The Silent Child looked around. He knew his orders. He knew what would be waiting for him. His options: Escape, and his sister lives, Die, and his sister lives. However, if he was captured...they might kill her. Or worse. And if he did not kill himself, then they would anyways. Additionally, he questioned the Big Sister's sanity as Stargates do not have wires.
In the meanwhile, Galvin Moriarty had been walking by the spaceport when he saw the battle scared Space Port, and the turrets no one ever bothered to make sure they were all destroyed. There were like, 5 injured civilians, so he took out his Mark V Handcannon and finished them off. That's when he noticed the trail to the warehouse. He followed it, only to come across an assassin who looked...well, dark, but it didn't help he didn't see his face. So he tried to focus his power of empathy on him. And he could sense fear. Either the cops were afraid of him, which was unlikely, or he was afraid of something or another. Maybe the cops, but from the battle he saw, it looked like the Silent Child could have taken them both out if he had actually wanted to, but instead tried not to. Which was unusual for an assassin. The only reason Galvin knew this was because he was an Ex-Soldier, and he had seen Assassins operate before. And many of them were not as well armed as this one.
He then felt a sense of giving up, as the Assassin was about to pull out something, so he used the auxiliary firing mechanism, which is an electric shock that stuns the nerves and renders someone unconscious.
The assassin felt something hit him. "No...NO!" he screamed in his mind, but he could not speak. Everything went black.
Galvin looked at the Assassin, and then the cops. He went over to the Assassin, and revealed what he was about to do. A Nova Bomb, portable and deadly. It would have wiped them all out, and half of the Spaceport. But this Nova Bomb was in a special container that not even the most advanced sensors could penetrate. "Thought you needed some help there..." he noted.
He then added "I had no choice, but I don't think that was everything. I am an empath. Before he I felt him gave up, I felt fear...for something. I don't think it is safe to bring him out of this warehouse. If you hired an assassin, would you just let him be caught if you knew he was in danger? I think it might be best to not even report him captured yet, unless you want someone to hire mercenary kill teams to make sure he dies..."
"Just to base my experience off as a soldier. He was afraid of something, and it wasn't himself, and considering what I saw, it wasn't you either. But, that means his would-be killer is likely outside waiting for us, and I doubt I would be able to sense him out of thousands of people nearby. And that is if he is not going long range or orbital strike".
"Names Galvin Moriarty, by the way".
(This was the only way this would work out best RP wise following IC logic, hope ya don't mind)
