Personality

A charming nosferatu who comes from a northern province. His behaviour is distinctly sauve, smooth even, his mannerisms controlled and his accent nonspecific. He carries himself with a sense of pride, superiority and patience. While certainly an intimidating figure, at times he has shown the ability to care for those who matter to him.

Equipment

Physique
As a part of his vampiric traits, Vincent has enhanced regeneration, to the point where wounds are recovered from almost instantly. This talent, as well as a lot of Vincent's magic and physical strength are lost in the sun. He also maintains the ability to change to a progressively more threatening form. Of course, to get to this point he must sacrifice much of his dignity.

Equipment
Sword: When stabbed or cut with this blade it progressively saps the energy of the target giving it to Vincent
Dagger: When stabbed or cut with this blade it progressively steals the soul of the injured target. Prolonged exposure will result in their soul being trapped inside the dagger.
Armour: Sunder ability, which switches the life force of the target and Vincent, swapping how weak and tired they are. Must be used at close range, takes time to prepare, one fight use.

Nosferatu
The ancient magics tied to the blood of the nosferatu are fabled in their powers capable of great feats. One of the most notable natural gifts bestowed allows him to focus his piercing gaze into the eyes of another and invading their mind. After having done so he can prompt them to act under his influence with mere vocal suggestion or implant deep seated mental traps to bring upon a later day. Even for those not caught under his control, those who meet his gaze can be subject to a subtle assaults on the mind of the individual that scales from a direct disabling attack to inspiring their darkest fear into their hearts.

Vampirism
Being vampiric in nature the powers associated are within in his grasp. As such he can be dangerously brutal in his blood based abilities. Through touch he can drain the raw energies that consist of a persons life and sap them down to nothing. Likewise, he can send out sharp spikes of his own lifeblood to poison others, weakening and slowing them. In addition he is able to convert his entire body into a pool of blood temporarily which can harm any who step into it.

Death
One so closely bound to death has a certain control over it. Vincent's retains the ability to give life to the unliving, resulting in the horrible state of undeath for what he selects. Dangerous spells related to death are also available in his retinue of powers.

History

After the death of his love Eleanor, Vincent was driven into a mad quest to search up ways to bring her back. Turning to necromancy and macabre sciences, he spent many years looking for an answer to death until he found a way that he would never have to lose his family again.

Vampirism.

He converted himself followed quickly by his daughter Sanina then later his other daughter Kaitlynn, as she was away at the time.

So begins...

Vincent Lessard's Story

Vincent Lessard steps into the bar, a man of such a perculiar look about him. Certainly he was a gentleman, the way he carried himself and the clothing he wore made that clear, but there were certain qualities about him that made something seem just slightly different. His unnaturally pale skin, the distinct stench of death that hung in the air as he passed and the clear look in his eyes that said that he was here for a reason.

A hand slides back to brush strands of hair over his ear as his eyes trail about the room. His arms slip over each other, folding across his chest as he let's out a loud sigh. He was here now and that distant ache sat in his body, a certain yearning for blood. For now he would surpress it or perhaps ask the local people for some help. He could practically smell the other vampires in here.

Vincent Lessard looks to Sanina with a frown. "Try to make the most of it Sanina. Enjoy the local life," he sort of states rather then suggests. He progresses into the room, eyes passing over the few that were there. He takes a sniff, smelling for other vampires in the roof.

Vincent Lessard stalks forward into the bar, careful steady steps carrying him through the estblishment with a glance left, then right. Were there none who could suit his needs? "Are there any vampires in here?" he calls casually.

Vincent Lessard returns to Sanina with a disappointed frown. "It appears there are none at this time to sate my desires. Perhaps I should feed from one of the lesser people...?" he says, though poses it as a dry sort of question. His hand casually brushed his hair back over one ear, a small action that he did annoyingly frequently.

Vincent Lessard gives an appraising glance for the briefest of moments. "Fear me when they do not even know me? Interesting, but I doubt our reputation precedes us. I feel I should seek other non-vampires, though they're blood is not nearly so sweet to drink," he comments. Not sweet in flavour but sweet in prize.

Vincent Lessard found his attention captured by the strange man that was Matthew Knight. "I think perhaps one of these people could suffice. Their parting flesh beneth hour fangs shall be our only satisfaction on this night," he says with a slight tilt of his head in consideration.

Swiftly stepping forth to the counter his eyes slide over the few other patrons who remain, most specifically Reginald, Lolita and Matthew. He would wait and not interrupt, but his patience could wear awfully thin.

Vincent Lessard nods on the suggestion, turning his attention towards Lolita. He took the insistence as a sign of impatience and thus ignored his previous patience in addressing the woman. "Ma'am, could I inquire on the matter of some business for a few mere moments?" he queries.

Vincent Lessard nods slowly. "Business to do with myself, my daughter, her daughter and vampirism. We are all in need of feeding and I was curious to see if you would kindly submit yourself to our fangs. We have made a long journey and we are so desperately in need of fresh blood."

Vincent Lessard presses a hand to his chin, as if in contemplating it. "You are retired? I take it you have a very good reason to retire, thus I am unconcerned by your hollow threats. If you really wish to force my hand and simply take you I can do so also. It has been some time since I faced a challenge to my life."

Vincent Lessard walks into the bar with a precise look to either side, as if he knew the exact distance he had to look each way to be fully satisfied with an examination of the room. He breaths in deeply then lets it out. "I hunger," he says in a soft voice, then rests a hand on his head. It was starting to get to him.

He blinks at hearing the mention of vampirism in the bar. With a rub of his jaw he looks to his daughter Sanina. That he would appreciate. "Hello daughter," he says casually, "I believe we are in luck on this day."

Vincent Lessard feels a subtle grin come to his face. "With luck I will... return to you shortly with a willing meal," he says with the strange quietings and pauses that he speech held. He turns sharply but precisely to the bar, then strides in the direction of Crest. "Excuse me," he offers a polite hand forward, "Did I hear you mention... vampirism?"

Vincent Lessard nods, then waves a hand in Sanina's direction. "Me, my daughter and her daughter require feeding. We find ourselves better able to control our behaviour when we feed from other vampires." In truth, he only spoke of himself, but it was unimportant.

Vincent Lessard reaches a hand out to lightly rest on Sanina's shoulder for the briefest of moments before he turns precisely to the rest of the the patrons in the bar. This was going to be easier then he suspected. Or... as easy as he expected. Either way.

Vincent Lessard didn't respond to the mans goodbyes, heading for the counter with a subtle grin on his face. His fangs poked out over his lip as his body begins to tremble before he finally breaks into a mad laughter. He let's out a horrible cackle, shaking as he does, hands pressed against the counter until finally he breaks into great heaving laughs, leaning down on the bar top with none of the grace he normally has.

Vincent Lessard blinks, amused grin sticking to his face. "My laugh? Of course..." he says dryly, turning away from her. For the moment he was going to celebrate this victory with a night time prowl. A horrendous shriek comes from the skies as he calls forth his pet. "Sanina, take care of my grand daughter," he says with a nod.

Vincent Lessard enters the bar with a mad sense around him, hinting at a certain darkness held within, though his eyes said it all. His face flashed to manic laughter for the briefest of moments before it was gone as if it was never there and judging by the flash it may have just been magic. The truth of the matter, the man was here in search of others.

"Are there vampires in this establishment?" he calls out casually.

Vincent Lessard turns back to the door hearing some form of a commotion from that direction. His madness sinking back into the depths of his consciousness he places forth a pleasant smile, hand twisting the knob of the door gently to open it for Anaiya.

"What troubles you?" he asks with a calm sense of charm flowing forth from his smooth appearance, right hand brushing his hair back over his ear. It was completely different to what he had displayed barely moments before.

Vincent Lessard blinks, also moving aside to allow entry. "The handle of... the door," he indicated in his soft and slow voice with unusually pauses sometimes making his speech patterns strange and scattered. "You turn... it to allow entrance." His gaze travels to Alek and he puts forth a gentle smile, fangs poking over his lower lip as he does.

"Vincent Lessard," he offers preemptively to the drow, practically a sigh "Just fresh here with my... family from the north."

Vincent Lessard feels his eyes twitching ever so slightly. "You possess some intelligence... to realise that without having it... demonstrated properly," he says politely, body tilting in a gentle bow of respect. His gaze slips to the elf, blinking gently.

"The drow? I find no surprise that they have traitors, but even spiders serve me in death," he says, much darker then before and even allowing his features to crease darkly. "But please, extrapolate Kin."
