Vipteri's Story
“
Enters and finds hersefl a seat near the goings on, motions for a strong tae like drink without speaking as her throat is dry. Two coins of some odd make, clearly of ancient make, are set on the surface of a counter of some kind.

the felinelike woman listened first with half an ear, but at mention of Varcolac her eyes turn towards Cyern, mostly with confusion, and slight anger. His voice sounded hauntingly familar to her.

'A child' the cloaked woman thought spotting Tatsu, she noticed something out of the corner of her eyes, a soft smile on her face then at that point though none could see it. Taking her drink she went towards Zaga, hand up in greeting. She remembered his kind from stories and legends of long ago, but had never seen such a being before.

It was then that Vipteri made herself known toowards Zaga, reaching up with one hand she removed her hood, her bright green catlike eyes were seen as was her whole head, dark blue fur, black hair that hadn't seen anything of clean water for several weeks. a drink was in one hand. She bowed slightly towards Zaga in greeting.

Her voice strained as if from lack of drink or any type of proper treatment she replied. "I am Vipteri, a traveler. It is an honor to meet with one so regal in legends of old." She noticed the iron around Zaga's neck. 'A prisoner of some kind? an old one held by another?'
Great of all the legends she had to meet with for the first time one fo them was a prisoner of another! She never did get the hang of magical spells or the like, other then aiming and defending oneself against the natures. Maybe if she could shoot it off with a aiming spell from her bow? No that would not work, her bow was in her room on the second floor. ”

"Possible" Vipteri rasped in reply, the only possible way that she knew of to get it off was a aiming spell and a arrow, the only problem she had with an aiming spell was the proper ammount of concentration to do it at such a scale, yet this one seemed of sotne and would not worry if injured.

She only knew one or two spells for aiming an arrow, and one of those was merely for hunting the other was a far away target, or closer, either way it would be a long shot, literally so. she nodded then. and hoped it would work. Finishing her tea she set the cup on a passing waiters tray. Now all they had to do was head to her room to get her bow ”

She nodded her head. She had a bow and several arrows, and was also looking for am arketplace to get more. Though finiding a palce that sold meter long arrow shafts was hard to do indeed. "It is in my hotel up upstairs, come. This way." She said turning towards where the stairs were at to head up.
She healted at the stairs looking back to Zaga as he made to follow. "I must warn you, i have only used the spell when hunting for dinner." ”

With a soft smile the dark claked catlike woman headed up the stairs, taking them three at a time to the second floor.

The setting changes from Gambit's Bar to Gambit's Hotel, 2nd Floor

Upon arriving at the second floor Vipteri headed for a totally random room marked with a single number 4, which seemed odd for such a hotel no doubt. unlocking the door she entered not bothering to turn on the light. she went right to the desk of sorts and opened a long oddlooking item. Removing a shaft of some kind from a case, and a rather ornate bow never seen in this universe before (or since). looked back to Zaga and rasped quietly. "When you are ready, I will be ready." With those words Vipteri went tree still and waited for his response. Hoping deep within that it would work.

Seeing that Zaga had not followed her up the stairs she took the arrow and bow and left the room, locking the door behind her. She headed back to the lower floor, hoping he was still there, maybe the Arena could be the right space?

turning right around when she spotted the good gargoyel she hoped beyond hope the aiming spell would work right, she looked ot him, holding in her hands her rather oddly orante bow for one liek herself, with a single black shafted silver tipped arrow. but the arrow was not yet struck to the bow. She looked to Zaga, asking him quietly in her raspy voice. "Are you ready Honored One?" As soon as he was ready she would be ready

She nodded slowly, he wasready, and so was she. She struck the boow and pulled back the arrow, as she did so she murmered several odd words and the silver tip of the arrow glowed bright blue. Its target found, she fired. She shot was straight and true, and connected solidly with the iron restraint, blasting into it with arcane power. shattering the mechanism within. the arrow itself passed on and lodged itself in the wall behind Zaga near the roof. the restraint though was still on his neck, but now easy to remove, its power destoryed.

Then she noticed a faint line of red as if Zaga had been burnt, quickly slinging her bow across her back at an angle she drove forewards. a piece of cloth in one hand. Hopefully it was only a result of the spell. Hopefully. ”

Vipteri had no idea how to reply to that, in her debt? But she was just a traveler looking for her place in the world around her. She did however smile, her razor sharp teeth were just barely seen. "Anything to help an Honored One" She said, watching the line of red fade away into nothing.
With a slight push from the ground Vipteri jumped upwards and grabbed hold of the wall near the arrow, muttering another odd word of her native langauge of Mandarin, she pulled the arrow from the wall and slid it into her belt quiver at her hip. She looked back at Zaga.
"Who placed the metal upon you, Honored One?" She asked him quietly, she felt tired from using the spell. But then she hadn't exactly sleep a full night of sleep in almost nine weeks. ”

If one could bind one from legend of old they must have been powerful enemies indeed. She reached out a hand, palm open, lifting Zagas chin to look upwards. a soft smile on her face. "No Honored One, don't look down. You are freed now. There are none that have the strength of will to bind one such as your self." she rasped. "You are one of legend, stories I grew up with as a child. Even though I still am a child to some." she remembered the tales she was told growing up on the plains of Mongolia, it wasn't something that anyone would want to do. she removed her hand from his chin. a small tear slid down her cheek as she remembered the dream that had constantly haunted her all her life. "It is I who should look down instead of you." she said at last. suddenly very shy

She looked away, taking one step as she spoke. "I never saw who my mother and father were, but I heard them speaking." She recounted the day of her birth, "They left me to die, but I was found my a wandering tribe, taken in. I cannot sleep because of those voices, the voices of my mother and father." She looekd back at Zaga, "Since then i have grown to be what you see before you. A woman, yet not so. None of my tribe were like me." She once more opened her hotel room dfoor, marked with the single number of 4 on the fromnt and entered the room, allowing Zaga to follow behind her, this time she turned on the light.
Setting the bow on the dresser she removed her dark emerald robe and cloak. allowing herself to be seen fully, thick russian blue colored fur covered her from head to foot, her wild black hair ending at her shoulders. and a pair of daggers were on her upper legs. ”

She stepped closer to Zaga, "You are one of the legends of old that I was told as a child, the wandering tribe i grew up with taught me everything, even the spell that freed you. The one that did that to you had no right to do such a thing to an Honored One like yourself" she said. She herself would hate it if she were chained in any way.

She stood up and went to a counter, there was a sink there, taking a cup from nearby she filled it with water and drank it down. ”

Seeing that Zaga had made himself comfortable enough to nod off for sleep Vipteri stood from the bed and went to the desk, removing from it the bow and a few arros, slinging the bow to her back. she turned back to Zaga. "If you wish for sleep in peace and in freedom, you may do so here. I will speak with the propertier of this place to see about getting you a room." AShe said thinknig to herself 'and possibly find a place where I could earn some money for passge to find my parents.'

Vipteri came down the stairs near the bar common room area, her bow across her back, a dark green skirt about her waist, she was in need of strong tea once more. She headed straight for the bar.

She watched everything, seeing the sudden anger of some at each otherm, then injury of another that just entered, maybe the drink could wait. For now at least. The blue furred catlike woman headed towards Siobahn, her hand open and up in greeting.

With the ornamented bow slung over one shoulder she may have looked rather intimidating. Not that it mattered one was injured and as such only one could help. Though Vipteri knew no healing spells, but she did know of natural bandages. With a short bow of her head Vipteri sat across from Siobahn.
"You are injured" she said in her raspy voice, even if she had a drink strong enough it would still be dry, that was one of the downsides of being a cat in a humans body she learned to live with it. "If you will allow, I may be of help." ”

Reaching forwards to inspect the wound Vipteri muttered something in her native language. "it is not deep. Bit it is bleeding." A waiter walked past, reaching out with her tail she natches a rag, a good sized one at that, from the passing waiter. Seeing that Siobahn was focused on two things at once she said quietly. "Come let us worry of your injury before anything else." She took the towel and after taking what appearred to be a leaf of some kind from something on her belt wrapped the wound tightly. She could not help but rasp. "what did you get into?"

Vipteri had to chuckle, though it sounded like a chriping sound. "This area is full of surprises" she rasped. First she meet an Honored One, then she met a injured one. And helped both! even after waking up and before breakfast! "Market place? you must mean the Bazaar down the way?"
