A powerful wizards apprentice, also an artist
Tirus has a constant look of depression but he is a very cheerful person inside, he has a passion for art and all that has to do with it, even as his master tried to teach him how to use fire he used it to embed the image of a Dragon in the dirt. He is highly intelligent and uses his superior intelligence to outmatch foes in battle. He understands magic but it's complexity causes him to become stressed creating negative effects. He had a bad past but it has only caused his image to show depression. He eats very as a fear of losing the chance to eat again thus making him skinny.

As a boy Tirus was poor, his family spared very little to him and only saved him scraps to eat. his clothes were torn but his family could care less what he looked like. The children in the village thought of him very lowly, he was just another failure who couldn't make a living. Yet for some reason he loved his family, it could have been because they were family but he put up with them. He ignored their faults and looked for the good in them. Tirus got in many fights through the years because of disagreements with others about his family. Unable to stand up against people he learned to adapt in the environnment, he could win a fight just through the intelligence and elegance of his speech. Slowly people accepted him, he had become a friend among many.
A few years passed and the day came when the people of the village found out Tirus's family was filled up by Witches and Warlocks, through so many generations they had been a cursed tribe, bringing plague to all in their way. They returned to their old habits of beating on Tirus while planning a way to eliminate his family. They realized that if they could just find a Wizard to slay the beasts the problem would be solved. Following that brilliant (Sarcasm) idea they hung a sign force painted by Tirus on a gate outside the village. Soon after along came their hero, an old drink with enough magic to destroy a village with a flick. The village thought of him as a god but he was only a human and woe was he the witches destroyed him and the village, turning all but Tirus to dust, realizing Tirus kept their secret (atleast that's what they thought, he never even knew) they let him live. That night he left the town forever, in body and mind, never to think of it again.
