Vicious Trinity

A warrior woman with a lust for destruction and killing.

0 · 846 views · located in The Infinite Void

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by SilentMusician

Description

There have been many things said about Trinity’s appearance: beautiful, enchanting, deadly, cold, dreadful, strong, and amusing. Just one glance at the assassin and people cannot figure out what exactly to call a woman with such a mixture of physical qualities. Her skin is as white as the clean surface of a porcelain doll’s, but this is clearly an indication of abnormal attributes with flesh that pale. Her red hair is flawlessly fine, but those angular-shaped ears that point out from beneath its strands throw a devious touch onto the visual, red earrings often hanging from the lobes. And her eyes – the greatest mark of her appearance - although they are beautiful with their vibrant red color and strong-suggestive eyes with just that right sense of slyness, the small shaped black pupils symbolize Trinity’s cynical nature. It’s not hard to figure out the assassin’s favorite color once you get to know her: her attires are always made up of red hues, with the occasional black thrown into the mix to make the color theme synergize better. She mainly walks around, almost always, in clothing that has some combat utility, such as her trademark red tight-fitting suit that come accompanied with long gloves that go halfway up the biceps. If she’s wearing casual clothing, it’s a sure bet that she is wearing something combat-ready underneath. Her body shape is built to an athletic peak that is fit for someone as agile as an Olympic track runner or a swimmer. She is in no way in the body build of some of the more stronger woman figures out in the combat world, but she has a nice balance of womanly curves and toned muscle to imply female perfection in physical fitness, orientated more toward speed than strength.

Personality

Trinity’s spectrum of emotions is very narrow. In fact, there are only three emotions you will mostly see from her: uninterested, excited, and anger. She can switch through any of these at will, mainly due to her mastery of acting, capable of emulating almost any emotion with false expressions. It’s because of this skill of hers that no one can ever possibly know how she is feeling. Her personality is summed up in one word: sadism. She enjoys being selfish. She enjoys invoking cruelty on others. She enjoys bathing in the atmosphere of someone else’s pain, whether she or something else caused it. Trinity is the living embodient of the phrase: “I don’t give a damn.”

Ironically, Trinity never says a swear word from the common language. In fact, her speeches are very proper, like a foreign person who is just learning how to speak a new language. You will not see many contractions, but she has a tendency of putting pauses in dramatic speech – once more, part of her sadistic acts. This is mainly due to her social innocence. This does not imply that she is innocent in a personalty way, but rather, she’s so attached to the way she has spoken now that she is not influenced a lot by the surrounding speech patterns of others. It’s a strange phenomenom which mainly comes from her racial attributes, which will be explained in the “What is a Celestian” section below.

Hellfire Blade

A sword created from the fire and brimstone of Hell, this weapon acts as a link between the real world and that of the hellish underworld, capable of unleashing its otherworldly flames to devour all life around it. It was said to have been crafted by the formidable materials of Hellstone and Hell Steel, which are similar to their real world counterparts, but a lot more durable, including a natural resistance to the fires of Hell itself. Hell Steel has a near immunity resistance to heat, so makes a great ingredient to forge into the sharp blade of the Hellfire weapon. The weapon was built into a total length of 5', with a one foot grip, and a 4' remaining being a double-edged blade. The pommel is wrapped in the tough skin of some hellish beast that is just as resistant to the supernatural flames, allowing for a nice grip. The nut at the end is guarded by a small jagged ring, with a dark red jewel sitting in its center. Looking closely at the jewel, one can get a glimpse into the pits of hell itself. The handguard is spiked towards the blade, having spans of five inches out to each side. Another jewel sits just at the base of the blade, acting as another conduit to the underworld. The blade is tinted red, though not from the heat, but as its natural hue. The blade is six inches wide and an inch thick, with the edges tapered to a fine point to give it weight behind its sharpness. The total weight of this weapon is ten pounds.

Now, if someone believes they can just pick up this weapon and wield it, they’ll be sadly disappointed. This weapon is a forbidden magical weapon that brings destruction both to its targets and its user. The weapon is always exerting out heat that is over one thousand degrees Fahrenheit, which only increases when it becomes active, so simply touching it will give someone a bad burn, unless they have heat resistances. Let’s say that the user does. Now, they have another obstacle to overcome: the destructive aura that flows from the sword. Because the weapon is an object of hell, normal mortals will instantly feel their life being drained. Life force is a favorite treat for the underworld forces, so continually holding onto it will bring the user closer and closer to death. But what happens if the user happens to be a demon or devil themselves? Then, they can wield the weapon like normal. Unfortunately, without the signature of its designated user imprinted into their souls, the weapon will turn dull and become just as helpful as a ten-pound club.

It calls to question how Trinity was capable of wielding this weapon in the first place. This weapon belonged to the Red Leviathan that once controlled Trinity, named Lotannia. Its existence became known during the clash between Trinity and her once they were separated with the help of Trinity’s allies. Lotannia was an outcast deity who had ties with the underworld, as implied due to wielding such an abyssal weapon, so having the power to control this blade isn’t that farfetched.

The only reason she isn’t affected by the weapon is due to the deity's signature bearing in Trinity's spirit. However, even with this in place, just holding onto the weapon in her hands every minute acts against her. She normally keeps this weapon put away in her pocket dimension, but lately she has been carrying it around casually. The reason she has been doing this is to help her body adapt to the “virus” that the sword inflicts on her body, and create a natural defense against it. Fortunately, this has been working to the point that the drain is insignificant at this point. But when she uses the weapon’s more potent abilities, such as spawning the flames of Hell itself, the drain increases, feeding on her stamina.

Hellfire Blade Abilities

This weapon, by its name, has the power to conjure the flames of hell itself. What are the flames of hell, you say? As the stories go, the flames of hell are capable of giving souls eternal pain. They bypass all physical barriers and lick at the soul with a hunger for life. This is true. However, if the blade was capable of manifesting the true power of Hellfire, it would be one of the most powerful, and dangerous weapons in the world. Unfortunately, its user must have the skill, understanding, and massive amounts of energy to be able to even perform such a feat. That is why Trinity can only use Hellfire at half of its potential, which is still feasibly a threat to those immediately around her.

Hellfire, thus, is fire with a supernatural element added to it, mainly divine. It burns with vibrant red hues with just a little orange coloring. Unlike normal fire, this fire does not need oxygen to survive. Merely the energy of both its user and the life in the environment. Hellfire spreads slower than normal fire because it attempts to feed off all the life energy within its immediate area before spreading toward other sources. But with the help of the user, the fire can be directed or spread as she sees fit. Hellfire burns a lot hotter than normal fire. Because it is a supernatural flame, it does not only burn the body, but it burns at the soul of a living creature, as well. A victim that experiences the pain of Hellfire will feel a greater pain due to the combined seering of their flesh and their soul. Hellfire isn’t as damaging to the soul as it is to the body, but it serves as a nice way of decreasing a person’s energy and focus, especially against armored foes due to bypassing physical barriers. Water will have a harder time putting out Hellfire, unless it’s a very large amount. Fortunately, magical water works against Hellfire as if it was normal fire, which may change depending on how powerful the fire and the water are from their users. Hellfire is also subject to defending against as long as the target has the means to fight it, such as magical defenses and offenses.

Hellfire left to spread easily spawns normal fire due to causing flammable objects to combust. However, Hellfire, once thrown onto the environment, only lasts for four posts before dispersing unless Trinity is continually fueling her energy to it. Because this is a taxing process, Trinity counts on the wild nature of her attacks to ignite the area enough to try for a damage-over-time tactic rather than trying to continuously inflict direct bursts of fire against her foes, especially if it’s a large number of them.
Because the blade recognizes Trinity as its owner, Trinity is fortunately immune to the effects of Hellfire, but not to normal fire itself.

Power Build Up

Using the Hellfire Blade requires a consistent usage from the user because the blade feeds off energy, which builds up the power of its flames. The more the user attacks with it, the stronger the flames and the bigger the output becomes when they’re conjured. In a minimum state, fire simply licks up and down the blade, giving a scorching touch to the sword’s swings. At this base level, anything that comes in contact with the sword that is combustive will instantly shoot to flames, such as someone’s clothing or just stabbing the sword into a tree. But as Trinity pours energy into the blade while using the blade’s more active abilities, the power output will scale, causing more fire to engulf the blade. Consequently, this causes the drain on Trinity’s stamina to scale, as well.

The weapon goes through three tiers, with tier one being its base tier, and the third tier being its strongest. The more energy that is invested over time in a battle, the greater the tier becomes until it reaches the third, in which, all its best abilities become available to Trinity, yet at the cost of a lot of her power. Trinity can choose not to ascend to the higher tiers simply by not using any of the blade’s abilities to allow the energy to dissipate, or by using a high caliber attack to exhaust all the built up energy, which will be listed below.

Tier One Techs

  • Hellfire Slash

By swinging the sword, Trinity releases a projectile of Hellfire that can travel up to fifty feet, shaped as a crescent that is the same size as the arc of the swing.
  • Line of Fire

Trinity stabs the blade into the ground, emitting a line of rising fire up to fifteen feet in a direction in front of her. The fire has a height of four feet and covers one foot in width. Even if the ground cannot be stabbed through, this attack still occurs.
  • Burning Punch

Trinity ignites her hand and forearm in Hellfire, then punches the arm at whatever her target is. The Hellfire is minor and also is meant to give a burning touch, thus it will disperse upon physical contact. An alternative use of this is placing the sword in a reverse grip, then igniting the wielding hand, punching at someone with the pommel erupted in hellfire. Another variation is using her foot, knee, or elbows instead.
  • Bursting Charge

Holding her sword in a reverse grip with the tip pointing behind her, Trinity can create a burst of momentum from a small explosion of the Hellfire to shoot her in a quick dash up to ten feet. In fact, she can point the sword in any direction to alter her velocity in whatever direction she wishes.

Tier Two Techs
(requires using six Tier One Techs to ascend to this tier)
  • Hellfire Sphere

Generates a ball of Hellfire that is one foot in diameter. Can be launched up to fifty feet before exploding, damaging anyone within a two foot radius. Trinity can cause the ball to explode prematurely by will.
  • Pillar of Flames

Pressing the tip of the sword against the ground, Trinity releases a flamethrower toward the ground, which creates an explosive force that rides her into the air up to twenty feet, though she can control the height under this range. As she ascends, fire shoots underneath her like a rocket taking off the ground, damaging anyone who gets within a two-foot range of her.
  • Ignited Bullrush

A stronger version of the Bursting Charge. Trinity swirls a torrent of flames around her body, then is propelled forward by an explosive force up to twenty feet, bashing into anything in her way while leaving a line of flames behind her. She can direct her motion in many other directions as variations.
  • Flaming Wave

A stronger vesion of Line of Fire. The distance is increased to twenty five feet, the height up to ten feet, and the width increased to three feet.
  • Hellfire Breathe

This move does not originate from Trinity’s mouth as the title implies, but instead it emits a flamethrower up to twenty feet from her sword. Due to the cone shape, the fire spreads as the distance increases, able to effect a width at max range up to five feet.
  • Wall of Fire

Trinity creates a barrier of fire that is five feet long, ten feet high, and two feet thick in a given direction within her line of sight by stabbing her blade downward in front of herself. It creates a rising torrent of flames that don’t stop movement, but instead slows it, along with burning anyone who gets into its range. Disperses after one post.
  • Exhaust Tech – Eruption

Concentrating the Hellfire around Trinity in a spherical shape, she causes it to explode, knocking back and damaging anyone within five feet of her. This technique exhausts all the built up energy in the sword, reverting the sword back to tier one. In addition, the required number of techs for tier two are reset.

Tier Three Techs (requires using six Tier Two techs)
  • Hell’s Legion

Igniting the blade in a surging whirlwind of flames, Trinity swings her sword around in designated directions, throwing Hellfire in a five-foot radius around her. Great for turning the area around her into a burning ring. As an variation of this move, she can spin herself around on the ground or in the air to create a wild shower of Hellfire.
  • Sun Sphere

Trinity creates a sphere of fire that is three feet in diameter. She can then either move it to where ever she wishes within thirty feet and explode it, damaging anyone within five feet of it, or she can attack it herself and cause it to explode in the direction she chooses as a close to medium range attack.
  • Devil’s Sword

A construct of Hellfire is made on the blade, and extends up to ten feet. Acting as an extension of the sword, Trinity can swing it in one direction, which, on contact, causes all the fire to explode and lay waste to whatever is within range. The construct also comes with concussive force.
  • Hell Shield

A stronger version of wall of fire. Unlike the weaker version, this now acts as a true physical and supernatural shield. It spreads up to thirty feet feet, is twenty feet high, and is five feet thick. This barrier lasts for three posts, though can be penetrated by the right offenses.
  • Exhaust Tech – Hell’s Maw

Trinity unleashes an unbelievable amount of Hellfire in a wild surge around her body, which then takes the shape of a dragon’s open mouth. She chooses a direction and is thrown toward it, able to move up to one hundred feet at a very fast speed. Anyone caught in her path is struck with a train-like force, along with ignited by the Hellfire itself. A variation of this technique is releasing the ten foot diameter without Trinity being propelled forward, firing it as a projectile instead. Its power decreases as it reaches its maximum range due to Trinity not being with it. This technique exhausts all of the sword’s energy, reverting it back to tier one. Because it takes a considerable amount of time and energy to even get to tier three, Trinity will likely not be able to reach this tier again without rest.
  • HellFire Armor

This is a special ability that Trinity can use with her sword. It requires 50% of her energy, but after spending this, her sword transforms and morphs over her body. An aerodynamic red shell fits to the figure of her body, having a scaled-like formation of plates. Upon her head, a helmet with sharp appendages, one on each side, point backwards. The only thing that shows on her face are two glassy-looking orbs for eyes that look rather menacing, as if it was frowning. Her hands gain claws and her shows become sharp-looking in texture, including talons that can be erected from the toes. The armor can take quite some punishment, as its nature is similar to that of powered suits. However, equally powerful attacks will eventually take it down.

In this armor, Trinity can shoot Hellfire from her body. The Hellfire is not as powerful when used with it, but she mainly uses it to supplement physical attacks. She has access to all the Tier One techniques that she can do with her sword. In addition, she uses the fire to boost her mobility, such as flying, skating around the ground as if she had skates, and increasing the speed of her attacks. It's not uncommon to see her attack with Hellfire enveloped around her arm or leg to give them an extra spark. She can last in this armor for ten minutes. Any longer, and the fire begins burning at her skin, along with drastically draining away both her energy and stamina.

Leviathan Armor

Trinity's skin-tight red suit that covers over most of her body is made of the tough skin of a sea dragon, normally called a leviathan. Her gloves that extend up to her biceps are made of the same material. Though leviathan skin is normally scaled, Trinity's armor comes from a special leviathan that can move from land to sea whenever it wishes. Thus, its skin is made for water travel and moving along the rough terrain of land. The material is incredibly flexible for its thickness, allowing Trinity to make it into armor that provided just enough defense to decrease damage from attacks while allowing her to keep her dexterity. The armor has has a glossy dull sheen that gives it the resemblance of shiny leather. The armor is just as powerful as scaled armor, and is resistant to blows, slashes, and stabs. The armor is penetrable, but its thickness decreases the effectiveness. However, something designed for hacking through armor will move right through her suit. The armor also has minor magic resistance, so shaves some damage off magical force. The armor is enchanted with a rune on the back that repairs damage to the armor over a time period of one hour as a passive ability. Another effect of the rune is that it increased the protection to the vital areas, such as the heart, by giving a higher density to lessen force to those areas.

Her collar, shoulder pads, gauntlets, and boots are made from the bones of the same leviathan that makes up her suit. The bone is highly resistant, capable of sustaining a large amount of punishment before it shows any cracks.

Juiraya War Fan

This weapon is four foot long, closed up in a seven pound handle made of durable magic oak. The folds of the fan, when open, are made of a paper-like substance that seems resistant to tearing. Painted upon the folds is the image of a flying red dragon. The edges of the folds are bladed, giving the fan a lethal touch to its swings. A special feature of this weapon is that Trinity can stretch the folds all the way around to the point that both ends touch each other, connecting to create a circular large disc, which she can then throw as a bladed saw of death, usually throwing by the small hole in the center. The weapon normally returns back around to her by supernatural means, which is through the use of runic magic.

She obtained this weapon from defeating a former mentor. After that, she absorbed her mentor's soul into the weapon as punishment for losing to her. However, after she was free from the Red Leviathan's control, she released her mentor to give her long lasting peace.

Dagger-Needles

Trinity carries multiple seven inch needles that, up to ten, have the ability to transform into daggers of the same length. She can transform them each by will. Popular places of placing these is in pouches on her belt, in her boots, in her gloves, and even in her hair, sometimes having them appear as hair pins. Each needle is made of enchanted steel, granting it durability and strength. She uses the needles as lock-picking utensils, on the side.

Sharp Hair

There's another unique use of Trinity's hair. She can weave out up to ten feet of it to create a length of sharp wire, employing it however she wants. Given its steel-like strength, the wire is pretty good for uses such as choking someone or performing other grasping maneuvers. Its thin size makes it pretty hard to see, as well, acting as a nice tool for setting up traps.

Vicious Vice

A katana with a 2' 5" long blade given to her as a gift by Maria. This sword is a magical weapon that is more resilient than the normal katana, so will not chip or break against dense objects so quickly. It's special ability is being able to absorb one ability that is used against her, and store it for use whenever she wants. The ability has to have traveled through space to get to her, and the ability is then activated by Trinity's will. She can absorb one ability at a time, in which she cannot absorb another until the current one is expended. The weapon can crack if it attempts to absorb too many attacks in time, or tries to absorb a very powerful attack, usually the type that are meant to be finishers. As for the scale of attacks it's capable of consuming, it normally can absorb abilities that take up to four posts to conjure. To use the ability of this sword, it requires 10% of her energy per use, but does not need to spend any energy if she's releasing a stored ability.

Celestial Claymore

This is the very weapon Trinity use to use when she was known as Serenity back at her homeland. The handguard and handle are a mixture of white and blue colors, with the blade being a polished gray of enchanted metal. This weapon has control over the Celestial waters of the Celestia plane, and thus makes it the complete opposite of the Hellfire Blade. However, she enjoys using the Hellfire Blade more than her former weapon, so has neglected learning its abilities. So far, the only thing she can manage with the weapon is throwing around water and freezing it. But hasn't put in the work to learn its other intricacies.

So begins...

A woman dressed in red leather tight suit was sitting above in the rafters, chuckling to herself. Armored pauldrons, gauntlets, and greaves dressed her body, giving her a warrior look. Red straight hair fell from her head, contrasting with the whiteness of her skin. Red eyes continued to stare at the commotion below, though disappointed to see the situation die down.

"Guns. Only cowards use guns." Trinity was speaking a bit loudly, enough for those below her to hear. Her voice was a bit light and very clear. If she knew how to sing, she likely would make a great vocalist.

"Your highness? I will dare not ask why a man of a high position is in a place like this. And using a gun as his protection. You are just asking to be kidnapped, killed, or something worse." Trinity laughed a little more. She understood her own humor, which was more twisted than your standard mindset.

Trinity looked left. Then she looked to the right. It was almost like she was using naked sight to try to find these warriors that the man mentioned. Of course, she could not spot them with vision alone. It required more sophisticated techniques for that kind of surveillance. Trinity hopped down from the rafters, landing onto the floor. She stood at a good six feet tall, her figure a lot more prominent on ground level. One could tell the athleticism that conformed beneath her suit.

"Only ten men? You know..." She drawled her words as her eyes flickered to the side. "If I was here to say...kidnap you...it would take at least fifty men to protect you." She flashed her eyes back to him, her red painted lips smirking all the same. It was hard to tell if she was teasing him or being serious.

She extended her arms out to her side. "Does there need to be a reason? Do we always need a reason for fighting? For warring, like it sounds from this empire of yours? I tire of people always asking for reasons. Always asking for some sort of motive. Those with motives are the easiest to read." She pointed her finger at him, aimed at his face. "If you want something that you will understand, then I guess I can give you one. I will gain one thing from kidnapping you: pleasure. The pleasure of watching those who care for you try to save you."

These civilized people were getting on Trinity's nerves. Time to give this "prince" a lesson in humility. Her right hand went to quickly grab the prince by his face, her gauntlet hand attempting to squeeze it in a grasp. Then, man-handling him with above average strength, she will push him into the counter, knocking over glasses and plates resting upon it. In sync with her maneuver, red flames flickered to life in her left hand, a three-foot greatsword appearing into her grasp. The weapon was the embodiment of hell. From the spiked-design of the black handguard to the red tinted color of the unearthly steel, the weapon of hellfire was now grasped in her hand threatening.

Of course, she was not going to bring any additional harm to him. She just wanted to see the reactions of everyone in here who cared for him. It was one of those "pleasures" she fed off of seeing.

Trinity felt her grip in her left hand compromised as the snowbound fellow at the bar struck at her sword as soon as it appeared. He did not knock it out of her hand, but he did manage to cause her arm to lower, as if the sword had gotten heavier. At the same time, her hand did not even reach the prince. In fact, he was moving further away. At first, she took it as some form of super reflexes, until she noticed the distorting space around her. It did not take long for her to smell the familiar scent of psychic energy. The thing wrapped around her, and she was soon thrown into a wall. Twice, too. Her body went falling to the ground, after that, sitting against it. At least her sword was still in her grasp. Her head was bowed for the time being, as if she had been knocked unconscious.

"I want you to kill her." Those words were quite the threat. It caused Trinity to smile and chuckle from her seated position. She made use of her sword to push herself back to her feet, her right hand rubbing at the back of her neck. "A wall is the worst way of attacking someone you know." She did not look like a woman who had just been thrown against it, either. Her expression was neutral, but her smile was gone.

Trinity began walking slowly toward Yuriko, letting her sword remain low at her side. She did not even look like she was ready to attack anyone, but appearances were deceiving. "Those with power are the only ones who can warn anyone. That prince of yours, for instance, has much power. That is very amusing. Unfortunately, his kind of power is fragile and easily taken apart. Once that happens, he will no longer be able to have sway over anything." Her eyes once again flashed to the prince.

She indeed was entering the five feet mark. She saw the veil of the barrier. She even had her right hand raise up and touch against it, caressing it like glass. The sleeves of her apparel burned themselves off, revealing the white skin of her arms. Lighting up on her arm were a total of three runes, glowing in a dim red color.

"How convenient," she responded. "I kill gods for a living." The runes along her right arm began to pulse as she turned around to the prince, stalking toward him like before. "If I were to clash my power against yours, Your Highness, I can guarantee that this bar will be raided to the ground in less than a minute. But that is too easy. I will kill your little servant shortly, but first, I want answers."

"Firstly that," she answered, her finger pointing once again. She stopped once more near him, the same distance before the Japanese school girl intruded on their time together. "I met a few like yourself, princes and princesses who felt like they were okay as long as they had their parents and their army wrapped around their fingers. Do you know what kind of people that makes you weak to? Assassins. You think you are okay now, but I assure you that you can die any moment. That power of yours is an illusion."

"You have done more than you think," she answered. "You are existing. That is more than enough to get my interest. I have taken the lives of princes like you for much less. I remember being at one of those high fashion parties out in some country to the west." She rolled her hand as if bringing up an old memory in a shrugging manner. "Cut the guy's head off his shoulders the moment he asked me to step aside." She looked back to the prince, her expression becoming a surprise. "Really? The nerve of that guy!" At that moment, it was clear the prince was not talking to a normal person he could reason with. In addition to his exalted persona, how could he? Everyone must have been beneath him, so she likely was just another commoner to him who he wanted daddy to take care of.

"It is funny how things work out, you know. Now you have given me another reason to kidnap you. I want to see how long you cry." Another rune lit up, this time along her left arm, making four runes total in activation. Once again, Trinity reached out at the prince. This time, however, she went for his arm that had went for his gun. She would attempt to apprehend his limb and squeeze it with a very strong grip, as if a much bigger person was grabbing him than her build let on. The strength alone should keep him from even being able to grab for his weapon.

She replied to the kid: "Go away, you brat. The adults are talking."

The kick at the entrance and the shouting of what sounded like authority was acknowledged, but Trinity was hardly giving them fair attention as they demanded. She stabbed her blade into the floor, all the while the prince struggled and cried at her. She had the nerve to just rip his vocal cords out, but that would just spoil the fun. With her other hand free, she stopped him from attacking her as he gripped at his wrist, the same strength being utilized. And with a pull on his arms, Trinity brought them close.

Bam! She sent a headbutt at his cranium in an attempt to knock him out. As this happened, two things occurred as a defensive mechanism. One, Yuriko's psychic powers gripped around Trinity's body. But the runes upon her arms pulsed once more. This supernatural ward was meant to be used against attacks like this, causing her powers to slowly lessen to the point that they were hardly a threat. It was a sacrifice of some of Trinity's power, but a warrior could not live in this world without some safety measures against mages.

And then the second mechanism: a wall of flames erupted from where her sword was lying, spanning a wall that split off one side of the bar from the other. The red flames were not natural: this was Hellfire manifested into the living world. Any living being that dared touch it will be in for a world of hurt, as both body and soul will be burned at.

"You're coming with me, prince."

The anti magical grenade began to snuff out the hellfire. At least the "hell" part. The flames left over were returned to being normal fire, which, as a result...well, began to spread. The hellfire very close to the weapon was not removed, however. The Hellfire Blade was a potent artifact: it wasn't easy to null its effects with simply anti magical fields. It required clerical rituals, as well. The runes, like a bubble, actually met the field itself and sort of put them each at a stand still effect. As a result, the runes were still working, but the fields would at least make it harder for Trinity to use powers of her own. She could even feel its presence, which was agitating her body considering her blood had mana-like power inside it.

Unfortunately, neither of these stopped her from attacking the prince. Assuming the prince was knocked out, Trinity tossed him over her right shoulder. The Hellfire blade suddenly flashed, red flames covering over each part of the woman's body like a snake wrapping and gripping her firmly. The sword disappeared, and remained there was Trinity wrapped up in an aerodynamic-shaped red armor, curved from head to toe in a devilish design. Her face was no longer visible as a helm replaced it with two glowing beads that represented her eyes.

Trinity finally turned around, the man's body hoisted over her shoulder whether he was still conscious or not. Her laugh came from within, sounding like it was echoing against the inner chambers.

"You can die," she responded with her new voice. "This man must learn the value of his life before I let him go." Steam and flames licked around her new body.

Trinity looked back to the guys shouting at her. To her, all of them were enemies. Even hearing that there were at least two armed forces here caused her to think for a moment. She could either burn off some steam by blowing through a few bodies and trucks...or decide to give it up.

"Hands on my head? Like this?" Trinity, still in her archaic armor, did just that, placing her hands behind her head. Of course, the area within five feet of her was as hot as a stove set to 425 fahrenheit, a cooking temperature.

"Politics," she said in that eerie mechanical voice of hers. "Empires...armies...they are nothing. They can all be taken down. History repeats. Over...and over. But a single person...a single person can live without dependence on these illusions of yours. Catch me if you can."

And just like that, fire erupted from beneath her feet, and Trinity went flying through the ceiling, exiting the bar, and shooting off through the air like Iron Man.

After her little stunt a few days ago, a few "security" was hanging around the area, more than usual. But she was skillful and able to avoid their eyes, entering the bar and now sitting at a table mindlessly eating grapes from a bowl. The half armored woman in red looked bored.
