Timotei Cozma is what you might call an 'old soul'. And quite old at that, like, Dark Ages old, around 600+ to be precise. Quite an impressive feat when you consider that she's not the most..."structured" creature around.
You see, Timo (as she's called) is a dhampir. And not one of those Blade, daywalker, vampire hunter Buffy types, but the honest to god basic folklore come to life. With no bones and a gelatinous body to call (her)his own. Of course, back then he did at one point have a humanoid form, rather handsome, albeit with large yellow eyes and unruly black hair. But alas, that form lysed a long time ago.

But it's okay, because instead of resigning himself to the dhampir's early death, Timo found a loophole...he could keep himself alive and functional well beyond his years...if he had a bit of a skeleton to curl himself around. So she's a body snatcher, much preferring to huddle up in the bodies of her kills, vampire kind, naturally.

Underneath all that meat, Timo looks like this.
Image

So stylish.

Personality

Timotei has one main concern in life, and that is keeping in a fresh body. When she is not worried about that, she's pretty laid back and actually curious about the world around her and the people that might show up in her prolonged life. She is bred with an absolute hunger for vampires and vamp-sympathizers though, but hey, you can't knock instinct.

Equipment

Being that Timo typically resides in the hijacked bodies of vampires, she has the basic vampire capabilities, no reflection, invisibility, the ability to transform into wind and blow where she so wishes.

So begins...

Timo grinned savagely. "Lower your shield and I could fix that very quickly."

Timo grabbed the Tribble with the exposed hand, the mass of jelly curling and enveloping the small furry creature, pulling it effectively into Timo as it disappeared beneath sleeve and presumably to the core of the creature. While he did eat and lurk in the bodies of vampires, that was less everyday eating and more 'moving day!'. He was still carnivorous, and Tribbles were perfectly bite sized. He hiccuped.
"...I think I've lost count around...600? More than 600 of course."

Timo growled back at Petru, "I don't negotiate with those who see need to take humans hostage."
There was a flaw with Petru's plan...as in order to expand and choke Katja out, he had to lose his intangibility, even if it was as a gust of air. And just as he could have Katja breathe him in, Timo could do just the same. With a quick nod and a hurried 'I'm sorry, miss', the dhampir grabbed Katja by the shoulders and clamped his mouth over hers. He sucked in, pulling at Petru with a strange gurgling sound, aiming to dislodge, if not engulf completely. The thing about air was, it was very easy to move around with the right changes in pressure. From an outside perspective, it probably looked like the slightly tipsy Katja was playing tonsil hockey with a gruff-looking stranger.
Oooh, if Finch saw...

Timo hissed, releasing Katja's mouth and pulling back, a long, semi-transparent tongue hanging out of the man's mouth, twitching as if alive. The dhampir was irritated and had drawn himself, at least partially, out of his shell, like a hermit crab ready for battle. Though words still came, it wasn't through the jaws of the host body, but from the 'tongue' itself.
"Get out of her or I'll come in after you."
He wouldn't hurt Katja should he slither through her, but as Timo grabbed her arm again, Petru could feel that familiar burning sensation that still plagued his arm from Finch's bite. The threat of pursuit was indeed, a true threat.

The dhampir retreated back into his shell and cracked his neck, letting Katja go again and stepping back. He hadn't heard a single word of what Petru whispered to the woman, but he did offer her a hand when she did stumble and fall down on the ground. "Pardon my frightening method, but trust me, I am here to help you, miss Katja....and your Maxwell." he added.
He remained holding his hand out, even if she did take a swipe at it with the knife.

Timo eyed the blood with a sort of frustration. Geezus, this woman just couldn't keep herself out of trouble, could she? He pulled a kerchief out of his back pocket and tossed it at her. "Stop that bleeding firstly, and then we can talk."
Assuming she did out of her best interest, he pulled himself back to the bar and sat down, gesturing for Katja to take her previous seat, even pouring a shot of Rodnik for her jangled nerves. "Now that we're not being eavesdropped on by our lovely doctor in question...I believe I can actually answer your question. The shortest explanation I can give you is that I'm simply a monster that hunts other monsters. The reason I think...Nethaniel?...is the same is because he smells similar to others like myself."

Timo put his sunglasses back on, obscuring his gelatin eyes while giving Katja a peculiar look. "Who said that being a monster was a bad thing? You can still help people, no?"
He'd long since resigned himself into believing he was less than human. Look at him, he was nothing more than organic jelly that body snatched to keep himself functional long past his expiration date. He was the scum of the earth and Hell combined, and even other monstrous beings tread lightly around or scoffed at him. But though he'd given up on ever successfully integrating into human society, thinking like them, loving like them, he still held a strange affection for the creatures. Though regrettably, like Finch, he also had to kill them. Had to. Monster's got to eat...

Though he was thinking nothing of the sort when glancing at Katja. Especially now that she held a link to Petru, very useful indeed. And this Nethaniel...Maxwell fellow....he'd only met one other dhampir in his life, and it was archaic like himself. Nethaniel...he was young. He must've been the newer type. He was intrigued. And he could tell that this 'youngin' was quite invested in Katja. And young love...well he wasn't going to let that get ruined.

Timo nodded to Katja, bowing his head and grinning at her in a puzzling way. "Very well...I will do so, Miss Katja. You enjoy your time with Maxwell...I'm sure he'd appreciate it. I will see you, I will follow you back to Petru, and then we'll meet again."

Timo had quickly earned himself the title of 'bum' for the amount of time he spent in Gambits. He couldn't help it, it was where the food was. Usually he'd be lurking out in the slums or the furthest reaches of Wing City, scavenging the undead as he could, but they all seemed to flock to this place. And the fact there was lodging right upstairs...well...how could he say no?
The young man stepped down the stairs, dressed in a grey-striped hoodie that covered his hands as well, some slacks, and a matching beanie over his unkempt, tangled hair. It wasn't just cold he was covering up for. Patches of his skin had been worn out, and his red jello self could be seen through it. His sunglasses perched on the end of his nose.
He would need a new body within the next two weeks, Petru-willing or not.
He sat down at the bar and croaked out to the one on duty. "Whiskey sour sounds good." He rifled through his pockets and slapped down the appropriate amount before adjusting his sunglasses and leaning back on the stool, popping his back loudly.

The man almost spilled his whiskey sour when Katja plopped into the seat next to him. He would have smiled his stolen fangs at her and offered to buy her a drink, but he could tell she was distressed, from the dark circles under her eyes to the knots in her hair.
"Who now? Wh...oh, Maxwell?"
He set his drink down and looked her over. "What's he been doing that has you worried? Did he kill somebody else?....it happens..."
It happens. Like the death of an innocent human being was just commonplace for Timo. Well, it made since for the dhampir. He was a monster. She saw him in his true state, at least partially.

He rubbed his chin with a covered hand. "I don't know, if he's young, he's likely not the same breed of dhampir as myself. Very few things get us sick though....CAN'T eat, you say? What's he eating? I've never had that problem...and I'm a great deal older than both of you, I'm sure."
He sipped his whiskey sour, sputtering a little bit before grunting and removing his glove and dipping exposed fingers into the drink. More of that red gel that made up his 'tongue', but with very obvious bone hanging in the center. Though that too was disintegrating. A lot of his skin was getting eaten through, even patches on his neck showed above the collar of his hoodie.

"Well THERE's your problem." Timo nodded resolutely, a silly grin on his face. Direct absorption of the alcohol through his membrane-like skin seemed to result in a quicker intoxication than merely imbibing the old-fashioned way. He very much liked this. "He's eating JUNK! It's a marvel he's not dead yet- Been ignoring the ol' predatory instinct for the sake of going undetected..." he mused, mostly to himself, his voice dropping low.
He turned his empty eyes onto Katja, removing his sunglasses and waving his other hand that was gloved. "Oh, a dhampir? It's what you get when a vampire and human mate. It's a very rare sort of occasion when it actually takes, and the result..well...it ain't pretty." He gestured to himself an an example. He stared at Katja's blank-face.
"...You...do know what a vampire is, right?"

"I'm saying your Maxwell..Finch...whatever...is not as human as you or he might think. I'm pretty confident he's one of the newer breeds of dhampir."
He wiggled his fingers in the glass, enjoying the effects of the alcohol on his system, stifling an unseemly giggle or two. "Wh-which means, he needs to get off his 'vegan' thing and get some flesh in his system, or there WILL be problems. And no pussy-footing around with cow or dog or whatever it is you people eat around here. It's the [i]real deal[/b] or bust. He's probably ruined himself for stomaching much else being a stubborn twat."
Timo flicked some of the whiskey sour dripping from his finger onto his tongue. "Unless, of course, he catches himself a vampire, like a proper dhampir. Their flesh and blood will keep you well for a long time..."
He watched Katja knock back the Rodnik curiously. "I can't say much til I actually meet the fellow though, and I hadn't planned on helping with that until I can get where I can pounce on our doctor dearest..."

"I knew you wouldn't like it..." Timo replied quietly, picking up his glass and chugging the rest of the drink. "I wouldn't go as far to call him a monster, even still. Judging from the way you've been looking at my hand, I'm going to assume Nethaniel is NOT the exact same as myself. He's probably got a pretty human looking face and body, hmm? Lucky bastard."
Timo put his glove back on, a puzzling look on his face, as if he was hurt by Katja's roundabout accusation.
"He's got a better starting-off point than I ever did, so not a monster. Just...a man. With incredibly unfortunate circumstances." Surely not ALL monsters were bad either, Katja? Timo is trying to help you, afterall. "And he could be practically indistinguishable from one with that one little...flaw...kept under control. But if he wants to go on believing that he's perfectly normal and ignoring what is off about him, he's welcome to. But he's digging an abyssmally early grave."
He set the empty glass down on the bar with a 'clunk' of finality.

"Just let him get over it. If he's agonizing over it, the best you can do is assure him that it'll be okay, morality be damned." Timo picked at a fang idly. He could sense her distress, but he could do nothing for her. He wasn't this Finch fellow. "If he HAS killed, like you say, then his instinct is intact, and it will lead him in the right direction. He might think he's going crazy, but he just has to stop thinking that he's the same as the man next to him on the bus. That might take him a while. But you seem like a lovely lady, Miss Katja, I'm sure you just being there helps."
He glanced her up and down. "I've got a jacket and a comb I'm not using, if you want to...clean up a bit before you head back," he added, with a smirk.

"I'm sorry." Timo apologized. He didn't know what else to do. He tried to think back when he was young, some 600 something years ago. Had he made a big deal on his first kill of the living variety? ...Likely not. It was easy getting away with murder in the Dark Ages...you just pegged somebody as a witch or vampire and they were typically forsaken. Nobody cared if that person never showed up again. "....I wish I could help you further."

Timo stepped down the stairs, his hair combed out for once and he was dressed nicely in a sweater and tie. But to what purpose? He wasn't aiming to score some tail, was he? He wore gloves and long sleeves to hide his true form eating through the skin. He could prolong his decay...but his methods were brutal at worst and uncomfortable at best.

A woman, looking to be in her early 20s, stepped into the bar, her long brunette hair gathered into a braid down her back. She took a cursory glance around the place before sitting down. Her dress wasn't too fancy, jeans and a large sweater belted at the waist. Kitten heels.
She settled down at a booth and ordered a martini before clicking open a compact and powdering her nose.
This body required more maintenance than Timo originally thought. Fuuu-

Timo looked up at Ethalian with a smile on her mauve lips. She responded in kind, clutching the stem of her martini glass with one hand, while giving it a casual stir with the toothpicked olive in the other. "Doing fine, sir. You seem a gentleman, what brings you to such a rough and tumble place like Gambits?"
Right Timo thought to himself Female host body attracts more attention... A tiny bit annoying, but useful!

"Why else? The company. Such a colorful cast of characters comes in and out of this bar night after night, it's really just entertaining to sit back and watch the various minidramas play out, you know? It's better than sitting at home watching cliched sitcoms." She noted
Like the elf, Timo didn't state his(her?) real reasons for coming to the bar either. That was to hunt, to scope out the next vampiric dindin, and a new host body. Humans were great to hole up in, but they were junk food in compare.
