Description

Tolemia is a new being, fresh to the world, but he has already figured his purpose. As the new Tolemia Humana Feita, or Tolemia for short, it is his job to influence the mortal and immortal races alike into the blissful arms of insanity. Such is his way. The world has not seen one of 'his' kind for eons, but that was due to the shielding that many realms erected to keep the Tolemia from entering. However, something burst through Terra's protection, and left a hole long enough for Tole to slip inside.

Tole is neither male nor female, though he takes a male form most of the time, for he finds it more comfortable. Tole has no real age or race, he is simply a form of madness with a physical form.

In both forms, Tole carries the symbol of 'his' kind, a Blade of Deprivation. It is from this bound artifact that he draws all of his powers.

To explain what he can do, one must first explain his role. As stated, it is to drive the races of the world to sanity. However, this particular Tolemia is gifted with the abilities of Greed, Jealousy, and Wrath. He draws from these basic principles, making the seemingly impossible happen for any who crave it enough. However, it always comes with a price, and over time, that price becomes more and more obvious. In the end, he will crush the barriers of their minds and flood them with the Will of the Tolemia, corrupting them and adding another check to the long list of 'Those to Receive the Gift'.

Tolemia emerged from the mouth of foul energies, merely as a skeleton. Soon, his flesh, muscle, and sinew began to form around him. Next was his hair, eyes, organs, tissues, all of these things that made him complete. Cracking his neck. Testing his joints. All things seemed to be in order. With a wave of his arms, his form began to take on a male figure, and afterwards, despite the fact that no one was around, he began to cloth himself. White, thin chain-mail. Large red overcoat, coal black pants, the works. The materials felt nice, something this being of pure emotion wasn't used to. With a click of his tongue, the Blade appeared in his grip, swirling with the same dark energies that were still entwining Tolemia's being together. He hunched over slowly, face almost touching the ground...before an explosion of force rippled the air around him, shooting outwards across the world. A Tolemia, one of his kind, had finally found his way back to a Material plane...And only those old enough to remember his kind would recognize what had just happened...

Tolemia didn't even bother looking at the beast that flew over his head. Nor at the life force behind him, whatever it belonged to. In the end, he could sense every sentient being, and with time, he would grow to know their wants and desires as if they were his own. 'He' would grow to corrupt this world, make way for more of his kind to enter. Without sanity, there would be no fear, and the world would rejoice in its new rule by ego and free will, true free will...Running his now solid hand through his hair, shaking his hair, rubbing it between his fingers, he realized that now, he was truly alive. It felt marvelous. Well, Tolemia were always living, but now, he was corporeal. It was marvelous. He turned to look at the dragon, a wicked smile forming on his lips, his new voice raspy from lack of use and experience, but it was almost silken. "Do you...desire a freedom from your self made prison, o beast of lore?"

Tolemia reaches out and brushed a hand so very close over the Dragon-Kin's head, not so much touching as feeling the air around it. "Mmm...How...quint and innocent. Rare, I take it, as it was in days past." He cocked his head to the side, that smile returning. "A fool not be I, though I will let you assume what you will, Emura." His old powers were returning faster than the Elder had projected. Soon, he would be able to bend reality, if he so wished, all for the sake of those his wished to 'help'. He took a step back before planting his Blade into the Earth, taking in the aromas and sights around him. He would not make his home here. It was far too out of the way. He needed somewhere close to civilization, yet hidden enough he could stay...secluded. He would draw attention from things that remembered him, over time. He could not scare the races he wished to teach the Way too by fighting before them. "Ignore and deny all you wish, Dragon. I alright have a greater understanding of you than I thought I would, in this time. How odd, that my first 'case' would be such an aged and noble race as yours..."

"I know your name because I have stood close to you and your kind long before even they can remember. Unless some of the Greatest Wyrms still exist on this plane. I doubt that." All the information was coming back to him as well. "I know you, because I can feel, deep down, you have a wish. A wish you want fulfilled. Even if you yourself don't know it." He spun, laughing as he did so. "Desire not, for I can grant. I am a being of temptation and reward, and I hope to serve this world as my Kind has done for eons past, through the age of stars and gods alike. We predate all of your kind, and so, we hope to help you all reach what my kind did so long ago. A way to escape all forms of fear!" Another spin before he kicked his Blade into his hands, almost singing his words now. "So old and yet young among your kind. Such a history you have as well! A friend of the Ocean's Breath, a Skydancer locked to a world she keeps herself from joining! How quint!"

"I think not. You don't need to know of my kind. We are not well suited or welcomed to any world. Barriers and protection and fear have riddled us enigmas and outcast. Unwanted beings, yet all we do, as a race, is help your people. All people. We all have something you fear. We have it in our minds, we see it always. It saddens us, immensely so." Still singing, still dancing. "There are two cures to fear, death and our method. Our method is like gold. Good in small doses, but the weak and scared wish for more, always and forever." He planted a foot on the edge of his Blade, leaning on it almost, smiling happily. Soon, it was in the air, and he floated on its handle, his balance keen and almost perfect. "I must depart. I hope we meet then...and I hope we meet again, when you are ready to admit your own weaknesses and wants."
