Like many of those who born into the Order of Sacrificial Knights, Sophia was granted the title of Sacrier as her last name. Growing up within the Order is like growing up viewing the world through a set of filter lens. Since the purpose of the knights is to defend the innocent and to be ready to battle the Darkness where ever it appears, alot of her education revolved around combat, the Lore of the Order, and the history of their home planet. So in her youth, she was very clueless as to what occurred outside the reaches of the Order and it was so until she was formally instated as a Knight and she was permitted to travel that she was experienced the universe for what it really was. A cesspool of paganism or no faith, of sin, and it was her duty to protect it.

When Sophia was Knighted, she was choosen by the Chapter of Murr and was trained to fill the role of Pathfinder. As a Pathfinder, it was her duty to find locations suitable for the Chapter of Murr to operate in. It was an easy task for her, as often than not every world and every city she went to had rather obvious need for the Chapter's order keeping but problems arose when she was asked to submit to the law of the land she was visiting, which according to her own teachings only the law of the Gods and the Order must she keep. In light of this, she gained infamy among the worlds she visited as a vigilante or anti hero, though Sophia cared little for such things. Her success over the years led to her being chosen to become one of 7 Waywatchers of the Chapter but in the Midst of her training she was picked by the Leader of the Order to become the 2nd Sword Bearer of Ann.

As a Sword Bearer, there are some changes she must get used to. One is that she will no longer be acknowledged by her birth name of Sophia. All the members of the Order refer to her as "Sword of the Goddess", "Sword Bearer, or "Sword of Ann". She is also not used to the sudden change in power that she has. The 2nd Sword Bearer of Ann is essentially an apprentice to the 1st Sword Bearer of Ann, the leader of the Order. She reports directly to the 1st Sword Bearer and is taught a more in depth version of their lore as well as the magic that some of the more senior knights use.
