A pale-purplish fleshed creature raised three knobbledy fingers in a brief wave, but remained silent.

Zee wandered idly down the streets with his head tilted down in thought. He was worried, definitely worried, for a number of reasons. Acting on impulse had lead to others being hurt in the past. It lead to stupid mistakes and dangerous trouble. But he had been praised, this time. Orion Industries had welcomed him with open arms and a special job that he didn't fully understand.

All for that tablet.

Suddenly his head raised and he stared straight down the street from behind his visor. Was that...

"Analisa," the voice projected into the air as his pace quickened in her direction. It was impossible to tell what was going on in the six foot aliens mind as he charged at her, proportionately large feet thumping on the ground, arms sharply pumping back and forth, weight tilted forwards slightly.

Then he skidded to a halt. "Are you alright?"

Concern was in his voice. Even fear.

He hadn't heard her, or if he had he didn't let on. "I'm so sorry for what happened the other day. I shouldn't have run. Were you okay? When I returned you were gone." He reached his knobble-fingered hands for her shoulders to grasp her gently.

Zee stood upright, narrowing his eyes. "Excuse me?" he all but demanded. He sounded very suddenly angry. For each step she took back he took a matching one forward. "This is no way to treat a friend."

"He was stealing Orion's tablet, I couldn't let him go!" He marched forward, regardless of Analisa and the taxi driver. They be damned, he was angry.

Zee seemed disoriented for a moment, his rubuttel coming awfully slowly. "I didn't touch you," he answered groggily. His head suddenly jerked sharply sidewards towards the other man, as if an accusing glare.

Klonk klonk klonk. The knock sounded unusual, like the hand of the knocker was deformed or mishappen. In terms of humans, it was. "Excuse me, this is a representative of Orion Industries sent to negotiate." The figure was an usual in their very shape, purply-fleshed and armoured. They had three knobbledy fingers on each hand and judging by their helmet they were perhaps reptilian? They were definitely bottom heavy, judging by the frail arms and much larger legs.

Something wedged its way into the crack, small and metal. A robot at the alien-individuals feet. There was two, but fortunately they were small enough that it was unlikely they had any form of gun inbuilt. "You can," he stated simply, "Orion Industries has a theory. That you're at fault for their recent troubles. If you could answer some questions we might resolve this without conflict."

It wouldn't be too hard, the thing looked fairly flimsy. "The first question is have you recently come into contact with either of the following individuals, Katie Sparks or Ezrael Flavaar? The two are highly dangerous individuals known for low-scale acts of terror. They recently have taken to targeting Orion Industries and any information that could be provided would be a great help."

The crunch of the machine could be heard beneath her heel, glass eyes likely damaged beyond repair, little arms snapped. The figure before her looked unimpressed. Well, they would if you could have seen past the damn black visor hiding most of their face. "The robots were a precaution, in case you were unwilling to come out. The second question is if you have recently encountered or observed robots thematically designed off the twelve zodiacs, such as a ram, scorpion, lion..."

Judging by the way he lacked a proper response to her own questions he was answering from memory, like he had read a script.

"My boss has faith in me as an individual to undergo a task. I have betrayed that faith by forgoing his task of 'take you by force'. If you don't like my script then I can easily fall back on his orders." There was a strain in his voice. He was struggling to keep his temper, that much was obvious. He probably taken offence to script comment. He worked hard on that!

"Then perhaps we can come to an agreement." His eyes began to glow blue quite visibly behind his visor, angled and inhuman things, more like a cats. Telekinetic energies reached out to push the door, about equal to if a person threw their weight against. If unprepared it could cause Claire to fall over but if she was braced she could probably withstand it.

"Sorry," he said insincerely, "I just get tired of being talked down to by humans." He stepped inside, movements none too hasty. The metal armour across his head, shoulders, chest and arms clearly was weighing him down.

"I don't see a gun," he answered, arms folding as the door slammed firmly shut behind him. "If Walker tells me you are a threat I imagine he has a reason. So why don't you come clean with what you've done so we can talk about this like civil people." The glowing of his eyes died down, suggesting the psychic powers too had fallen away.

Indeed, her adversaries lack of finesse was a gaping flaw in his power. He couldn't even tell something was up. "I have barged in your room with force and you maintain a legal defence as your excuse to not give up answers? I think you have seriously misjudged the situation," he said, gesturing to her with his three fingers.

"Go ahead," he said, "I doubt security will be a problem. Orion are already using me. They don't have a reason to lie to me. They made me." From the way he spoke it was indicative that he wasn't talking about his career path when he talked of being made. "But even I know better than to trust Walker. Which is why I haven't tried to capture you yet. I want answers."

He tilted his head out in thought, then took a step forward and offered his hand out. "I am Zee. I can only give you my word that this will not reach Walker."

"He didn't say that," suddenly echoed through the air telepathically. Zee's hand promptly dropped, guiltily so. He hadn't intended to think outloud. "Walker said you were an associate of our enemies. Could it be he is trying to deter you by sending in..." He gestured to himself.

"Oh." He turned his head to the side. "Then can you forget about anything I said about Sparks and Flavaar, and the Zodiacs." He turned his head back towards her. "I'll tell Walker you weren't here... But I don't know what to do if he is lying."
