Wanda Maximoff's Story

The forest was quiet.

Quiet enough to hear a pin drop.

But it was not a pin that dropped. No, not a pin but a person.

Within the beautiful verdate dense forest was a peaceful clearing. Crystals grew upon a rock and tree trunks in a haphazard fashion with no clear direcdtion other then anywhere in various shades of color and style.

the crystals sparkled, and lightning danced upon the edges as energy built up between them in the center of the clearing. An explosion of raw power grew from a small black orb and outwards before revealing something, or rather someone. The woman crashed into a tree trunk and briefly laid still.

Her eyes snapped opened a moment later as she felt it across the universe but why was she still alive ? She had destroyed Vision, destroyed the Mind Stone. But Thanos still used it, still did it.

The headache kicked in. The woman hissed softly. Once it faded Wanda managed to get a clear picture of where she was. She wasnt dead. Thanos hadnt chosen to kill her off. Vision was gone. Now where was she ? She saw crystals all around her. And her back hurt. Sitting up she saw where she had... landed ? Crystals were smashed and arranged more or less like a makeshift chair, and they hurt. She stretched her back and pieces of crystal fell off her.

Now to find out where she was, and why there were crystals around her. A single pair of eyes watched from a crystal far off, but able to see through the shards like spyglasses and cameras

A good few hours after sending the report of the arrival. A pair of men, both in dark caots awaited Droctor Strange. Both men were tall and their faces hidden in the shadows of their hooded coats. "Ah, you have arrived" One of the two coated men said, the other handed the first to speak a shard of glass. It formed a holographic almost magical map of the surrounding area. "We were starting to wonder if you had gotten lost on the way. But now that you are here. we can proceed."

The hooded man walked around the map. "As per your advice we have not engaged the new arrival within this area you see.We have however been watching her carefully for each move made." The coated man indicated on the hyologram a few areas, and then zoomed the map in on where Wanda was. "Since Lady Xeir informed us of your advice to wait for you to arrive before moving in to greet our new arrival. Shall we wait your signal ?" It wasnt often for a Force Dragon to ask if he should wait.

"Right now? No. Right now you need to take me to where she is....I have a suspicion as to her identity and I want to see if it is who I think it is for myself.", Strange said as he motioned for the two men to lead the way. "You two go first...I'll follow right behind you.",he said politely.

He wondered if this person...this new being to this...realm...was who he thought it was upon first hearing of her arrival- Wanda Maximoff aka The Scarlet Witch.

"Of course" Said the coated man as the hologram map of the area faded. With Stephen in tow the three headed for the area their new arrival had landed in. "Allow me to advoise you however, dont tust the red crystals if they seem to be moving. They're breeding. Other crystals, well, we try to let them grow naturally and then when harvestable we use the crystals as forms of information keeping. like journals, books, history segments." The hooded man as they walked went on to explaining how the crystals worked and even showed one off. Holding the finger sized shard he flicked it slightly and words formed in the air. In this case it looked kind of like a phone lockl screen showing the local time, local weather and local position.

Within the crystal laid floor of the Silver Forest there were bunchs of crystal growing randomnly on stumps of dead trees, or growing straight from the ground, crystals of many colors, emerald, opal pink, diamond clear, quarts, and the most potent being hematite. The Hematite at one point used to power machinery. However at this point the Hematite was the main source of the crystals. a hematite crystal was infact quite useless.

Wanda for her part was far enough aways off from the three coming to her to know she had visitors coming to her as she slowly stood up on unsteady legs. Everything came hurtling back like heaqvy rainwater out of nowhere. Visions death, her blowing up the mind stone. Thanos arriving as she disappeared in the blast. She could feel briefly the events of the five stones happening as she was in transit to somewhere. And suddenly. she was there.

In a crystal forest of trees and crystal. A tear slid from her eye. Looking briefly to her hand her magic danced and she smiled. If it came to battle, she could still fight. But Thanos had done his work. Vision was gone. her friends were most likely gone too.

Or so she thought. her magic awareness picked up another magical source, or rather, three more getting closer.

Stephen listened to him and nodded before turning his gaze towards the direction they were traveling. He sighed as he walked while thoughts of who this person was ran through his mind but it all came back to Wanda.

They got closer and soon he could see who the being was clearly. "Wanda?", Strange called out to her as he carefully stepped ahead of his cohorts hoping she could see that it was indeed a person she knew-a friend more than a foe.

She heard the voice, turning slightly towards it she at first saw a man in a black coat, his hood covering his face in shadows. She reared back as if to throw a two seam fastball in the form of a fistful of magic. But then she saw someone she never expected. "Doctor ?" She always called him Doctor. Never by his first name.

It all hit her again. Then she remembered she had felt. "Vision is gone. I felt it too. Thanos...."

"You know her, this is good news. Lady Xeir will be greatful that hostilities never occured." Said the hooded man that first spoke with Stepen.

Finally, Wanda managed to focus just enough. "Where are we ? Why am I not dead ? I blew up the Mind Stone, Vision insisted I do so, Why am I not dead ?"

"I wonder if it's because of your connection to the mind stone that kept you safe from Thanos' snap...but that doesn't matter as much as the fact that you are alive.", Stephen said as he walked over to Wanda. "Don't worry...you are safe here. Come let's get you to someplace warm...or warmer than this.", he said before walking with her away from the part of the woods.


He then looked at the hooded man. "You coming along?",he asked.

The hooded man smirked under his hood and replied to Stephen. His voice calm "My Good Doctor, Prince Nara would explain it better, but Queen Kanwar has him on a mission at this time. Namely, this realm, you would call it a universe of its own making, lives without issues. However, The All-Mother had felt the raw power used by the Stones when you call the titan, Thanos, used them. It is because of the All-Mother that this realm was not affected."

"I dont get it, Vision is gone, he insisted I destroy the mind stone so I did. The thing exploded and I blacked out, next thing i know I wake up here. How could Thanos still do it without the Mind Stone ?" Wanda asked as Stephen helped her to her feet.

The hooded man to speak simply stood there. "I personally have needs to attend to, however, my associate here shall go with you to ensure the civilty of the crystals and trees here. I shall also inform the All-Mother to expect guests" With that a swirl of dark purple and white vinery danced around his feet and formed something akin to an egg of swirling purple and black Darkness before fading away, the hooded man with it.

And yet the other hooded man ,the one who had been silent the entire time, becomed the two to follow him as he stepped their way and just past them both. "Come" He said, his voice deeper than the other hooded mans own voice was. "follow me. do not stray from the path."

Stephen nodded and walked behind the other hooded man, keeping Wanda steady as best as he could in all the snow. When she asked how it was possible that Thanos did what he had done without the mind stone. He softly sighed and looked down at the Eye of Agamotto that was around his neck. "Because to spare Tony's life, I gave Thanos the time stone-so it's sadly very possible that he must've used it to reverse time itself to before Vision passed and.....take it from him that way.", he said suddenly hating the trade he did though at that moment he saw it as the right course of action to follow if it meant that one shot at victory comes to fruition.

"I'm so...sorry for your loss, Wanda.",he said sincerely-feeling so awful for what had occurred following his trade with Thanos. If hee had only known what that psychopathic zealot was going to do then it may not have happened.

Taxi waited where Nara told her to wait, as she observed the strange man wandering the street for a moment before stepping from a storefront as Zax stepped into view with two others, Taxi hadnt been told a man and woman were to be escorted somewhere ? Something felt off as the dark coated woman with cyan eyes stepped into view did Zex halt. Taxi looked from Wanda to Stephen to Zex, the hooded man briefly said nothing but the woman, who wore a identical coat and her long purple hair in spikes rested upon her shoulders could feel the smirk on the hooded Force Dragons lips. "Before you say anything, Zex, keep your trap shut about what I look like"

"Wasnt gonna say anything other then you got something right here" Zex replied, the hooded man reaching to his own left side of his nose. RTaxi brushed away some dirt once she was told. "We have guests"

"So I see" Taxi replied

"I was requested by Prince Nara to escort both to Princess Xeir. Have you seen her ?" Zex told the other Force Dragon.

"I have not, All I saw was Grandmother Light kicking me through a window to wake up this morning" Taxi replied. That earned a snicker from Zex before the other coated man went flying and slammed against a wall leaving an impression. He never learned to not piss off Taxi.

"I take it you and I will take these two to the library then ?" Zex said

"If you dont come with I'll pitch you against the Crystal Terrace." Taxi replied. Prince Nara had requested her to watch for Zex and some guests,

"Your point is well seen." Zex said fgetting to his feet before turning to Stephen and Wanda, the latter just looking on entirely confused and a bit past freaked out. Wanda had just witnessed a woman who was smaller than herself, at least weight wise, easily take down and throw another man against a stone wall with enough force to leave an impresison "Madam, Dr, may I introduce my sister in arms, Taxi" Zex said, "She will join us to the Library"

"A Pleasure tio meet you both. Prince Nara informed me of you, Doctor Strange, but not of your guest. Might I ask her name ?" Taxi replied. For being so easily able to launch Zex against a stone wall Taxi was actually rather well mannered too

Florida Man looked over to Taxi, who apparently was the first one who spoke.

Ahem. Excuse me...

he inquired, wondering why he'd been so blatantly ignored. Maybe it was his attire, or perhaps his appearance? Nevertheless, he persisted.

Where am I?

he inquired again, hoping for a response this time.

Zex said nothing as the unknown clearly male human was suddenly at Taxis elbow out of nowhere. Taxi turned her cyan gaze to him briefly confused, wasnt she just observing him from across the way ? How in the world had he gotten so close so quickly ?

It didnt matter at that moment because the Man had asked a question. Who was she ? the Information Clerk ? Apparently so but she wasnt upset, confused sure but not upset. "My mistake, get so focused on one task and I forget other tasks." She said in apology to Florida Man.

"You are in the city of Vien, of the continent of Vintu." She told the Man simply. She pointed down the ways towards the Arena. "If you're looking for sporting events, the Arena is that way, Though if you're looking for information, the Spaceport is that way." She pointed first towards the Quan Arena, and then towards the Vien Spaceport. Though she kept to herself mention of the airdocks, not even she knew how to get to there.

Florida Man nodded, reaching into his pocket to look for the substances he'd stashed there... some time ago. He dug around a bit, finding the lump of crystalline white powder mixed among the lint and gravel. Offering it up with outstretched hand, he attempted to thank the stranger.

he said, pausing for a moment before continuing.

I've never heard of Vintu. Is that in the panhandle?

came his next inquiry, looking onward towards where the woman was pointing.
