Character Portrait: Verloren Verloren says,
The woman clad in a dark raven colored dress that trailed nicely down her slender frame, would somehow appear inside of this rather lively establishment. A small smile would be etched across her somewhat soft lips as dark optics would be narrowed while one of her hands delicately trailed itself through her almost ankle length wisps of midnight black hair that seemed to let off an intoxicating smell to possibly any were near by. At her looks one would guess she was not from the present day realm, and they were right. She was not. But something about this mistress spelled darkness and sorcery. During semi modern day age, some would come to call this woman a witch. Truth be told she wasn't that. Not at all. She was something or someone more or less darker. A possible wielder of the dead. A necromancer perhaps? Well truth be told one may never know but as soon as her optics lifted from their gaze downwards, her eyes would seem to carry a rather amused look as she gazed at those -c-

[color=purple]Within all obviousness that she was not of this time period, but of another, she would stride throughout the night with only the pale full moon to shine down upon her white clad form like a spot light to guide her ever so swift stride. Her eyes would be overshadowed by both the darkness and her hair, thus causing a strange and widely known effect. It seemed as if she were getting pursued by something or someone, but no one was behind or beside her during her foot path through the thicket of the infamous Forest of memories. Only a few moments would pass before this strange medieval style clad woman would come upon the gravel parking lot of Gambit's Bar. Light pants escaped from her parted lips, the exhaled breaths visible in the cool late night air as no breeze stirred to take them away this unusual moment. -c-

Character Portrait: Verloren Verloren says,
Upon seeing the strange and brightly lit establishment before her very eyes, this woman would automatically strode towards the place and would swiftly jog up the stairs when the time came. As it did she would then reach an apparently flawless hand out to grasp the brass handle. Upon bending it she then pushed it inwards to open the large wooden door to open it before stepping inside upon dress clad footsteps, her feet not visible due to how long the train of her white elven looking gown was. Alas she lifted her head, thus revealing her right was a lavender hue and her left gave the color of a blue/white that made her appear as if she were blind in that very optic. But truth be told the answer to the aparent question on sight, would not be answered as this weaponless woman strode about the room in order to find a place to sit somewhere as her long silken strands of onyx hair flowed behind her like a black curtain. Given the aura about her, it was apparent that this newcomer was indeed a sorceress. -f-

A whisper of a beautiful foreign tongues would speak all at once into the sorceress' ears as she strode through out the night, the silken train of her white gown dragging iridescently and un cared for through the grass behind her heels that were hidden rather noticeably beneath of the garnet. From underneath of her swaths of onyx hair that swished back and forth upon her head, torso, and back like a black curtain of mysterious silk, her eyes would be hidden, overshadowed, from the late night world. With lips drawn together and un moving, she carried an expressionless face that remained atop of white soft looking skin. Her strides were swift but yet they were slow. It appeared as if she were in a hurry, but yet it did not. Upon a few moments passing, the mysterious woman known to be a sorceress based upon the aura she carried and such, would escalate up the stair well that lead up to the porch of the tavern known as Gambit's Bar. In a mere matter of seconds she then reached out -c-

a flawless hand to grasp the brass handle of the wooden door. Grasping it, she turned the handle to only push the door forth and let the bright lights to come pouring outside in an iridescent beam. Lifting her head a little her heterochromic eyes would be revealed at last. Glancing from side to side she would then step in upon four strides and would nonchalantly allow for the door to slam shut behind her slender and solid five foot five inch stature. Making her medevial clad way across the bar room, the sorceress would be fast upon taking a seat at a table away from the rest. Alas sitting there all by her silent lonesome, she would wait. Wait for the time to come whenever she would alas part her lips to speak in a most likely fluid voice that carried the tone of a winter's snow fall and a summer's rain. -f-

With bi colored eyes slightly narrowed as ebony lashes brushed up against her flawless cream colored skin every time she blinked, the sorceress would appear to be rather distracted once she silently entered the tavern like establishment with an emotion about her that spelled neutrality and probable apathy. From behind her long strands of silken raven hair would trail and bat gently against her backside almost perfectly, making it look more or less like a curtain of darkness instead of almost knee length hair. The train of her white thirteenth century dress covered her feet and gently dragged on the wooden floor with an evanescent swish. -c-

But after a minute or two of wandering forth into the barroom, she would come to a pause and soundlessly lift her head only to glance from side to side, most likely in search for a desolate table to seat herself at. However she would not happen to notice her old acquaintance, Palithio once she would take a seat on her rounded bottom and run a hand solemnly through a loose strand of ebony hair. -f-

No sooner than she was to hear that beautifully spoken masculine voice, Verloren's optics would slightly widen while a slightly surprised breath escaped from the back of her throat. Quickly now she glanced about before coming to view the dark elf's sturdy form. Despite how long it had been since they had seen one another that night when they shared a drink and had a deep conversation that reached many borderlines; especially one in particular, the sorceress seemed to have an excellent memory as she would give to Palithio a welcoming smile and a kind nod. "Why hello there... It's been a while. I actually thought I'd never see you again." She would then say just a moment or two after her heterochromic hues studied his beautiful face and his astounding frame, which both she appeared to rather like as she seemed incapable of removing her eyes from it while remaining seated at the table nearest the windows.

Verloren gently laughed a little as Palithio spoke, his words both soothing her inner core and humoring her to the second to highest extent. His words flattered her and at the same time made her heart swell, thus making her cheeks gently flush with color as she would glance away slightly in a rather shy way. But no sooner than he would inquire something rather peculiar that a friend would naturally ask, Verloren lifted her head, her eyes slightly widening as she would smile and nod. "Yeah, there has been a lot of things." She replied before lifting a hand to rub the back of her neck.

She took notice to these new markings upon his gait as he spoke to her in a rather flirtatious manner. Studying them carefully she would keep an ear out for what Palithio had to say before she parted her soft lips in means to answer. "After our last encounter I did some slight soul searching. I traveled a little and learned some new things that could come in handy under my belt, or so to speak. My friends and family back home... Well I visited them as well. Never in my life had I seen them so happy. And what could I expect? They're elves, and being adopted into their kind from birth has made me act almost like one, which makes me un used to the whole coming home thing after years of travel." Verloren came to say rather bashfully, acknowledging a slight fact that she hadn't told Palithio the first time that they spoke, which would also most likely draw curiosity into his demeanor soon after she finished. Afterwards she would fall silent and lick her lips before giving to him a solemn gaze and a smile.

The sorceress’s footsteps would be slow as she strode forth, proceeding to enter the renowned establishment that she had yet to visit in a very long time. It has been almost two months since she graced the place with her presence. Now she was almost eager to stride inside and take in all the new sights that accompanied it. When reaching for the handle of the door, her seemingly delicate hand hesitated midway, her fingers twitching in anticipation. She didn’t know why she paused all of a sudden, but something within her mind came to life, thus faltering her so.

Sighing out a soft breath from between her agape lips, Verloren shook her raven head, bi colored eyes blinking a couple times before she came to focus on her short term goal for the moment. She didn’t know why she was hesitant on entering a bar, but tonight she was. Maybe it was because of the fact she hadn’t been around here for a long time, that she was unused to this place. Then that would mean she’d have to start all over again. Forgetting about all that nonsense now, Verloren would do as planned by opening the door and walk inside.

After closing the door behind her slender, white clad frame, she glanced around. She wasn’t surprised on how many people were here this evening, nor was she wary of all the changes either. Quickly now she made haste to stride through the crowds of people, edging smoothly out of their way while making her own towards the secluded booths. Tonight she intended to seat herself there if she could. That is if none of weren’t taken already. Luckily for her none of them were taken or so she thought as they came into view of her gaze. She intended to sit there for only two reasons, one being that she had yet to see a familiar face here, and two being that the booths were less crowded and she’d have her respected privacy.

Bi colored eyes cautiously shifted, glancing about the establishment whilst she sat beside the drow. “Things have been well. I’ve been traveling.” She replied to him, a gentle smile curving her lips. “I’m glad to have seen you out all people.” She then admitted before following his amethyst gaze towards the rather handsome man seated across the room nearest to the fire. “So how have you faired since we last met?” Verloren then inquired, her tone falling low, gentle as she kept an eye out for the barkeep.

Verloren nodded to him, agreeing to his words. "Yes.' She replied, her word blunt while at the same time sincere. The drow's words made that feeling within her breast occur once again, her heart almost skipping a beat. Not being able to find anything else to say she allowed for her bi colored hues to trail over Palithio's dark skinned body.
At first she noticed the usual details of it before noticing the new scars. Verloren's eyes widened, her lips falling slightly agape. "Palithio,' she whispered, extending a hand out to gently run her index finger over one of the new scars, studying it.”What happened?" She asked, glancing up at him as concern edged the tone of her soft voice. It wasn't that she didn't hear his compliment and felt shy about it, but as of now her attention was attracted elsewhere as her mind would begin to wonder.
She must have cared a lot for this being in order to be worried about him.

She knew what this man, this being did for a living and respected it very well. After all, her profession wasn’t the best either. But every time she seen the older man with new marks upon his body and that look in his beautiful eyes that pained her to meet, Verloren automatically sensed the need to care for him, to make him feel better, and to possibly distract him the best she could from such haunting things. “I understand.’ She mused, her voice low as Palithio explained the new marks to her before reaching a hand out to touch her face. When he had done this she sat up, the lids to her bi colored eyes grew slightly heavy as she bashfully glanced away, and trying not to smile as warmth flooded her cheeks.

“Strength is always the best wisdom.” She murmured her voice almost a whisper as she spoke such confusing words. But soon enough she fell silent when she felt the dark elf’s thumb drag over her lower lip. Oh how soft his touch was upon her skin. It was so gentle that she shivered, gazing deeply into his beautiful eyes, her heart thudding within her breast. When he leaned forth and pulled her closer, Verloren would follow his lead. ”Palithio…” She whispered softly as their eyes would now meet, their faces closer that she could just taste his breath. But as he kissed her, the woman’s eyes fell shut, her left hand falling to grasp one of his knees while her right hand drug over his face in a gentle caress.

Within her mouth their tongues eloped in a gentle dance, their lips meeting and reuniting after such a long time. His taste was sweet, she enjoyed it, and instinctively pressing for more despite the place they were in. But once he pulled away she understood and leaned back in her seat, releasing her hands from his gait. She smiled when he made a remark about the flavor of her mouth. He was always complimenting her. “And I’ve forgotten about yours’ as well.” She admitted before leaning forth in order to plant that of a small kiss upon his cheek.

The sorceress's eyes burned with curiosity as she approached the bar through the dark visage the late eve provided. Clad in white, she appeared almost phantom-like as she strode forth, her ebony hair whipping about in the winds which made the trees whisper whilst they swayed. The light emitted from the bar as well as the noise seemed not the phase the woman as her lips parted, her stride slow so that audible sounds of the boots she wore hidden beneath of the train of her gown, crunch on the gravel. It didn't take long for the hauntingly fair woman to continue silently up the staircase that lead to the entryway of Gambit's. Upon reaching the door too soon to be considered a moment, she outstretched a delicate right hand towards the handle.

A golden ring in the form of a spider with a ruby for the abdomen sat dormant on the ring finger of the sorceress's left hand, possibly indicating something that was too obvious to even say. She was engaged. But to whom, one might ask, the answer they'll find in due time for it seemed that this woman would never tell. Greeted by the sound of loud music sounding throughout the bar, her bi-colored optics widened. What was this noise? It sounded almost beautiful! In a swift fashion, she entered, quietly closing behind her as the headache inducing sounds filled her ears. Dark brows furrowed, a frown stretching across her lips.

Slowly, she began to make her way towards a booth across the room in hopes of escaping the music or at least have it toned down due to the distance. Sure, she might have liked it, but such noise at a high volume irritated her. Once reaching a desolate booth, the sorceress sat, lowering her head as she rested her palms now. Just what else could she do now?
