There is a BAMF outside as a teen walks in looking at himself with a sigh, "Still zis age..." he mutters as he brushes some blue hair out of his face, his image inducer still working. He blinks as he sees a familiar face. "Logan?" the German asks, startled as he walks on over, the smell of sulfur and brimstone clinging to him.

The hooded man looked at the snowman and nodded, showing he understood what he had said. He then looked to the woman in the white dress, and examined her from the shadows of his hood. He shrugged and turned back to the counter.

The television above the counter was showing the news, and it came to a segment where it listed off some of the most wanted criminals around.

"We have a report on the man that is still wanted by the UNSC for defecting to the insurrectionists. The original bounty on the rogue Spartan III known as James Draco has been raised significantly from one million credits to five million. The UNSC warns that he is highly trained in stealth and military combat and tactics. He is also reported to have strange, supernatural powers. All active and currently off-duty personnel are to remain on high alert around the area of Wing City, the area where he was last seen merely a year ago."

As the news report on James Draco continued, the shadows began to distort themselves as a figure walked out of them. Pale skin, brown hair, inhumanly dark green reptilian eyes, a dark purple shirt, and black pants along with a muscular build would be the description of this man.

And it just so happened to be the very description of James Draco, the man wanted for five million Terran credits. The man smirked as he looked at the patrons of Gambit's Bar.

"My, my...It's been a long time since I've graced this place with my presence...." he said with an almost sarcastic tone to his voice.

The Wyvern, or the man in the armor and hood, turned to stare at the new presence, an amused smirk on his face. 'This guy is begging to be caught.' he thought.

Tenna listened as the television blared on about various criminals, even turning to watch an older picture of himself, on somewhat similar to how he now looked, flash across the screen with his bounty beneath it. When the broadcast finished prattling on, though it may have only been on for a few minutes, he smirked and turned around.

"Guess I'm not as a big a hit as I thought I was. Might need to change that at some point." He finished his drink, setting the empty glass and a few credits down on the bar before preparing to shift to one of the more secluded areas of the bar. Although he loved his life to be risky, he wouldn't play the fool.

As he walked across, however, the shadows to his left shifted, spun, and parted to admit a new figure. Although the man was well built in terms of muscles, Tenna could only scoff at him. He looked much like a child, with his smooth, clean-shaven face. He hardly had any kind of scarring from adolescence, and as such, Tenna could hardly take him seriously. And yet, he still matched a description of one of only a few criminals in the area with a bounty close to his own. With a slight smirk, showing that the mercenary knew who this was, and that he didn't fear him at all, Tenna seated himself near to the door, making sure his back was to the wall.

"So then, Draco. How do you enjoy having finally reached a point where your bounty is equal to my own?" He let his gaze flit from one patron to the next, watching for any signs of recognition or action. Considering that the barkeep and security of the building hadn't thrown him out, he doubted they would unless things came to blows, but he'd had friendly peple like that switch their minds in a heartbeat for a little extra cash.

Well...perhaps more than a little, in his case.

"Five mil ain't too shabby, but you really ought'a expand. I mean, I've got a 45k cubit count on my head from the Aschen as well, so at least you've got something to work towards, right?" While some may have seen Tenna's words marking him as simply a jerk of a person, the mercenary was trying to figure out how level-headed Draco was. Crazy meant it could be an easy capture. Logical would make it nigh impossible, but if there was just enough emotion there, he might could swing himself enough money to live comfortably for a while.

He chuckled and kicked his heavily-booted feet up onto the table, letting them rest with a satisfying and slightly metallic 'clunk', then leaned into his chair as he relaxed.

James looked at the man who addressed him. "The bounty should not be there at all. The reason it is there is a lie. I never defected, I only refused to kill off an entire village of innocent people to find one spy." he said, his arms crossing. "And then again...." his face seemed to distort itself, as if made out of some sort of sludge. The new face was older, more war-torn, and experienced. "A lot has changed from when I killed off the best platoon the ODST's had to offer." he smirked.

He then stared right at Tenna, crossing his arms as he walked further into the bar. "And wouldn't you know it, there's a UNSC Cadet right over there!" he said, nodding towards the female in the white dress. He took a deep breath through his nose. "Nothing like the smell of green." he muttered, looking over at the female Cadet.

"And of course, it's not my body they want, it's what's in it, and in my head. Spending some billions of dollars to make me a Spartan is quite the investment. Too bad they didn't install an obedience chip." he said. "If I've evaded capture for this long, I must be doing something right." he added with a chuckle as he pulled up a chair, the shadows still distorting themselves.

The Wyvern leaned back and sighed, sounding tired, or bored. He wasn't completely sure which one he was either. He adjusted the gauntlet on his left arm out of boredom. After he did that, he turned to look at the Aschen in the room, sensing an aura of authority, or, something of that sort from the female. He then turned to look again to the woman in the white dress, getting up and walking over to her.

"Hello," he said to her. His voice seemed smooth, young, yet full of experience, and friendly at the same time.

"Fancy trick, kid. But I've been to too many worlds where a face can change at the flick of a switch to believe the old one's really you. You got the attitude of a kid, and the fact that you saved some innocents won't make you a warhero. Tried it once, they all ended up dead anyways." He shrugged, and then put his behind his head, lifting the piece of cloth that had so far been draped around him to reveal a strange form of armor, obviously very light, but distinctly alien, even to the various common choices in defense technology. At his hip was a short pistol, seemingly normal, and the reflective gleam from the lights above shining off a telescopic sight gave sight to the rifle strapped to his back, though it was unusually short at around 26 inches, stock to tip.

"Plus, having a bounty ain't so bad. Keeps life intrestin'. And evadin' capture? Sounds like you brush up with the people trying to catch you more often than you ought. If we were anyplace seedier than Wing City, I might have the notion to teach you how, but considering the location... Well, let's say I'm not too interested in it, right now." He chuckled and reached under the cloak, but over his shoulder, then pulled a small flask of black metal into view.

Unscrewing it, a smell not unlike alcohol lifted around him. He raised it in mock toast, then took a swig and replaced the cap. A single droplet of liquid, the color of which could only be described as flame in the center of the drop, surrounded by darkness, slid down the outside before he put the flask where he'd pulled it from. He either didn't notice or didn't care, because he continued where he'd left off speaking.

"You should find yourself some new tech, by the way. You keep on using the tech they gave you and they'll find you, sure as starshine. Governments and agencies have a rather good nose for their own brand of mischief."

Molly looked at the bunch nearby. She eyed Draco, but didn't really care. Wanted or not, she was a cadet. Not much to do, not much to say, not that she cared. She had learning to do. Nothing more, nothing left.

"Coke please?" She asked the bartender.

James smirked, but then frowned. "I didn't save anyone. The innocents died, just not by my hand. But then you know about that." he said with a small shrug. "I've only evaded capture a few times, by now, I don't exist anymore...." he said. Then, faster than the Blink of an eye, the shadows surrounded his body before pulling themselves back to reveal a different figure. This one was covered in a black mesh-like substance from head to two. His head was encased in a sealed metal helmet, and behind a dark green visor, James observed everything in the bar at the same time. Strapped to his back were a blast rifle and a katana. Strapped to his hip was a pistol and two knives underneath a belt with various pockets and grenades.

"I have found some new tech. With this tech, I can take out anything the UNSC or ONI can send at me." he said. "Plus, having some supernatural powers doesn't hurt either..." he said. His voice sounded heavily modulated, monotonous, and intimidating. The mesh that covered his body clung to his skin, making his muscular build even more prominent. "I am called Storm-Shadow now." he said.

The Wyvern lowered his hood and cleared his throat while standing next to the UNSC Cadet. His face was fair, almost innocent looking, but tainted by the many scars that had accumulated over the years. "It's a nice day today, isn't it?"

Starting a conversation level: Expert. Way to go, Wyvern.

"That instance? No. How it feels? Only slightly. I didn't exactly care much for the village that was lost due to my inaction." He was about to continue when the man's form shifted. He smiled a bit, then sighed. He'd seen similar suit before, even worn one that was able to be removed, but he'd never found them to be quite so useful.

"Ereb suit, yeah? Almost worked for them. Ended up finding myself a suit of something called Brelekthoram way out at the Nukau Province. Probably a blacklisted area nowadays. I just call it Echomesh though. Pretty nice stuff, and fairly hard to come by, I've found." He intentionally mispronounced the name as well as omitted speaking of its capabilities. The latter was partly because he didn't like people knowing what he could do, and partly because he'd yet to find out everything about his armor. Every so often he'd find something new, and so he hadn't even bothered to keep a log of it's abilities.

Every log could be hacked.

"And while I don't doubt you could handle a firefight with that piece," he gestured vaguely at the blast rifle before continuing. "Something tells me that if they went to bombard from orbit, you might have a tougher time surviving, let alone fighting back. Not many men can take on a Capital-class solo." He felt his smirk grow into a grin, then further to a full on smile as he remembered the one time he'd done exactly that, though the Ship he'd taken down wasn't well known. It had certainly been some time, after all.

"But I'm not here to compare the size of my-" He paused, looking at the females in the room. "How 'bout I just ask what brings you to Gambit's?"

It was the voices of a man saying he was not there to compar sizes of.... something, Well that perked up interest of a certain Browncoat wearing gentle{rimshot}man. Kuyden listened carefully and focused his gaze, locking on a man that was speaking. Hmm, he looks good enough to join up. Kuyden thought.

Finishing his meal he turned and ambled over to Tenna. "You seem a bit to my liking, You're good with ship to ship combat I hear tell. So let me explain myself to you. I am Kuyden Chromechaser, captain of the Redemption, Lookin' to take on some crew, I got me a pilot so far and also a cook, could use some more hands, man good with guns I am currently seeking at this moment." Kuyden made his salespitch, hopefully the bait was going to get bit and then take root.

The Wyvern nodded. "Pleasure to meet you, Molly, if I may call you that." he said. "My name is ..." he paused. Should he give her his real name? Or his fake name? Ah, screw it. "My name is Mark Wolfe." he said, holding out a hand to shake with the uniformed female.

Storm-Shadow shrugged, showing indifference to the village that he hadn't done anything to as well. But then he nodded."Yea, Ereb Nano-suit. They're the only one's I could really go to, and they've helped me with some... mental stability issues." he said with a gesture to his head as he leaned back in his chair, stretching out his legs and arms out of habit.

"As for surviving an orbital round....I'm sure I'd be able to do it. With my abilities, I shouldn't have too much trouble. But then, of course, I'd have to expect the rounds to be coming, then I'd have to figure out where everything is, and yadda yadda." he said, showing his lack of enthusiasm and care for the subject. "I will admit though, your armor is quite nice." he said. His H.U.D had already scanned it to find out what type of material it was made of, provide a 3-D model of it, pointed out weak-points, hidden compartments, etc. It had also done this with Tenna's weapons. "And at least you can get out of your armor." he added.

"As for why I'm here...Well, that part is easy. Ereb Industries invested an amount of money into Gambit's a while ago, so I've been sent to...basically guard the place, make sure nothing incredibly stupid happens, though nothing'll probably happen." he said with a bored sounding yawn as he stretched his legs out again out of habit.

"Getting out of it's only half the fun." He felt his smile on the wane, and when Kyuden arrived, he looked more business than before.

"A job as a gun-toter on another man's ship? Sorry, Cap'n Chromechaser, but I got my own craft to take me where I will. Plus, Ain't the Redemption an older model of cargo ship? I hear only rumrunners and smugglers work on 'em anymore. How're you keepin' her in the skies?" As the talk turned to spacecraft, Tenna seemed to light up. Ever since he'd purchased the Solitude, he'd had to learn and learn fast how to fix and augment the capabilities of a ship. If he hadn't, he wouldn't be there at that point.

Something buzzed at the back of his left thigh, an alert device he'd installed years ago to keep him informed if he were scanned by anyone. He scratched at it, as if scratching his leg, and used the motion to flip the switch on it. The device stopped vibrating against him and sent a signal so heavily encrypted it was more secure than almost any military communications signal, but it only went so far as Tenna's weaponry. After that, it vanished.

But it did what it needed to. Tenna was more wary with the device's alert to him, and now that his weapons had been primed silently, he was ready if things turned ugly.

"My that's an awfully deep hole you're digging yourself there." Claire commented to Tenna(?) idly as she waited on her drink. "And for the record, most of the ladies you will find in this bar, if you would like to call them that, in this bar are far from polite company." She added bluntly wondering where her drink was. It was days like today that she almost regretted coming to the bar, but this and maybe one other place were really the only good spots in the area. Sighing she tapped her fingernails, an obnoxious acid green, on the bar top observing the other patrons of the bar.

One was insistent on showing on some sort of armor suit, never a good sign if you asked her. "This day can only end in an infinite number of possibilities." She muttered sarcastically watching, as she watched the man with the suit. "If you're going to show off, at least make sure to not tell the entire bar your wanted."

"Getting out is only half the fun, but twice the work." A gruff voice echoed from a somewhat isolated corner of the bar. There sat an older, rugged looking man.

He set his emerald green drink down on the wooden table of the bar itself, sliding the glass forward and flagging down yet another glass of the liquid, before he brought his attention to Tenna and the group of people surrounding him.

"One of the most wanted men in the Empire and you choose Gambit's of all places to hide." He added, while he downed yet another drink.

"Any fugitive worth his salt would put as much distance between him and the Empire as possible." The man added. He wasn't overtly Aschen in appearance, clad in a black uniform adorned with rank insignia and other pins. Of course the Aschen Empire had changed it's uniforms in recent times, moving away from blue, to black uniforms.

"It's not just fugitives from the Empire that seem to hide here, but fugitives in General." The man added. "For someone who claims to know their crimes, you look pretty dumb to me."

"She gets me where I need, all it takes is a bit of love, I saved her from the scrap heap back on Ariel. Redemption's a Firefly-Hornet, designed for speed and durablity, and also cargo space and if needed passengers as well. How big is your craft ? If it is the right size, I got the cargo space within the hold to sotre it should need arise." Kuyden said.

"Rumrunner, interesting thought, I do have a cargo pallete of rum to deliver, thank you for reminding me." He then flicked up something, a small radio "Jiàng táng jiǔhuì zài mùdì de ba, lǎo ài fú lǐ. Bùcuò." He said before turning back to Tenna. "Thank you for the reminder fella. Now then, I got me a mechanic, a pilot, and a guy goo with words. Need me some more ey."

He said nothing of Redemptions age, if the guy tried to insult by poking at her age, Kuyden ignored it, all it took, as he had stated, was a bit of love and care, and she'll get you to where you need to be. Simple as that. "Now, dependin' on how large your own craft is, we can either tow it along, or even dock it on the hull as we travel. Ten percent of what we get paid is what everyone on the crew gets. Plain and simple is how I like it"

Tenna's eyes went a bit vacant as the gruff voice of the Commander bit into the conversation. Of all the people he might have expected, this one was special, and not exactly in a pleasant way.

"Commander Magus, of the Reverence-class, Chariot of Fire. I've heard much about you, but sadly I've only ever had the honor of speaking with Admiral Nagala. What's life like aboard the flying whales nowadays for you O-country folks?" He chuckled softly, then let himself relax a bit more as the Commander's words about steering clear of the Empire for safety's sake. The notion would have kept him safe, to some degree, and he'd certainly been out and about of late, but if anywhere was his home, it would be here in Wing City. If nothing else, there were plenty of spit-off planets to jump to as needed in an escape.

"Better to hide among my enemies then be stranded in the wastes out between the stars. Plus, if you're aiming to apprehend me for the money, I think we may wish to reconvene at a later date. I'm not exactly keen on being cuffed today, though I should thank you for the offer."

Looking at Claire, he could only smile a bit more and wink. "Lass, I wouldn't be too worried about no hole being dug. At this point, I'm digging 'em sideways into the walls of the one I started when I joined up with UCON years back. It's only gotten deeper." He sighed a bit, acting almost wistful at the memories one would expect, but he kept himself sharp, should anyone make a move he wasn't happy with. And though he felt in power of the situation, there was always a nagging feeling in his brain telling him to run.

Bravado could only take a man so far, after all.

"And Cap'n, I'm afraid that the Solitude might be about as big as your Redemption. At just over 30 meters, she's a hair bigger than your hold, I'd wager. Plus, you wouldn't want a pair of Marenian's packed so close to your hull. The ion spray they release can get a bit erratic around another ship's electromagnetic signature, so docking in flight would likely burn off a good portion of anything it hits." He shrugged apologetically. "If you ever need an escort, though, I could make a pretty decent decoy, though ten percent wouldn't be much to cover the task."

"Ah my good fellow, then we can focus on what you find yourself misinfomed, the hold of the Redemption is quite massive. I can carry up to 35 passengers and their gear, plus ten crew. Hell, I got six hovermules in there I need to sell off to make space for other cargo to transport on jobs for MarsCorp. Food supply is good as well. Redemption ain't that small friend." Kuyden said.

30 meters ey, that could come in handy. "Dependin' on the job, and how many crew I got, most of the money I make go into keeping Redemption runnin'" Kuyden said thoughtfully, "Assumin' I don't make a full crew, I still need gunhands as well. She's got four gunmounts on her, just need to have them install." He smiled then, "All is good thought I think. Assumin' you mean what you say. Dependin' on what takes after us, I can pay up to 30% on the intake pay of the job in question of when we need a decoy. I think you'd like the job, yes ?"

He turned back to the bar, voice going low as he spoke to Tenna "though, All things considered, I think you'd be best off joinin' m'crew for your own safety, you're best off on the move. Best possible option. Goin' for your ship might get you targeted by those huntin' for you." He said thoughtfully. He was not going to press his case if Tenna did not want the job.

Storm-Shadow looked around the bar at the different people who started talking. He sensed the hostilities starting to flare and he let out a sigh. His HUD started to scan everything again, checking for weak points. His HUD also highlighted everyone with different colors depending on the kind of threat they posed.

"Let's not do anything rash, everyone. At least, not inside this fine establishment." he said, his voice as monotonous and intimidating as ever as it rang out across the bar as if coming from the shadows themselves. "I suggest taking all hostilities outside." he said, reiterating his previous statement. His hand hovered near his blast pistol, which set to stun at the moment.

"Sideways? That's a novel concept, I'm surprised you know what the light of day looks like." Claire replied to Tenna picking up her now finally delivered drink. "Who said I was worried about the likes of you?" She continued sipping on her drink. " Besides I think he likes the work of digging in shit." Claire added to the Commander's comment.

"This is neither hostile nor, rash. Hostile is getting thrown through a window, being shot at, or at the very least a drink thrown at you." She grumbled hearing Storm-Shadow's comment. Claire was all too familiar with what was hostile, and she had little intent of getting mixed up in a brawl, but would defend herself if push came to shove.

Opening the basement door and shutting it behind him, Adam Ruin shifted the white cloak that hung around his neck from around his arm, striding to lean against the bar. Laying a massive hand on the wood, he rather relished the creak it gave as he settled weight against it, raking the crowd with a withering glare. From his sheer size and build, it was nearly impossible to mistake, given his watchful gaze, that security had just arrived.

The Fallen might have stood without a weapon in front of this crowd, but one wasn't needed when a punch from him could send a car through a wall. For now, however, the man merely watched the crowd, scowling deeply at the man who's hand hovered all to readily near his gun,, shaking his head slowly in a firm negative should he glance over.

"I'm not keen on apprehending nobody, at least. Not here." He said, downing another drink. "Divine Shadow's made it clear that Gambit's is off limits for anyone not on R and R, or there to simply enjoy a drink." He said, chuckling.

"The same can't be said for the LDA kill-team parked outside the bar ready to put a charged particle beam through your skull." He said, swishing the emerald green liquid in his glass, offering a nod to the Gambit's Security.

"But I'd wager so long as you're here. You're safe. Once you're out there though, in Wing City, all bets are off. Fortunately for you, cashing in bounties isn't part of my job description." Magus added.

He then turned to Storm Shadow. "This isn't your fight, I'd stay out of it if I were you... for your own personal safety."

Despite being quiet throughout the time spent at the bar, Gabrielle saw and heard almost everything. She shifted her position in order to snatch a glass off the counter, filling it with Mountain Dew. Leaning back once the glass was full, she continued to watch and listen to the scene unfolding. She was fairly certain that things were about to get nasty, but it seemed that happened occasionally or perhaps quite often in Gambit’s. But, that was what hired security was for. Almost as if he could hear her thoughts, one of the Judicarius staff made his way upstairs and after glancing briefly to see who it was, she noted that it was Adam and relaxed almost immediately. She figured he could handle anything and as long as she wasn’t shot at or attacked personally, she was going to keep on sitting exactly where she was at that moment.

Her gaze briefly moved over towards the Aschen, her lip raising in a slight snarl at the mention of the Divine Shadow, though she didn’t utter a sound. At least he was keeping up his part of the bargain, which meant she would do that same. Taking a sip of her Dew, she went back to watching everyone, her fingers idly tapping the counter every once in a while. It seemed calm… almost eerily calm. Her nose scrunched up and she vaguely thought about moving a hand down to where her cards were kept, but decided that wasn’t a wise move, especially after what had happened previously.

“How ‘bout we just drink some more and forget about fighting? One round of drinks on the house.”

Tenna nodded his thanks to Chromchaser, but the words he spoke were probably something unwanted. "As much as I'd like to join ya, it'd tie me down too much for my own liking. Though, assuming everyone makes it outta here safely tonight, I might be in contact sometime in the near future, shiny?"

He didn't wait long for a response, his attention returning more importantly to Claire and the Commander. They hadn't been expressly polite so far, but they hadn't been themselves as going against his choices, either. They'd just been, well, there. And not something he enjoyed.

"Now hold a moment, I thought I'd left the shit-digging back when I ditched out of UCON SpecOps. You tellin' me that the goldmine I've found my life to be is shit? Seems like a pretty good place to be, what with how well off I've gotten to become." He chuckled, then took another swig from the flask he pulled off the back of his left shoulder. As another individual droplet of fire-centered, midnight blue limned liquid rolled from the spout of the flask down its side, he capped it and stored it once more.

"That's a blessing, Commander Magus, but I'm wondering when you all got fed up enough with me to just take me dead. I thought the notion was to capture me, and interrogate all the codes for access to UCON defense systems out of my head before retraining me to be an exemplary spy or pilot for your own cause. Or was that just a rumor?" With a flick of his gaze, he took in the impressive sight that marked the security force of the bar. Although he always liked a challenge, this one would have been too much for, he suspected, the entirety of those in the bar to go against, even if they worked together.

"Even if it is, I wouldn't count me dead so quickly. I'm a fair shot and decent enough pilot, but you corner me and I'll find a way to get out, Promise. Now, I take it you're here simply to take some leave? Maybe visit some family or friends. Or are you lookin' to chat up some of the more dicey females here in the city? Last I heard, Aschen boys had a things for the girl's who've been used so many times they can't even feel anything, so the fake it all."

Kuyden listened to the banter between sailors, he found it odd. He looked out side, saw no killsquads or anything, and then rememvered, he came in by way of the Spaceport. So all he saw was the front end of his ship staring him in the face through the window. Ah yes. That's my girl He thought.

At the mention of a round ofdrinks on the house, Kuyden held up a hand "I'll drink to that!" He said simply and loudly, also quite clearly too. Yes, he could definetly drink to that!

To Tenna Kuyden smiled and raised his drink in a toast, "Shiny indeed!" Was all he said.

Storm-Shadow looked at the security that came from the basement, then looked at everyone else, particularly Bryn Magus since he addressed him in particular. "I have to leave anyway. Not because of my own personal safety, though. He said, slowly standing up. He didn't like the tenseness of the situation one bit, and though he would have liked to stay in order to make sure it ended okay, he simply couldn't. He was being called in by his employer for an important mission.

With that, the Ereb Alpha Trooper turned around and entered the shadows, disappearing within them as they rippled.

The Wyvern also got up and left, leaving Mikkelson alone at the bar. He left money to pay for the coke he had ordered when he first entered, but aside from that, he left.
