TETRS (called 'Tetris') is a military organization that operates outside the normal chain of Terran military command. TETRS is a small but effective organization, recruiting only the best that Terra has to offer, training and preparing them for any combat-related circumstances. The special forces of the Terran military, TETRS troopers are promptly dispatched into any situation that might threaten Terran security.

TETRS troopers are equipped with a wide variety of weapons and armor, the most prominent being the ANDEE Battle Suit.

ANDEE
Armored Neurologically-Directed Enhanced Exoskeleton

Designed by Cleo Eriaji and worked on extensively by a host of Terran scientists, the ANDEE represents the pinnacle of Terran infantry defensive technologies. The ANDEE is composed of the strongest materials throughout galaxy, including:

Impervium: a dislocated metal alloyed from the alien metals pullum and silicis, found on the planet Fundam, located in the Carina-Sagittarius Arm of the Milky Way galaxy. Pullum and silicis are smelted together to alloy impervium, but only through extreme heat. Impervium has a solidus point of 1.3 million degrees Fahrenheit, and a liquidis point of 1.5 million degrees Fahrenheit.

Exceptionally tough, hard and durable, impervium is the metal alloy used in the Terran ANDEE. The entire Plate of the armor is almost completely comprised of impervium. Because of its superior strength and high-melting point, the alloy is practically impervious to lead, plasma, and most other piercing, heat or smashing attacks. Impervium is also extremely magnetic (30,000 gauss), and is in fact held together in the ANDEE design via a series of densely energized internal magnetic fields.

Muteki: a metallic liquid found on the planet Peniculus in the Crux-Scutum Arm of the Milky Way galaxy, Muteki has been christened “Tek” by TETRS troopers. Muteki liquid has the ability to absorb massive amounts of energy, a trait which proved extremely useful in furthering the defensive capabilities of the ANDEE. The substance was molecularly frozen and incorporated into the armor. A thick layer is plastered over the Plate, while a Muteki “gel” substance flows freely throughout the Pillar. Two densely concentrated “gems” of Muteki are also embedded in the palms of the ANDEE.

The ANDEE armor consists of four layers: The Plate, Pillar, Foam and Skin.

Plate: the outer section of the armor, and the only layer that is completely exposed to the environment. The Plate is constructed entirely out of high carbon impervium, a dislocated metal alloyed from alien elements. Only the hellish core of a Neutron Star (1.5 Million ºF) can generate the heat required to forge impervium.

Pillar: an elastic shell just below the Plate. It serves a myriad of important purposes essential to the functionality of the ANDEE. Its primary function is structural support. The Pillar keeps the ANDEE closely knitted together through a series of densely energized magnetic fields. The Pillar is also responsible for movement throughout the system. A neurological transmitter at the base of a TETRS trooper's neck connects to his central nervous system. The pathway collects chemical signals released by the brain and transmits them into kinetic action. Whatever the trooper tells the suit to do in his mind, it does. The Pillar seals the remaining two layers of armor, air-locking the trooper from a potentially hostile environment. Muteki Gel flows freely throughout the Pillar, offering significant protection and further absorption of energy concentrates.

The Foam: a thick layer of protective foam separating the Pillar from the Skin. Engineered to absorb up to 10 million Newtons of force, the Foam is capable of protecting the trooper's structure from even the most powerful exertion of force or shock wave of energy.

Skin: the final layer of the ANDEE. Thin and tight, it clings closely to the trooper's body like a jumpsuit. The Skin is responsible for accommodating all of the trooper's biological needs, as well as maintaining reasonable living conditions throughout ANDEE in general. An extensive temperature regulator keeps the entire suit at a safe temperature in even the most extreme environments, while a thermal disruptor nullifies his heat signature. A particle filter prevents any poisons or toxins from entering into the trooper's system, including radiation and electromagnetic waves. The Skin's bioscan technology sterilizes and seals any prevalent injuries upon detection (although series medical attention is not something ANDEE is able to give). Jutting from the Skin along the shoulders, back, and quadriceps are a series of energy generators, which supply a constant shield of densely protective energy around the Plate, in addition to the Muteki Gel coat.

Directly in the center chest plate of the ANDEE is the Fusion Reactor. Arguably the most important piece of the armor, the Fusion Reactor supplies seemingly limitless power to the ANDEE.[/size]

The Irishman looked incredulously at the Neko as he laid out, plain-and-simple, the rules for murder. It was all so clear-cut and professional. Almost humorously so. Here he was, being lectured about the dos-and-donts of contracted assassination by a Neko boy wearing a ninja custom. Good God, if Amadi could see him now.

"...aight'... I'm having a seat..." the man assumed the bar stool gruffly, "and I'm going to offer you a job. Plain n' simple. It's not any single contract. It's not a face or a body or any specific breathin' person. It'll be the most dangerous, grueling thing you've ever done, and you will almost certainly die a horrible, painful death at the hands of some nefarious terrorist organization. You will be asked to kill indiscriminately, women, children, the works. You will do some very terrible things. But in the end, you will be your own boss, and you will be paid very, very well."

The Irishman drew a deep breath, glad to be over with the rehearsed speech. "Now do you want some clarification? Or are you ready to say 'no' so I can get the fuck out of here? This is the strangest thing I've ever done and I'm former Terran SpecOps."

"That all sounds pretty much like what I normally do, except you sound like you're from the government so I get the benefit of holding you guys to blackmail if I do it. So sure, why not?" he said with a shrug. "Beats spending my days sitting in local bars hoping rich millionaires inexplicably walk in to hire me to kill their enemies and rivals and shit. Jesus christ, if this is strange you really need to get out more."

The Irishman shrugged. In a world like Terra, he supposed that this was relatively mild.

"Good point," he extended his hand, "name's Pat, by the way. Most call me Candycane. My callsign." He perked a curious brow. "Your Norrington, I take it. Unless you'd rather I call y'something else. Some adorable feline-themed name, perhaps? Mittens? Mr. Tinkles?"

He beckoned the bartender and ordered a drink, looking back to Norrington. "Y'want something?"

"Jesus christ," Norrington uttered, glancing at the hand as if he suspected attack, then back to the mans face, "I've never met someone so informed and yet so uninformed. I'm Assassin, capital A. I don't take anything from anyone except for anonymous donations to bank accounts hosted by untouchable companies. That means drinks. That means cash. That means anything. So who the fuck sent you and didn't give you my 'Gambit's Bar' file of literally announcing my willingness to murder for a fee in a public place?" He was irritable, mostly because he suspected that there was something more going on here than being hired for a normal hit. And he wasn't sure how he felt about that.

"So state your god damn business already."

"Alright," Pat nodded, "to the point. I can respect that." He reclined against the bar. "It's real simple, really. We're puttin' a team together. New team. Very quiet. Very secret-like. We want you to be a part of it. Serve your country. Do your duty. All that jazz." He shrugged as a beer was slid over to him. He sipped at it mildly. "What's important, and what you'll want to know, is that you'll be practically working for yourself. You'll be given vague orders at best and all the resources and money in the world to see em' through, any way you like. Lotta money too, though you may not have all that much time to spend it."

He set the beer down, exhaling contently. "There's a lot more to it then that, o'course, but that stuff's better suited for a more disclosed location." He looked back to Norrington. "All I need from you now is an expressed interest. Yes or no. Either way, I walk out of here. If it's a yes, we contact you at a later time. If no, then the next time you see me, it's probably because I've been sent to kill you."

"You're trying to arrange a team that don't work together to do stuff which you're not going to tell me until a later date for money I'm not going to get to spend." He nodded. "That sounds like assassin work alright. I'm in. But I have my on guy I want on the team. Someone I've worked with under wraps for a while." He paused to raise a hand to scratch at his nose with a lone finger. "Y'kind've gambled pretty hardcore there. I wouldn't have answered 'no', I just would have jumped to the killing part. Fuck might change my mind and do it anyway when you walk out the door."

"Well that's just the risk we both took when I sat down at this stool and you let me, isn't it?" Pat shrugged. He took out a pen and scribbled some info on a napkin. "Send the profile of your man to that web address. Delete the e-mail you sent it through once your done." With that, the soldier rose. "We'll be seeing more of each other, Norrington, unless one of us gets killed soon." He turned, heading for the door and looking over his shoulder only once.

"Welcome to the team."

Norrington stared at the napkin. Well fuck. He hadn't listened to a god damn thing the Assassin said. He would sit there for a good minute staring at the note before deciding it wasn't worth the risk, and promptly exiting via shadow-walk in the corner. He had a man to go inform. Fuck 'em all, if they were going to be vague about the details he was going to keep his back up unlisted.
