The 1st Catachen regiment look up the incline with a few of them looking at it in horror. They had never since such a huge, steep incline. The Tanks of the 122th Cadian were sitting a mile from the hill with the 1st Catachen. There was now Four regiments sitting at the spot looking up to this huge hill. Tank Commanders were already aiming at targets and noting them through the Mago glasses. The 2nd Cadian Infantry were getting ready while The 1st Catachen were ready but waiting for the order to go.

Over back 5 miles from the rest of the attack force was the Artillery Crews of the 697th Death Krops of Krieg Artillery. Most of them were waiting for the order to start hitting the rock with the heavier weapons like the Earthshakers and the Minmi Artillery piece. Bigger than the others this piece had 3 huge Modified Earthershaker Cannons and a range of defence weapons including 3 twin linked Heavy bolter and a set of 2 las-cannons. The beast was huge and in the back round of the regiment. As the order was given large thuds came from the regiment most shaking the ground 3 miles away from the regiment but when the Minmi opened up all three at once the thud was an area of 70 miles. Making most building in the area fall down or crack in two.

As Stracken could hear the shells coming down onto the traitors at the top of the hill he watched in Horror as the shells were ripping up the hill making huge craters for them it hide in and making the incline worse. He calls for the barrage to be stopped before he would have to start sending men into the zone in Gunships. There was a squadron of Gunships waiting for the barrage to stop so they could cover the attack on the hill named 'Hill 2109' Stracken knew this was going to be the traitor's last stand and he was going to make it as bad as he could to them. "Open fire and start moving NOW!"

The order was given and the men started the attack onto the hill. The enemy had no chance to stop this attack and they knew that but were going to fight to the end. The tanks start to rumble towards the hill firing their weapons at the hill adding thier firepower to the already heavy assault for the hill. Landslides started to come down hill killing more traitors, than the Artillery but the Artillery caused the landslides so they had in a way...killed them.

The Gunships that were sitting there were ready for Combat and were about to take off Orders were being put out to everyone in the attack force. The whole aim of this force was to show the people of Terra that the Imperial regiments and the PDF regiments were ready to kill any one who dared to turn sides against the government and to show that Traitors would just be killed. Most of the gunships were off the ground now and as the last one took off they all started to go to the war zone. Everyone had planned thier part with great pin point sectors. If the attack failed the Imperial Fleet was over head ready to take the zone with a bombardment.

As the Tanks start moving the Guardsmen do so to. Most of the First Catachan were about eight hundred metres away from the hill when the fight started. The enemy could not het the heavy weapons to take the tanks out but they had assault rifles and were taking men from the 4Th Cadian down with the heavy fire. These traitors were low on ammo but they fired like headless chickens. The assault force however had the weapons and supplies to take this hill over a month but Stracken wanted it on this very day and so did the Commanders of each regiment as they looked on their maps back at head quarters but Stracken was the only member of high Command that was in the battle for the hill. Weapons were blasting onto the enemy with brute force and the traitors were failing to kill ten men a minute. At most from the numbers two men died a minute but over two hours the scale would get worse, then only then would it get better. Assault weapon crews were opening the heavier weapons up as a Baneblade named "Defender." drove up into range.

As Stracken took cover like the rest of the regiment he started to issue up to date orders and tactical points of which if they took they would have the enemy by the ear. Stracken was going to control the traitors minds and make them do a head on charge. None of this made a difference to the attackers as they had the cover. Stracken pops his head over the cover and let's out lead killing more than 10 men in one of the bunkers. As he does this his sister takes to cover behind a tank. She was firing with her squad on to the enemy areas. As she starts to run to the next piece of cover she is shot in the leg and falls.

Stracken's brother under the squad of Gritz was starting to move from rock to rock as there was now so many huge rocks on the hill after the barrage. Weapons were firing everywhere and he was firing at a pile of enemy units. His head snaps to the right and to his shock he sees his sister Annebeth, hit the ground. He starts to run to where his sister was on the ground with her hand over the wound as she tried to get to the cover so a medic could help her wound. He gets up and starts runing to where his sister was on the ground and Gritz follows at his heels.

Stracken looks over the cover as more tanks rolled up the hill and opened fire at the units. The soldiers were behide cover as they fired at the enemy. To Stracken's horror his sister was on the ground and his brother with Gritz were running to where his sister was. Stracken shouts to his medic, "Come with me now. We are getting her off this hill."
"Yes, Sir." The medic replies and gets up to the piece of cover that Annebeth was going to before she fell.

Stracken listens to the comms to here that soldiers were half way up the hill but was under heavy fire and they were waiting for the Tanks to back them up. Stracken gets up at the same time as the medic and starts to run for cover but just before hand he picks his big sister off the ground and put her in his arms as he carried her to the cover. Gritz and Stracken'ks brother were looking at each other and the medic watches as Stracken runs through heavy fire just to get his sister to cover.
