Textelus Firilicus

A tough Half-Elf warrior, she seems normal on the oustside.

0 · 1,633 views · located in The Gambit Building

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Tardisfreak

Description

Physical Description
Tex is a Human-Elf hybrid, with pointed ears and rough red hair that contrast her emerald eyes. She with a well built body that is small but sturdy. She keeps her right shoulder covered at all times, and has seen lots of conflict in her past. She is almost 312 years old, looks somewhere around 24 thanks to her Elven genes. Although she is good looking by Elven standards, you can see a certain tired glow in her eyes, much like a war veteran who has seen to much death in their time.
Image
Personality
She has a very lax and emotionally guarded personality but tends to loose control of her self when angry.
Tex has a tendency to be very passionate about things she has become attached to whether it be people or foods.
Tex has opened up more to the world as time has gone by, but she never loses her tough spirit and almost grouchy and tired appearance.

Equipment & Abilities
Underneath her clothes Tex has a special black suit of armor made of paladin steel, one of the strongest, lightest materials ever forged. This can also fold over her into a full suit at a moments notice.
She is a master in almost every combat form, and is an expert with weapons.
Due to the genetic modification she underwent Tex has possibly limitless physical power at her disposal, that is most active when she is extremely angry.

History
As a baby Tex was always cheerful and happy around people, especially her Human mother, but and as she got older her mother would always comfort and protect her from harm. But when she was six years old her mother was killed right in front of her eyes, and soon after her Elven father went into a depression. Being Half Elf and Half Human she was bullied immensely among her classmates for being different but her father snapped out of his depression, and gave Tex the encouragement to carry on. Soon after she dyed her hair red, showing pride in her difference and began to study different forms of combat and weapon usage. After almost 79 years she left E-Theria and continued her training with the greatest combat masters all across the universe, soon becoming one of the most deadly bounty hunters in the universe, and was well known for her savagery and skill in her line of work. She had many adventures with various friends, before she was kidnapped and tested on, greatly increasing her strength, stamina, and all other physical far beyond that of any creature in existence. Her friends rescued her and they had many more adventures before they all separated and settled down. Tex was later hired along with other subjects of around the same experiments to be part of a special team that hunted these scientists down and punished them. This organization is so secret that as far as most governments are concerned, Tex dose not exist in the universe.

So begins...

Tex walked up to the bar and pulled her hood down shaking her ears loose and stared up above the door. It was raining, which made it harder to read the already dark neon sign. After confirming that it was the right bar she stepped inside.

The bartender watched as the new customer walked in, she was different than most of the woman who came here, she radiated power, and the way her eyes glinted in the dim light, she had seen lots of shit.

Tex sat down at the bar and lowered her head. her loose red hair falling over her eyes. She drifted into her own thoughts. Images Lab tables, containment tanks, and bright lights kept returning to her mind. "What'll you be drinkin?", the bartender jolted Tex back to reality ,and she raised her head slightly " Oak Ale", the bartender raised his eye brows and turned around to get the drink "Strange request, your not from around here are you?", Tex sighed and pulled down her hood "Dose it matter". The bartender handed Tex a mug of Oak ale and leaned in "Not especially", "E-Theria, though I haven't been back there in a long time". "Oh, the elven planet huh, you a-", Tex interrupted the bartender before taking a swing from her mug "Half-Elf, not the easiest way to grow up in a place where everyone thinks your a freak"

The doors opened and a man walked in looking around before sitting down beside Tex and ordered a beer then, turning toward Tex. "Agent Six", "I go by Tex...how long has it been?". The man turned back toward the bar and took a drink from his beer "Thirty years, and you know we wouldn't come to you unless we found them". Tex sighed, staring at her ale "So what do you want me to do?" the man pulled a file out from under his coat, and handed it to Tex "We need you come in and take care of it with some new agents. Everything you need to know is in those documents" the man got up and left a few coins on the bar "We will see you in the morning I presume?". Tex stared deeply into the mug, pondering the options. "Yeah, I'll be there", Tex took a long drink from the mug before, tossing coins onto the bar, pulling her hood up, and walking out into the rainy night.

An Elf woman with red hair and bright emerald eyes walked in and sat to the right of Flame. "Oak Ale, if you please" she grunted at the bar tender, Tex sighed and arched her back. It had been a hard day, first the recruits were a bunch of numb skulls who could barley do anything right, then a support beam collapsed and she had to be the one to help fix it. It wasn't even her fault, sure she had thrown the kid but he should have known better than to try and surprise her.

Lately it seemed like she was all wound up, she needed sometime to relax. If only, Tex sighed again and took a long drink from the mug, god knows what all this stress would do to her.

Tex was couching beside the table, watching Omitsu. "Morning sleeping beauty, you have a nice nap?" She was sipping a small mug of some drink and had obviously been watching Omitu for a while. She shook her red hair out of her eyes and stared at him with intent emerald eyes "Well, you gonna talk to me or what?"

Omitsu Hiroyuki Omitsu was taken completely off guard by the voice that was obviously directed at him. He had been waking up in the opposite direction after all. With a thud, he gave a slight jump and hit his head from under the bar table. His tangled hair was a mess from his odd sleeping arrangements and travel and still covered most of him up. His still drowsily-expressed eyes turned to Textelus, nervously studying her. "...hi...good morning...afternoon?" He stated, his voice as equally as androgynous as his appearance and the trail of a foreign accent on his words. Who was this person? Omitsu studied her bright, red hair with curiosity and wonder for a moment.

Tex took another drink from the mug she held and stifled a small laugh as Omitsu hit his head. After all the things that had happened recently, this guy could probably lighten her mood. "So who are you, and where are you from?". Tex studied Omitsu up and down, she didn't recognize any particular traits that would suggest human, but at the same time she couldn't be sure he was anything else. She set the mug on the table above, and cracked her knuckles slowly , then noticing he was staring at something on her. She looked herself over herself before realizing that it was her red hair he was interested in. She leaned in slowly "This? Its just my hair, you can touch it if you want to", then put up a warning finger "But no pulling".

Omitsu Hiroyuki A blush crept up on Omitsu's high cheek bones after hitting his head. It was embarrassing to think he was as shy as he was being from the family line he was from. But it just could be helped. This...person, Tex, was something else. Omitsu could almost smell conflict on her. Moreso, he could feel that she had been in battle before. Looking at Omitsu, one wouldnt think he knew a thing about combat. Aside from being a bit dirty from travel, he looked almost too frail or domesticated to have ever spilled blood. "Who are me?" He asked, still surprised by the direct question. He corrected himself quickly however. "Who am I?" He felt safe to give his name. No slaver or bounty hunter would recognize him here, or so his thinking went. "Omitsu....I am called..Mitsu" He replied. He didnt give his last name nor state where he was from. He hoped the question would go unasked a second time. At the mention of her hair, his eyes quickly darted away in embarrassment. He hadnt meant to stare but the color was so vibrant. But at the offer to touch it, he couldnt help himself. He moved closer to her gingerly, more of his delicate and feminine features showing now. A slender hand peeked out of his jacket and touched the brightly scarlet locks. A small smile formed on his lips for a moment.

Tex exhaled what could have only been a ghost of a laugh, and closed her eyes. "Well its nice to meet you Mitsu, my name is Textelus, but just call me Tex". She opened her eyes and looked Omitsu up and down. It was hard to tell exactly what she was looking at here, everything about this person suggested that they were a girl, but going on instinct made it fell like they should be a boy. No, that was absurd. Tex dismissed the thought and reached up to grab the mug, and the beginning of a tattoo on her right arm was flashed for a second. Tex took another drink from her mug and belched loudly, then wiped her mouth and moved some hair out of her eyes. Girl, she thought after getting another look at Omitsu, it had to be. It sure as heck wasn't anything else. "Whats a frail little girl like you doing all the way out here?"

Omitsu Hiroyuki Omitsu's hand continued to idly play with the bright red strands of hair. It was obvious that the young man had never seen hair of this color before. This land as a whole, was strange to him. His almond shaped eyes still fixated on the hair as he attempted to pronounce her full first name. "Textuter....texsuterr." But then is relieved when the shorter version arrives. "Tex..." He mimicked. A small nod of acknowledgement took him away from Tex's hair to the swift display of her tattoo. Omitsu was no stranger to body ink and it peaked his curiosity. He still did not know who this woman was and where he was from, tattoos showed a lot of who someone was. His manners and desire not to be rude won the day however and his gaze did not linger. He had been so focused on Tex's hair so much so what he had not noticed her studying him; attempting to identify his sex. Omitsu got this a lot and was somewhat used to this assumption. Though he didnt always mind the mix up, it sometimes frustrated him to be treated like a girl right off the bat. So when the question came, it hit him like a moose kicking him to the face. His blundering and embarrassed expression would have only been obvious to the most keen, however. The blush was only for a second, and in that second, Omitsu realized that this moment could hide him all the more. "Frail little girl?" He asked, his speech still dripping with a small accent. "Who says I'm frail?" He attempted to give an indignant expression, but it was mixed up in his startled state.

Tex cursed herself mentally, she usually wasn't so dull and quick with assumptions. What was going on today, did she have to much to drink? Tex looked into the mug, it was almost empty. That could mean a couple of things, and the options did not seem very possible. Again mentally cursing, Tex covered her eyes with her hand "Sorry, but usually I don't see a lot of girls who don't take a small interest in bulking up. No offence". To show her point she flexed her muscles, even though they weren't very impressive. "So where are you from, and what are you doing here?". Her emerald eyes flashed suddenly as Omitsu's hand found a sweet spot on her head, and she let out a sort of half whine-half groan of pleasure.

Carl A door bursts open on the other side of the room, causing Tex and Omitsu to jump, and a man in his mid- to late twenties stumbles out singing something about digging a hole off-key. With his frizzly brown hair and crossed turquoise eyes, he seems as if he has recently been shocked. He spies the two and, staggering over, orders a drink from the two. "You ladies are bartenders, right? I need another whiskey." he said. "I think I'm starting to sober up." he added under his breath. "C'mon! I'm not getting any drunker!"

Tex turned around with one raised eye brow. Who the heck is this guy? "What? Uh, no I don't work here" Tex looked the guy over, nothing seemed to absurd except for the fact that his hair was sticking out in almost every possibly direction. Her head began to hurt, that was unusual. She didnt get head aches very often, and when she did it was usually because she had hit something.

Omitsu Hiroyuki Omitsu eyed her flexing muscles. They were, of course, bigger than his. "I guess...I've just never been able to be larger..." He replied. Omitsu was from a clan steeped in warrior traditions. He was a skilled combatant himself, or was. Years of being kept captive, especially in very domestic roles, may have dulled his skills a bit. He did not know. Upon hearing the question about why he was here, he stalled, not knowing how to answer. "I...um.." He let out a startled little gasp as he seemed to have triggered something. He thought he had done something wrong by touching Tex on a wound. "Oh my...I'm so sorry!" He exclaimed apologetically with his hand instantly retracting. "I didnt mean..." He was cut off by Carl's startling entrance, giving a jump out of his seat for a moment. His bright brown eyes took in the figure for a moment and then looked back to Tex. And for some reason, this made him more self conscious. He began to run his fingers down his waist-length hair to straighten out the tangles. As he sat down, he his face contorted into a pout once more at being called a lady, but it only took a second to remember he was using this as a disguise. He looked back up to Tex then to Carl once more. "I dont work here either sir.." He replied softly.

Tex sat down rubbing her temples. The pounding in her head was getting worse, this couldn't just be a coincidence. Was it the Ale she drank? Tex picked the mug up and inspected all sides, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. She ran her finger around the edges, a very fine white powder was laced to her finger. Warning bells went off in her head, only making the steady pounding worse. She sniffed the mug, there it was, a sickly sweet smell mixed in with the usual tart and almost buttery smell of the Ale. Someone had drugged her, or at least tried to, it wasn't taking a hard effect but it was fast acting. Tex glanced around the room, anyone could have done this, but she was off radar, so who knew about her? Where were they hiding? Her, head all of a sudden, felt like it had been hit with a steel baseball bat, and everything went dark for a few seconds. When sight returned the pounding had been replaced with more of a banging, like something was trying to break out of her skull, this was torture. Tex lay her head down slowly, grimacing at every throb that racked her skull, would this ever stop?

"Goddamnit!" he cursed, "What does it take to get a drink around here? I'm already miserable enough as it is." He shuffled over to an empty chair and started sobbing. "Sarah! Whyyyyy? You were the only one who made me happy!" He took out his wallet and pulled out a strip of photos from one of those photo booths. They all feature him and a woman with blonde hair and brown eyes wearing a shirt that says, "You know what's odd? Numbers not divisible by 2." A tear falls onto the strip as he curls into a ball in the corner sobbing. He seems to clean himself up a bit, looks at Tex and says, "Are you sure you can't get me a drink? I'll buy."

Tex groaned in pain when Carl shouted, and spasms of pain bolted through her head. Everything started to go blurry and Tex covered her head, gritting her teeth against the pounding that racked her skull. "Yeah, sure I'll buy you one. Just. Just hurry up". Tex was unsure if a beer would actually help, at this point she would do anything to stop the pounding in her head. It just wouldn't stop, what was happening here anyway? What was happening with her?

Omitsu Hiroyuki "...are you alright Miss?" Omitsu inquired, shifting his gaze from Carl to Tex once more. Was she drunk? She had to be. It looked like she was drinking. Something just didnt seem right though. Omitsu having worked for a few years in an okiya, he knew the effects of alcohol very well. Looking back to Carl, he seemed more on the drunk side than Tex. All of this, however, was so much to take in. It was sensory overload. Every instinct told him to run while he could. But something held him in place. "Tex?" He asked again in a softer tone, leaning his head closer as she lowered her's. His attention couldnt help but turn back on the shouting man. Carl made him even more nervous. "Tex...let me..." He stated as she agreed to get him a drink. There was no tender and Omitsu used to serve alcohol....what was the worst that could go wrong. He gently rose from where he was to the back of the bar and poured what he could find: a dark ale, head foaming at the top and almost overflowing. Beer was not what he was used to serving, but it would do. He gingerly moved back over to the sobbing Carl, knelt beside him and presented him the mug. "Here you are Sir.." He stated, almost memorized, his tone as soft and as gentle as his whole appearance. He had to tuck some his hair back in to his shirt as it was touching the floor as he knelt.

Tex felt as if her head was being slowly and painfully disintegrated. Someone had drugged her, and she knew they were here, they knew she knew. How long would it be until they struck. Tex tried to stand up, but fell to her knees. The pain in her head soon racked through her entire body. Her limbs felt like lead, it was so hard to move, but she was in danger here, I have to move. Move, move, move, Tex repeated the command through her head and slowly pulled herself up an a table, and closed her eyes, gritting her teeth against the pain. Something wet rolled down her neck and Tex reached up and felt her forehead which to her surprised, was covered in sweat. Tex felt dizzy, out of the corner of her eye she caught sight of some movement. She began to breath heavily now, her eyelids grew heavy, stay awake, stay awake, she repeated this command desperately in her head ,gripping the table until the wood cracked. A woman in a long hooded cloak stopped in front of her and smiled before walking toward Omitsu.

Omitsu Hiroyuki It would only be now that Omitsu would truly think something was wrong. After handing the beer to Carl, he immediately moved back to the woman. "Are...are you sick?" No, she wouldnt have had symptoms so quickly. He knelt down again to inspect her mug and then noticed her wet forehead. And just as the conclusion dawned on him, he was within the shadow of a cloak. Looking up, he eyed the smiling woman, still crouched down with the mug in hand. He was frozen, unsure of what to do.

Tex was breathing hard and coughing now, but managed to squeezed out four words "Get......away......from......her", after saying this Tex was racked by coughing, sinking to her knees and releasing the table which had had been crushed under her grip.

The woman took Omitsu's shoulder lightly, but firmly, and Omitsu felt the barrel of a gun press against his back. "Dear dear Six, you never thought we lost you did you? Upon hearing the herself be called Six, Tex growled and attempted to rise, but fell back down. The woman seemed to enjoy this "Your just as strong as they said you were, that's good. We have a containment vehicle outside, you are not going to resist or the girl will get hurt. Though by my calculations this little bundle of trouble is a lot bounty that I could collect".

Tex coughed again, and spat out some blood. The woman watched this and made Omitsu rise "Thats Ithernoxide, your strong enough to survive Six. Stand up" She cocked the gun "Or you know what happened" Tex groaned with effort, and managed to stand up, leaning on a table. "I'm......gonna........hurt..........you". "Yes, yes Six. Move along".
