taking cover, she instead charged at one of the thugs using her inner aura to stop some of the bullets from penetrating her. When she was close the thug, she delivered a upercut to his chin causing her gauntlet to go off, afterwards she punched him in the gut with the same shotgun sound before grabbing the guy and throwing him across the room to hit the other guy.

With every thug now knocked out cold, she began to walk to the exit all the while waving behind her. "Thanks for the dance boys, I'll see you all tommorow!" With that she left the club.

Zula and Teddy both explained themselves perfectly, though the latter of the two seemed more ridiculous than the other for how they went about their explanations. The antlered feline now upon the roof of one of the buildings now simply found itself perched upon the edge of the building only to look comfortably down upon the two mice.

"A sword can only do so much for something you cannot see." The mysterious woman's voice cued at them once more only to laugh slightly allowing the sound to echo in their ears as if she was standing next to them. The Voice seemed to clearly speak towards the swordswoman only to change the subject to another. "And your senses will do you no good here brave knight. Your magics are nothing more than a bothersome trick. I imagine if my sense of smell is better than yours then I would suggest that the true source of what aids you is somewhere upon your person." The woman's voice once again called out from the breeze all the while the feline upon the roof above that rested so intently continued to watch with its eldritch emerald eyes.

As for the blond bimbo who caused such a ruckus within such a wretched establishment there was a presence of darkness that seemed to keep its distance from her. The young girl seemed dangerous, especially after her little show, and there was no need to engage her just yet. That is of course if all things turned out well and according to the grand design of things.

"Have you found out anything yet?" Zula asked Teddy.

"Yes," Teddy answered, sniffing the air to make sure, "A wood elf."

Zula was genuinely astonished, what was a wood elf, a creature of forests and nature, doing in the city? Things didn't add up to her on this encounter.

"I know you're a wood elf," Teddy called out, "So you have more intimate knowledge of what we call, the Old Ways. We humans collectively have only scratched the surface of these arts, most have even forsaken them for what you see around you. We know that if we didn't take special precautions, you could defeat us easily in a battle using our respective skills. You have shown mastery of the unseen. I know you're just toying with us, if you had malicious intent, you would have killed us out right. We were led here to meet, weren't we?"

The feline continued to sit and watch for a time as the man bellow began to spout off what he knew. It was almost to enjoyable to hear such a stunning selection of knowledge being spewed forth like any of it truly mattered at all.

"My how perceptive." The mystery woman's voice once again chimed in as the antlered feline jumped down from its perch and landed unnaturally silent upon the ground. "I am impressed by how much you have already determined about what is watching you. But sadly our meeting was not fated and if I truly wished to show any kind of malice I know of a many different ways other than outright murder." The Antlered feline gracefully made its way over to the bench only to hop up upon the wooden seat and meow rather loudly at the two. It tilted its head slightly only keeping its eldritch gaze upon the two still as if ready to pounce at any given second.

As for the blond brawler her senses of something dark around each corner she took but nothing would be seen or heard. Her trip to that burger joint might go swimmingly but there was a chance, a small one at that, she might stumble upon the scene of a swordswoman, a man dressed in strange knightly attire, and an even odder looking cat with eldritch emerald eyes.
