Susan Quillera

"Denied a family, always seen as a monster.... What is my purpose in a world that only fears me for the end..."

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Haunter

Description

Susan Quilleria was an abandoned creature, found beneath an ancient satanic worshiping cathedral known as Hulgante, The Gate. She has dragon wings with a span of 14 feet across, two talons emerge from the end of the wing bones. Her fingers and toes are tipped with razor sharp talons, and a long tail snakes down from just below her waist line, ending in a some what kite shaped tip made of the same thing as her scales.. She is flat chested, due to a scaley breast plate that runs from her collar bones to her navel. From her wrists to her elbows, and from her ankles to her knees, are scales following the contours of her muscles. She has needle sharp spines instead of hair, and they are very mobile and help her display her mood. Her teeth are carnivorous, with only canine's for biting and gripping. Two horns protude just past the hairline and curve up and over her hair spines. She wears low ride jeans, to allow her tail to hang out. She cannot wear shoes because of her clawed feet, and her chest plates make wearing a shirt redundant. Her eyes have red irises and the pupils are slitted, but aside from this her face is femenine in nature. She is 18 years old.
Personality
Susan Quilleria, or Susie Q as her friends call her, was born and raised as an orphan. She spent the most part of her life hidden inside a giant cathedral made for worshipping the devil, and as such when she was finally discovered, she was mistaken for a demon of some kind. In truth she is the cross breeding of a dragon and a human, and that knowledge helps her sleep at night better than being a demon ever did.

Susan doesn't like the way she looks, primarially because she's is so obviously visible. She cannot hide her face with makeup, nor her "hair" with a hat. She cannot wear shoes without tearing throug them, and her biggest problem with herself is the fact that not only is she flat chested, but she cannot develop mammary glands in the first place. In order to make herself look more human, She folds her wings around her waist to make a sort of dress, with her tail wrapped over it like a belt. The result has been likened to a female Assasin, without the top.

Susan is a teenager, which means that she has to deal with the terror of hormone imbalance. She has it worse than humans however, as her hormones cause her to produce a unique oil like substance over her body, which is highly flammable. The same oil fills her quills, and is toxic to humans, making her incredibly dangerous quite by accident. Aware of this as she is, she tries to keep calm and out of drama inducing situations. This however, is harder to do than you might think.

"The worst part is gonna be finding a boyfriend who's nimble enough to not get stabbed by my hair at night."

History
Susan was born in a universe where earth suffered a complete economic collapse. The government cut and run and the mob took control in it's place. They kept there noses out of everyones business, unless they were paid to get into it. A tribal system based on gangs rose, and territories were divided, one such territory was know as The Devils Three. Three Satanic churches at the corners of a triangular wall, centered by a massive, black, barbed and inaccessible Cathedral. Underneath that cathedral was Susan Quilleria. She was discovered by two other Orphans, Shae and Amy, and together those three became a family, which then turned into a gang as those people who went into the devils three to escape conflict, raised up arms to protect the three children they had grown to love.

At odd times, Susan's body turns into a solid statue of Amethyst. The gemification is actually a teleportation, as Susan Quilleria is pulled across the multiverse by spells of summoning and binding. In the first instance of this phenomemon, Susan only wished to return home. It is possible however, for Susan to leave behind an amethyst stone, invoking which will summon the girl to it's location....

So begins...

Susan swam through the water, looking primarily for fish or turtle eggs, or her personal favorite treat, sea snakes. It was right after finding, and catching, a nest of the latter that she began swimming towards the nearest shore. Sea snakes were slippery, and so it was always better to get them out of the water as soon as possible.

Her chosen route, however, took her to the shore right in front of the strange man with his broken helmet and spear. She had her back to him, pulling the mass of wriggling sea snakes as best she could, the talons of her wings being used to for extra leverage against the creatures.

Kyle would see before him a dragon winged woman with horns peaking from her forehead, who's hair was in fact a nest of sharp quills. Amythest colored scales contoured to her fore arms and shins, as well as her chest, and a long tail equal to her height and a half, flipped through the sand as she struggled against the nest of writhing sea snakes she carts out of the water, using the webbing of her wings as a sort of net to help carry them.

The sun continued it's slow descent into the deep blue horizon of the sea, the far end of the sky beginning to turn black as the stars emerged from their veil of light. Providing their own majestic image on the blank canvas of the skies itself, an eternal image hanging above the heads of those who inhabit this world, frozen in the relative times of life itself, slowly but surely burning themselves out into the eventual cataclysm of the late universe.

It wasn't only the skies which beamed their own stories, but the beautiful creation of life itself. Present in a myriad of shapes and sizes, an abundant existence in such a vast universe. But also hostile to those of difference, raised in isolation from their alien neighbours to the point of discriminating fear of anything with differing physiology. Of course, there were the exceptions of this law. Broken minds, experienced bodies, ancient powers, life which had surpassed reality itself held a strange form of sympathy with it's differing brethren with little to no reaction to an appearance.

"It would be easier you killed them, electricity tends to do the trick." The monotone voice mumbled through the confines of the helmet as the exposed, deep green eye shifted to the creature. Still leaning against his spear, the man raised his hand in a gesture of realisation as he slowly placed it upon the intact side of the helmet, "Of course, animals tend to do what they want with no understanding of a sophisticated language." He spoke out to himself, a form of vocal thinking as his feet were placed more firmly on the ground, his free hand hung out of it's pocket as a casual form of defensive stance. Just in case such a creature should be hostile to those different to itself.

Susan continued hefting the slithering snakes up the side of the beach, pulling them as hard as she could, and doubtlessly losing a few of them. That was alright though, she thought to herself, Even just a couple of em cooked up is a great snack.

As she pulled she turned to look behind her to see where she would start her cooking fire, and looked right into the one green eye of Kyle. She would freeze then, the only movement being that of the snakes that continued to wriggle free. She wasn't used to seeing others, and she couldn't help but notice he was carrying a rather large spear. So instinct took over and she froze there, not moving a muscle as she watched him with her breath held.

After standing there like that, if he didn't say or do anything in return, she would shakily cough, not having used her voice in many years, and say "H-hello..."

Linus Trucidabunt walked past most of the usual openings people used, for the winery or just to get down to the beach, and walked for a bit. He was still silent. He didn't look at Carmen, though he could hear her behind him.

Sol was no longer in the sky and past the horizon. As the last shadows of the day turned into night, Linus chose his entrance and ducked into it. At first it was pitch black. Eventually the slow curve of the tunnel was dimly lit by a bioluminescent moss. It took a minute or two to get here. Linus walked with big steps, though gentle.

Carmen Dellevon followed Linus. Should she be worried? This man owed her nothing, or her family.

What if she wasn't safe?

Carmen hesitated before she decided to ultimately follow Linus into the tunnel. Thank goodness for her sensical boot choice!

Linus Trucidabunt continued for about ten minutes in silence through the dimly lit tunnel. Down a short set of stairs. To the left at a dual fork, then through the middle when three ways presented themselves. There they sloped down, down, down, in a wiggledy way that wasn't quite a spiral. Another fork where Linus went right, a narrow part off a curve that didn't seem like they were supposed to be taking it that again plunged into pitch darkness.

It was while they were squeezing through, the rock absorbing almost all the sound of their voices, that he shot back at Carmen, "You're not the Don Dellevon, are yeh?"

Carmen Dellevon froze for an instant, then continued on. Her heart skipped a beat.

Linus Trucidabunt couldn't help but snort. Was she being forreal?

"That explain the murder charge?"

Linus Trucidabunt wasn't too sure about that, but laughed all the same.

The crack opened up into another hallway split three ways. Linus went left. It curved down into darkness. The sound of crashing waves grew louder and louder. At the end of the curve were six very tall, very shallow steps down.

"Watch yer step," Linus warned Carmen. He picked down them. They led to a tunnel that pitched harshly downward. It was brighter towards the end, where it was the most damp. If the sun was out, it would have been a little dancing circle where the tunnel opened up onto the beach.

Linus did not continue down the tunnel. Instead he turned into a crack in the wall that couldn't be seen until you were basically inside of it. It opened up immediately to another tunnel that pitched sharply down and towards the sounds of the sea - though the crashing sounded a little more echo-y.

Linus Trucidabunt hopped down the last single step into a small cavern occupied by two pools and a strange looking ship. The first pool he wouldn't go near if you paid him. It was the force of the water rushing in. Death trap. A good trap, for intruders. A death trap. It was the only apparent way in and out of the cavern aside the secret crack he had gone through. That's not the way they would be going.

The second pool was still, fed water from what seemed to be an impossibly deep pool that must have, somehow, lead out to the ocean. Every now and again the first pool splashed and spilled over, causing the vessel that bobbed there to sway.

Thick glowing moss dangled from the ceiling and climbed up the walls, lighting the room with an eerie dim.

Carmen Dellevon watched as Linus gestured at the DT Waterbird, a DT-6600 Daughtap Underwater Type, tapped buttons on his phone, and got inside. She took his hand and accepted his help with a smile, hoping that there was nothing bad between them.
