The Shadow Stealer enjoyed the few passerby that walked by in the late evening. It was a rather interesting experienced, each face was a new story to somewhat curiously study. The talented actor grinned at the thought of impersonating their walk, their talk it left a light chuckle in his throat which did not escape, his eyes glancing up: Arcane Eye and well. Finally someone did arrive that peaked his intrigue, he had the walk someone hard working, bright, creative, inventive.

In many ways he dare himself to meet this stranger: Face to Mask. There was the trouble of that damn eye and with a grin he began to speak very hushed word, the cloak began to glow and then conjure the right illusion to fool the eye. Sometimes holding an item of legacy had its perks. Silently the Master Thief moved off the point, the cloak extending out to feather fall soundlessly and gracefully and he performed some acrobatics in his graceful fall to try to land right behind Roy Cullens.

With a bright smile across his head, surprised or not surprised he nodded his head speaking "Good evening." he greeted.

The Shadow Stealer complied with a friendly nod of his head. He was a rather nervous fellow, which he supposed was alright the Shadow Stealer did just appeared out of thin air behind him. Somewhat. A light chuckle emerged from his lips as he heard the young wizard excused himself. "Well I am not in much of a rush, mind if I join you in the walk?" He requested with a light grin as he began to work up his foot work. "If you don't mind the company." He proposed "Infact I would question your sanity if you wanted to keep walking with a man in a mask that likes to sneak up on fellows." He proposed with a light merry chuckle.

[i]"I'm an extremely drunk man that loss a bet." He jested with another light chuckle. The Shadow Stealer already knew if he walked with Roy Cullens no mugger in this entire city would think twice about mugging the wizard. He nodded to the shadows as a few figures fled for their lives as he kept that nifty fact to himself. "But in all seriousness, I wear it because I can draw attention to myself when I desire to." He boasted before he walked into the passing shadow literally vanishing the moment he stepped and then stepped out with a devilishly grin. "And draw attention away from myself when I want to." He prosed rather diligently before he paused stroking his chin as he forgot introductions.

"But I am getting ahead of myself, I have not even introduce myself." He prosed as he bowed rather respectful if not melodramatic in the presence of the Wizard "I am the Shadow Stealer, Fortune Finder and Finder of Fortunes, The Finest Thief in all the realms of Gaia and King of Jesters and Jester of Kings here in Skyfall." He promoted with his various fun titled, he had thousands of them. He moved to gently hold a hand of Roy like a gentleman as he spoke very tenderly "And I consider it both an honor and a pleasure to make your aquantice." He prosed before he planted a light kiss along it.

The Shadow Stealer smiled, he was very shy, he could respect that as he lifted his form and steadily followed. "Of course. I will remember not to do so again." He commented. Roy such a curious but intriguing name, he liked it well. "So, what brings you here to the city Roy?" It was certainly not to bump into random masked strangers and get pestered by them he assumed.

The streets of the great citadel were flooded with people, all walks of life from almost every corner of the realm and greater Gaia could be seen somewhere within the city walls. It was thus destined that one of these streets would accommodate such an entrancing performance. "Oi, if the damn boy had a pair of breasts on his chest perhaps he could have earn himself a fatter bag of coin." An exiting audience member joked to his friend rewarding a hardy laugh as they departed down the street. Many had returned to their own business when the street performer had commenced, all expect a curious individual standing near the end of the street.

He was a rather handsome man, devilish so. As a half elven man, he appeared to have the good features of both blood and wore rather colorful and stylish garments that complimented as a man whom knew clothes and how to wear them correctly. This man was Aruso Vlanderfel and those in a better circle might knew him as a very prominent playwright and poet in the city, opening a very promising theater that has caught the eye of many of the citadel's governors.

As the performer departed for the alleys, the half elf lifted his feet and followed. Light footedly he moved casually through alley and alley. The young man had a great deal of promise, all he needed to do was be discovered and that was something the Half Elf knew he could do. Reaching the last alley he found himself in front of a small tent, prompting brushing the dust off his clothes he chose to speak right after. "Good Morrow."

Aruso Vlanderfel had a kind smile as he inspected this young man before him. His nostrils trailed with the hashish, first he did not smell poison or drug which was always a good indication as the man offered an esteemed bow of his head. "Of course." He granted "I would like that very much." With that he placed a silver piece downward along the table as he took a gentle seat extending out his palm.

The young man was quite the looking, it was as though the angels themselves blessed this boy with the looks of a goddess. Aruso admired pretty things, especially pretty men and he had to confess he thought the stranger's hazel eyes were rather enchanting. He chuckled slightly at the merriment directed "I think I have some time." He offered "I had enough time to watch your performance tonight." He commented.

Aruso did not feint surprise, nor acted shock or guilty. He simply laughed. Laughed as joyous and bright as he could afford at what the young palm reader had told him. "I think someone has been listening to too many tavern stories." He teased lightly and playfully as a tender hand moved to tease the chin of the demon. His stunning blue eyes stared into the enthralling hazel ones as he nodded his head "Though I am proud to say you had half of that right." He proposed with a small grin.

The playwright had done these matter of things for over twenty years "Though if I was stealing something valuable, I would love to steal some of your time for a romantic evening under a moon lit sky." He cooed a bright smile flashing across his handsome face as he admired the real treasure before him.

Aruso admired the fine gypsy as he simply listened to his words. There was no way that this boy could have known anything from the palms, this was something far beyond common magics which he prepared against. He picked up the other request rather astutely, the half elven man remained as he was as he moved to trace a finger along his chin.

Curious, the pieces were slowly starting to fit together nicely and neatly. "Well I suppose it would have to be not paying of course." he lightly jested with a fine chuckle, though he seriously knew that was the one thing the fortune teller could not grant.

Aruso simply grinned as a hand moved to compassionately hold along the demon's chin. The poor lad, being nothing but a object of fulfillment. He moved over their's lips almost touching as he spoke the words that almost defined him as a person "What fun is there for me to simply be given those things?? I rather work to get them myself." He gave his own life meaning by that creed as he moved to kiss the lips of the Demon in a passionate and longing kiss.

Evening stirred in its usual way, the town was asleep for the evening, the workshops had stilled and the workers were now at their taverns and pubs filling their tankards and spreading their gossip. The Shadow Stealer overlooked the scene from the empty street, gazing into the Dwarven Stout in all its merriment and joy. A soft grin came to his masked face, oddly taking in the wondrous scene before him. In the briefest of moments the man moved across the street, the legendary garment shining its beautiful star night allure until he reached to the other side simply passing through the pair of doors. “Order the good stock! The next round of drinks are on me!” He spoke outward. Some people stood aghast, others stood shocked at the sight of one of the most wanted men in the realm simply walking in the bar drawing so much attention to himself. The mentioning of free drinks and the general ignorance of the bountiful patronage rose up in cheers as the Master Thief arrived to the front of the barcounter facing the Dwarvic man whom stood behind the counter. “As long as the fair and honest barkeeper allows such coin.” He offered gracing him with a bow before adding a greeting “Fair morrow to you sir.”

The Shadow Stealer stood there for a moment simply admiring being the center of attention which he had to confess was a horrible quality for a master thief. As horrible as the fact that he was boastful, loud, over confident, arrogant, “Thank you. You have the exquisite honor of hosting possibly the worst and the best thief in all of the Kingdom of Skyfall.” He boasted quite certain that was a fact rather than an opinion. “If not the one who has the most handsome mug scattered across the realm.” He jested showing the very indiscriptive portrait of his wanted poster, the completely masked man as well with the written physical description with the bounty reward. “I am quite aware how reckless and unnecessary this is coming here, but as I liked to say one is never much challenged if he does not do one or two stupid fat mistakes in one life?” The master criminal was horribly blatant and unprofessional as he was not blind to even the most minute of details: like the arrival of the very conspicuous inconspicuous guest. Another assassin hired by the guild beneath his toes? Possibly.

The Shadow Stealer eyes moved to the presence of the guild master and keeper of the Obsidian Hall. He simply smiled nodding his head respectfully to the man before him. “Trapspringer.” he fore mentioned, the most dangerous man in the room at the moment and with the Guild Master he already knew came an ambush ready to be sprung when the time was right. “Come friends! Gather around and I’ll tell you the tale of the mad, mad scholar Elios the Insane.” he forespoke as he grinned back to the Guildmaster “Its really one of my most favorite tales to speak of. Quite enjoyable to retell again and again.” Piss Poor excuse his boot! He’ll make him regret those words one day, but for now the tale.

The Shadow Stealer cleared his throat, dramatically as almost everything the man did was dramatic. “You!” He spoke out to the corner. The crowd of people stood there confused and befuddled as the masked man dressed in the outfit of light padded armor shape in the elvish fashion moved gracefully over. Over towards Jeanella. He knew there type and as it was claimed before: The Shadow Stealer was never a blind man. He knew creatures of this design, their desire to remain out of attention as he moved to casually walk over using the attention of the enthralled public as his weapon. “I shall tell it personally to you! Tis a method I learned long ago by a great thespian as making It appear to talk to one makes the audience feel that I am talking to every one of them!” he spoke his utter lie as he tried to approached her peacefully moving to sit down right next to her.

Smelled like drugs and poisons. The idea lingered in his head as he simply refused taking a moment to explain why. “Sorry dear, don’t drink during a story it slurs my words.” With that said his full attention remained on her, glad that she was being such a reliable participant to this wondrous performance. “Now! Our story begins like any other, understanding our character. Elios the Insane was once known as Elios the Wise. She was a most educated and learned scholar of history and lore that was as old as or older than her elven self.” He explained “I have heard many rumors of her, that she was secretly a man in drag, five gnomes in a women suit, actually a polymorph ogre mage who was tricked into believing he was an elvish loremaster; though my personal favorite was the one where she was really an extremely insecure power hungry dragon that was doing an awful job trying to take over a kingdom. Honestly, I like that the most because that is by far the most cliché which is why I am going to tell it like so. After all! Every story teller has the right to fabricate!” he introduced the concept rewarding many laughs and chuckles “Quite an ugly dragon as I heard, so ugly and stupid that it scared its reflection long ago.”

The watch dog had vanished for now, most likely off to the cellar where she could brood and make worthless plans with her even more worthless master. Then again, the best laid plans went awry when he was here and what was going to be a simple evening of drinks quickly transformed into a night of brutal verbal revenge for ever insulting the legendary mantle he bore. He continued to allude to the one day the thief had taken over Trapspringer’s persona personally and went a terrible spree of madness and crime from hobbit kicking to vandalizing the walls of the temple of the gods with the dung of demonkind. “Elios had spend many days inside the sewers of the city, constantly the dragon would plot many things, worthless and mindless things but many of them which amounted much to the worthless empire he thought he ruled by being the only creature in the city that thought he could build an empire on dung.” He proposed “Regardless, during the early morns after hours of his worthless plans he would transform into the elvish scholar and go about her rounds, her work and such. Believing so smugly that she was the most intelligent creature in all the land. How proud the dragon was as prideful as dragons get, and sadly twas pride that blinded the creature so poorly to the profound realization that he was an utter twat.” He proposed “Somesay she went on her infamous spree of madness for having the profound once in a life time opportunity to see how much of shit she really was.”

Perhaps David Trapspringer would choose his words more wisely next time they crossed paths as he seemed to enjoy the expression across his face that sulked back into the valuables pretending not to notice or care. His attention lifted as a dwarven maiden was passed something by his request, intriguing. His attention could not focus on what was hiding in the shadows, it could have been a cat, it could have been a sniper; for once in a long time he was truly unsure telling from the grace of it all. Perhaps he was getting rusty in his semi-retirement? Maybe. He continued the mean spirited and lewd tale insuring to give every vivid and colorful description of her day of madness. What she did to those four unfortunate goats, what happened to the small child, how the Captain of the West Gate smelled like cheese for five days after… No tale was left unturned, even making up these instances before he reached to the grand finale. “With her reputation utterly destroyed, Elios did the only thing its feeble mind could comprehend. Run like the tail between its leg creature that it was. So in the middle of the night, the dragon transformed back into its hideous form and flew to the skies away from the city. Though as stupid as it was, it never at once realized what happens when a dragon transformed back into a dragon in the middle fo the urban center.” He reference the dragon above the skies of the city that faithful night. “Some say Elios lives still, hiding in the swamps not far from reach still crying over its fallen reputation or perhaps… Under the mask of another. So be wary of those who are smug and all knowing, for they may be the annoying phooney know it all dragon hidden underneath.” With that said the crowd applauded. “Thank you. Thank you.” He could even see some guards in the background applauding, he supposed they had taken their time to secure all the exits out of here. All but one of course.
