A large portal opened above one of the Sky Islands, allowing a strange spaceship to enter the area. Designed to look nearly the same as the old galleons of the 18th century with the word 'Seishaw' written along both sides of the bow, massive solar sails hung from the five masts, three layers of cannons present on both sides of the massive ship. What made this structure strange was the strange wing-like nets that protruded from both sides of the stern, floating perfectly as if unaffected by gravity. The large engines quickly fell to a humming stop as the ship wondered above the island, stopping all movement in the process.
A loud, high pitched scream could be heard from within the cabin as Abigail screamed as loud as her lungs would allow, clutching hard on one of her books as she did so. In front of her, Patraeko stood, watching in amazement while holding a clipboard, a great smile across his face which slowly faded as Abigail stopped to catch her breath, breathing heavily in fatigue as she looked over her glasses at Patraeko. "Well? Do you feel anything?" Patraeko asked, eager for good results as he held a pen to the clipboard.
"No, nothing." Abigail replied between her breaths, causing Patraeko to click his tongue in annoyance as he crossed a label saying 'Super Saiyan' off his list.
"Dang, so you're not Saiyan. Perhaps you could be an exorcist, or maybe a vampire. Oh a Demon king would be good."
"King? I'm a girl."
"Hey, I'm not transphobic.
"No, I'm a girl.
"You can identify as what you want.
Abigail gave a puzzled look as a third voice sounded from outside the entrance to the cabin, coming more clear as Vladimir entered the room. "Patraeko, what have you been doing to her now?" He asked, his voice filled with annoyance as he took the clipboard from Patraeko, "What does this say?"
"Oi, I'm just finding our protagonist's special power." Patraeko answered, attempting to grab the clipboard back from Vladimir's hands, only to watch it get snapped in half, the paper ripped to shreds.
"Stop messing around, this isn't some superhero movie." Vladimir snapped, hitting Patraeko across the back of his head with what's left of the clipboard. "We have something more important to worry about, some woman just opened a portal in front of the ship, apparently we've made it to an unregistered area. Which is impossible, ever since the formation of the Commonwealth, the whole galaxy had been registered."
Patraeko's face lit up at this information, "Just like an anime!" he called out of excitement, leaving Vladimir's face to fall to a scowl...
Outside, on the top deck of the ship, the crew continued their work half-heartedly, paying more attention on the rare sights of the floating islands that existed below them. It was obvious the crew were neither Human nor Shaki'lyu, they seemed to be strange green-coloured goo like creatures with bits of stone layered over their body as means to allow them to shape themselves into four-legged creatures. Among this group stood the two immortals, Connor and Charlotte, both standing at the railings of the ship to look at the strange islands. Although, Charlotte was struggling to look over the railing due to her height.
Suddenly, the door to the cabin was ripped off it's hinges as Patraeko was thrown outside, slapping onto the metal flooring with a loud thud as he continued his journey across the ship, stopping directly next to the two immortals. "Yo," Patraeko greeted with a raised hand before pulling himself back to his feet, dusting his clothes off as if nothing had happened before joining in the admiration of the scenery.
"Ah, Lord Payemyndii. We seem to have made it to unregistered territory, what should we do?" Charlotte asked, still trying to look over the railing.
"We should explore! Like the privateers we are!" Patraeko answered, happy to have been thrown outside. "Vlad! We're going to explore, come join!" He called out as he grabbed Connor by the back of his clothing, throwing him over the railing before joining him in the fall. "Oh, gravity's a thing."
After a small moment of falling, Connor landed perfectly on his feet. He looked around for just a moment before looking up towards the falling Shaki'lyu, his arms raised outwards as he moved side to side in the attempt to catch him. Sadly, the attempt was made in vain as Patraeko face first into the ground with a loud thud, a few feet away from Connor. Luckily, after a few seconds of silence, Patraeko raised his arm and made a thumbs up sign as he spoke "You tried!"
These strange actions, along with the appearance of the ship would have grabbed the attention of all inhabitants of the island, watching as a small circular pod containing Vladimir and Abigail travelled down to the land.
