Description
Valenessa in her natural form is a tall, slender, inhumanly beautiful woman with alabaster skin, pale blonde hair, long ram-like horns, and large bat-like wings. However, she can manipulate her appearance at will, taking on the appearance of any humanoid creature, though she gains none of their abilities or powers save for whatever size advantage the form might have. This power extends to her clothing as well, making it extremely easy for Valenessa to disguise herself as she pleases.
Personality
Valenessa is a cold, highly intelligent individual. She is a master strategist, and views people of all kinds as nothing more than pawns in her ultimate machination. She is also a skilled actress, easily adopting the role of whatever disguise she happens to be using at the time. Valenessa also has a flair for the dramatic, and so will almost always choose the more "interesting" way of handling a situation so long as the ends are the same.

History
At first, Valenessa was nothing more than a simple succubus. Like all demons, she was wild, chaotic, and destructive. She was quite content to trick mortal men and cause wanton chaos. That all changed when she was abducted and brought to the Nine Layers of Hell by a trio of devils. Asmodeus, the Arch-Duke of Hell, had been conducting experiments to convert demons into devils in an effort to gain the advantage in the Blood War the two sides had been waging for eons of time. At first, the succubus resisted valiantly, but the chemicals and the torture eventually took their toll. No one save Asmodeus knows how long she suffered in the darkness, but eventually her mind had been drastically warped.
The Arch-Duke began to 'instruct' her on order over chaos, remaking her mind to be the perfect companion to the perfect devil: Asmodeus. Her transformation brought with it new powers: the ability to manipulate the actions of weak-willed mortals by sheer thought, the (rarely used) power to steal men's souls with but a kiss, heightened strength and agility, and most importantly a vastly superior intellect. She was trained in the Arch-Duke's personally created form of martial arts, a style that suited her perfectly: brutal, elegant, intelligent, and dramatic. She had been remade into the perfect successor for the Arch-Duke of Hell, a result even Asmodeus himself had not foreseen.
Now, to honor her patron and to prove that she is his rightful heir, Valenessa has undertaken a scheme that outdoes even the Arch-Duke's most outrageous plans: destroy the very fabric of reality. Though she has only just emerged onto the realm of humans once more, the gears of her intricately woven machinations have already begun to turn ...

Valenessa entered the tavern cautiously in the guise of a raven-haired human woman dressed in a black sweater, a dark blue skirt, and black leather boots. She had heard of this place, and found it intriguing.
Valenessa cast her dark eyes across the room, and feigned a warm smile at the two other patrons as her gaze settled upon them. She casually approached and pulled a chair up to their table. "Is this seat taken?" she asked politely.
Valenessa motioned for a drink from the bar. One must keep up appearances. "Very far away," she replied cryptically.
Valenessa flashed her gaze toward Evrir and gave her a wicked smile. "As do you, little one," she hissed.
Valenessa enjoyed the challenge of being questioned. She looked back at Tom, her dark eyes locking onto his. "Me?" she asked. "Why, I'm an actress. What about you, young man?"
Her eyes flickered to the door as the new being entered the room, almost allowing a frown to cross her lips. "I dislike machines," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Valenessa delicately picked up her martini and rose from her seat. "Excuse me," she said curtly to Tom as she crossed the room and sat down beside Tane, giving him her best smile.

Valenessa felt little fear of her true nature being discovered, disguised as she was as a raven-haired human woman. She feigned an inviting smile, repressing her urge to slaughter the winged man. "Nothing on it yet, dear boy," she said, taking a sip from her martini.
Valenessa cast a dull gaze at Evrir, silently wishing upon her all of the suffering Hell had to offer. Her dark eyes flickered toward the ranger, her mind already racing with possibilities for the girl. Silently, she motioned for Cassandra to join her. Valenessa turned her attention back to Tane, analyzing him with a critical stare.
"No, I don't come here often," she said to him. "In fact, this is my first time here. I've heard many exciting stories about it, so I had to see for myself."

Valenessa gently placed her hand on Tane's knee, then smiled up at him. "I don't know her yet," she answered, "but I'd like to."
Valenessa entered the bar quickly, pretending to be in a hurry. Tonight she had adopted the guise of a stern looking red-haired woman garbed in a green blouse and skirt. Her long hair was pulled back from her face, and a pair of glasses was perched upon her nose. Her (currently) bright green eyes glittered through the normal glass in the frames. She sat down at the bar, patiently awaiting a proper target.
Valenessa glanced at the newcomer through her fake glasses with idle curiosity. She recognized Evrir, though in her current red-haired guise she could not act as such. She nodded curtly at Evrir. Perhaps this creature could be of some use after all.
Valenessa wondered at the chances of seeing another familiar face. She was almost beginning to regret coming here in a new disguise. "Ah well," she muttered to herself as she rose from her seat and sat down beside Evrir. She flipped her long ponytail over her shoulder and flashed a pearly smile, her glasses glinting in the light.
"Summer Vale, news reporter for the GC Times," the devil lied.

Valenessa entered the bar once again, a winning smile on her face. As per usual, she had adopted another disguise, one she hoped would prove helpful in garnering attention to her cause. She had adopted the form of a comely human woman with fair skin, dark red hair, and bright blue eyes. She wore a sleeveless blue turtleneck, a black pleated skirt, and low-heeled shoes. She cast her gaze eagerly around the room.
Valenessa took a seat at the bar. It was an easy place to keep an eye out for interesting people, and interesting people were almost the norm at this bar.
Valenessa smiled charmingly and gave a little wave at Tane. Of course she remembered him, but she was confident her shape-shifting could not be seen through by the likes of him. She was, after all, in a much different disguise than when she had last met the winged man.
Valenessa entered the bar, a sly smile playing on her lips. Today her disguise was that of a pale skinned red-haired young woman garbed in a black sweater, a black pleated skirt, and soft black shoes. She cast her blue eyes around the room eagerly, searching for a new target.
Valenessa put her hands on her hips and growled irritably. "Daddy's guest bedroom sees more people than this," she grumbled.
Valenessa yelped in surprise when Sara spoke. She hadn't noticed the other woman, which was doubly concerning since she had been moments away from lowering her guise. She turned around and beamed Sara a brilliant smile.
"Oh my, you startled me," she said as she quickly slipped back into character. "I didn't mean it like that. Daddy doesn't have guests, and this place was seeming very empty until now."
