a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Echoback

Description

Standing at about 5'2" with a feminine but strong frame, Sparrow is typically described as being rather intimidating looking. She has deep set dark Eyes of no specific colour as it has various colours in many different kinds of light. She has short, bob length black hair that is thick and cut in a ragged style that often leads to her hair being in her face. Most of her height comes from her legs. She is usually seen wearing lots of black. She wears black Hakama with a black ribbed tanktop with black leggings, black tabi and a black Haori with a fleeting sparrow embroidered on the back, thus where she got her name. She is usually seen wearing stiff Waraji too. Her overall demeanor is that someone much older than they appear to be, very thoughtful and philosophical. She isn't very much of a fighter, but can hold her ground when absolutely necessary.

Personality

She is someone much more preferred to teaching than she is to fighting. She has trained many successful students in the arts of combat. She is very knowledgable and has a shrewed insight into everything. She is also a scholar and a philosopher, never stopping her learning desire. She is a woman that knows very much but rarely gives anything about herself away. However, she is still a very laid back person, seeming to be somewhat introverted at first in a social setting and rarely gets visually angry or upset.

Equipment

You name the fighting style, she probably knows it.

Various summoning arts for weapons.

History

Known only to have gone by the name of 'Ryuu' once upon a time, this sensei of many arts rarely lets on about anything. She is a stern believer that the past will always come to meddle with the future, but the best way to hold it off is to forget.

So begins...

Sparrow's Story

Sparrow would yawn widely and pulled open the door to Gambit's. "Lovely place," she commented with a slight face at the usual bar smells. Stale, spilled beer, various bodily fluids, the usual works. She would still walk inside though, she wanted something to drink. She would pull up one of the sleeves to her Haori just to allow her arm a good scratch or two. Her general expression as she looked over the patrons was a dull and rather bored one too. No one seemed to be in the middle of a fight, so she was okay with it.

Letting her sleeve back down and then knitting her hands inside of her wide sleeves and on her elbows, her dark eyes, looking black at this point, continued to give a good few sweeps around while she searched for a place to sit. She found no one of any particular interest, at least not yet. Maybe someone would eventually catch the master's eye, but everything was so... gay? Not exactly the word she was looking for, but it'd have to work. There were plenty of females around, even several males, but there was always a point where certain things just came off as odd. The master then walked over to the bar counter and sat herself down. She kept her back straight with her hands in her sleeves and watched the world go by. A bartender would probably come up to her soon, so she had to make her decision of what to drink, that wasn't to hard for her.

Sparrow would blink slightly as she looked over at Dom, he seemed to be having an unpleasant day. "Eh, Plum Sake, please? Don't bother with formalities, just give me the whole bottle," she gestured to a blue bottle in the wine refrigerator. She blinked a few times as she looked to the male once more. "Are you alright?" she'd ask, just to be friendly.

Sparrow would blink at the male a few times. Such a pleasant man this male was. She pulled out her money bag and placed a few bills dutifully on the countertop to pay for the entire drink before she grabbed the bottle and unscrewed the cap to the cold Sake. It was her favourite. She rose the bottle of the lavender coloured fluid to her lips and took a few good drinks off of it. It was perfect and appetizing and so many other words she just didn't have all the right ones. She would cough slightly and then put the cap back on the drink before setting it down. That's when she decided to turn around and look at everyone else in the room.

Busy little bees, weren't they? The knowledgeable female would give a small yawn, watching the situation between Rage, Kisa, Tear and West carefully. It was certainly causing some inner turmoil to the eldest male. The poor bastard.

Sparrow would sigh softly and then get up, taking her bottle of Sake and putting it in her sleeve for the meantime. She strode over to get a closer look at the situation between the others. Such a waste! Last she checked, ditching someone like this would cause someone to get kicked in the teeth. She gave a hard cough, an illness that had been plaguing her for her entire life, and dabbed her lips with a handkerchief. The female would give a few transverse crosses over the bar before going back and dropping back into her seat at the bar counter.

Sparrow would give a light yawn and then pulled her bottle of cold sake from her sleeve and continued to drink off of the contents. The alcohol in it wasn't too high, so it wasn't clouding any of her reactions or judgment for that matter. She was simultaneously thinking about Rage, Tear, Kisa and .. that other guy. She found herself wondering where the hell they went. So, she made a quick inquiry to her tracking spells.

Sparrow would appear among the people in silence, out of sight so she could just observe. What a strange set of people here. With any luck, the black haired female with the dark eyes would remain unseen, especially since she went ahead and cast a cloak to make her invisible to the regular eye. She was curious. She didn't know exactly why these people's lives drew her so much interest. Though, usually about now, she'd wisely suggest just letting this girl go, as apparently that's what the fight was over. Ryuu smothered another cough, just thinking about how the trojan war was started by Helen of Troy. So much trouble for one stupid girl.

Sparrow would give a slight sweatdrop at the drama. All this for that kinda thing? She was almost ashamed to be watching. Oh cry me a River, she thought with a dull expression.

Sparrow would sweatdrop more, hanging her head. She would be biting her hand to keep herself from laughing. Overwhelming my backend she'd think again, biting her hand so hard it was starting to bleed. The cloak would prevent the smell from escaping though, so she would remain undetected for the most part. She'd listen to Kimi's story and then she'd stop laughing, laughing ceasing for several reasons. This is.... sad.. all completely sad.

He's talking about me. I had some stern words with her because she was royally pissing me off with shit I've already discussed with her.

It went past that point. She can fucking do that. It was just the method she did it that was wrong.

Again, I've already had words with her over the topic before, warning her to watch herself. Drama occasionally is fine, but a drama monarch who won't stop is someone who gets the axe.

Sparrow would appear right back in the bar, lounging upon one of the benches in the back that was part of a booth. She had shoved the table completely off to one side to give her lounging space. Great, now she was bored and had no way of entertaining herself. Well, that wasn't entirely true. She looked across the way and her deep set, dark eyes with an imposing stare locked on the form of Vampiric-Rage. Again, the poor bastard. He needed a decent friend, that was certain. But after witnessing the... whatever the hell it was... she decided now might not exactly be the proper timing.

However, Ryuu decided to mess with the climate control over her little spot. She'd snap her fingers once, it'd snow on the table, she'd snap them again, it'd be breezy. She wouldn't stop until she got to a temperature that was comfortably humid. Surprisingly, those words went together quite well. Without really thinking of it, a raincloud would appear over Rage's head, the little black cloud raining on the male's shoulders and head.

Sparrow would kind of jump back to attention after a little while. Rage was probably soaked by now since the little cloud would've been following him around everywhere. She'd snap her fingers again and the little cloud of gloom would disappear. She brought her hand up to her face and let loose a loud cough. Ugh, they were always so nasty. She'd rub her eyes and then look around again. She spotted a Minotaur. It'd been a while since she last saw one of those things. She'd then shake it off and walk up to the bar. "Eh, Think I could get some food here or do I have to go somewhere else?" she asked the Bartender.

Sparrow was sound asleep in her booth. She kind of snapped back awake upon realizing that there is a Pokemon battle going on in the middle of the bar. "What the.." she commented as she looked around. Her dark eyes then fell upon the weird looking creatures and she sighed. Maybe there'd be something else to do, someone else to talk to instead of paying attention to such weirdness.

Sparrow would smirk slightly. "No, I'm pretty sure it's a giggle, you goon," she said. She was getting a little irritated already with the chains dangling in front of her that she reached up and grabbed onto a link, sending it red hot. The longer she held on, the further up the chain links it would go.

Sparrow would give a light smirk. "No, they're fine as long as they're not in my face," She stated as she looked at him. She would look over at Katana Ashigaru next, a little more interesting that the dog in front of her.
