Description

G'mork appeared in a land that never was but always is, but this land was not his home. Then he appeared in another, then another, to find his purpose, and then to realize there is no worthy purpose but to do evil and wreck people's lives. He traveled many worlds, shifting into his wolf form and vice versa, luring others with his schemes, only to often kill them and berate them for living a lie. Eventually he began working for The Unseen, or the Manipulators, who sought to destroy Fantastica. Evil, Gmork hungrily pursued this endeavor but failed. He then fell in love with Gaya, the Dark Princess of Spook City, who felt betrayed upon discovering his attempt to destroy the world she loved. She trapped him in unbreakable magical chains and prepared to dive into the Nothing (an unstoppable weapon that was ripping apart Fantastica and slowly killing the Child-Like Empress). Atreyu the Young Warrior, Son of All, confronted Gmork in the ruins of Spook City. In the book, he dies and in the movie is killed by Atreyu. However, I devised an alternate fate for G'mork. He made an agreement with Atreyu to share his knowledge of the Nothing/The Unseen/The Manipulators in exchange for Atreyu retrieving Gaya before her fatal plunge into the abyss. G'mork's future is unwritten...until now.

He signalled for Carmen to stay close, ignoring the sound of the city beyond the great gate as he prepared the ultimate beeline escape.
