a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Leocedus

Description

Whisp
Image

Age
25

Gender
Male

Species
Human, Force Sensitive

Sexuality
Heterosexual

Appearance
With his messy silver hair and mismatched eyes, Whisp is easy to identify. He usually wears dark loose fitting clothing including but not limited to leather, silk, or synthetic long sleeve shirts and jackets, hoodies, sweat pants, jeans, cargo pants and even the occasional trip pants for fun. Only highly flexible and breathable shoes go on his feet, easy to run in and durable for combat if need be. A gentle face lies behind his silver bangs, but a warrior he is and he has the muscle to prove it.

Height: 5'11"

Weight: 150 lbs

Eye Color: Silver Left Eye, Pink Right Eye

Hair Color: Silver

Face Claim: Ranmaru Kurosaki
Image

Abilities

The Force: As a Force Adept, Whisp was once trained to use the mysterious energy known as the Force. While not particularly strong in the Force more than most others, his skills lie in his complexity and precision whilst using it. Instead of fully stopping a blaster rifle by ripping it from someones hands, he is more likely inclined to turn it off or dismantle it from the inside. Being a Grey user of the Force he can bend to both the Light and Dark sides of this energy to do whatever he sees fit. Whisp has described his use of the Force to others as 'Stepping from one stone to another, or plucking across multiple strings to make music." as opposed to brute strength or pinpoint focus.

Lightsaber: Whisp was not only trained in the Force, but also the use of a Light Saber. For the most part he uses a reverse grip style, but when push comes to shove he will wield two sabers, one reversed and one normal grip, or even three including a blue hand-and-a-half saber for dueling. His mastery of combat is not the most astounding, but when combined with his accuracy of Force he can compete with most Jedi Knights or Sith Assassins when the time calls for it. His skill lies within his speed and orientation of style. Whisp can easily deflect his own lightsaber blades using accurate blasts and fields of the Force to make his attacks fast and jagged mid swing, allowing for repeated strikes even within the same motion to overwhelm and confuse a target with speed and tragectory.

Precognition: Like all Force Sensitives, Whisp can gain a grasp of near future events and threats through his connection to the Force. His reflexes are one of his strongest assets, and has given him opportunities that many fail to grasp. His accuracy with the Force allows for short range yet deadly accute precognition and high speed reflexes beyond even the fastest Sith duelists and Jedi Guardians of old.

Image

Personality

Curious, Introverted, Shy, Quiet, Determined
As a person, Whisp is a loner for the most part. Despite his training in the Force, he feels alone in the vastness of the galaxy. He has tried to find peace within the working world of many organizations but has never found where he belongs. So far, it seems like only more and more empty promises. He still has a stubbornness to him about life, wanting to keep searching for more, and face any challenge in front of him. But truly, what he wants is somewhere he can stay and get to know other people again. He is even willing to go to some dark places in order to find it. If the opportunity arises when he can gain what he wants at the cost of others, he will spare no one the pain of his fear from being alone.

Philosophy
Whisp has a unique look on the Force and a person's place within it. Jedi view the Force as a guide, while the Sith see it as a tool. Most Grey's fall somewhere inbetween. Whisp however takes the Force at face value, seeing it as the natural state of things. He believes that everyone should learn to use the Force to some extent, but under a set of rules. He has not come to full terms with what those rules should be, but considers them to be a close mix between both philosophies. Instead of emphasizing power or control of one self, Whisp want's to emphasize connection and balance with what already exists to achieve both peace and power.

Image

History
Whisp was a young lad out in the Mid Rim during his early years, training in a more traditional lifestyle of natural beauty and spiritual symbolism. The Force was mentioned many times but never ingrained into the culture of his people. He could never remember what his birth planet was called, nor does he care now. Eventually Sith arrived on world to 'negotiate' their place in the future of the galaxy politics. Payment was made, in the form of many young force sensatives, including Whisp. They were taken at the ages of 5 or older, with Whisp being nearly 10 at the time. Trained day and night to use their fear, their anger, and emotions to fuel the Force that flowed through them. Whisp found it hard to accept the Sith way of thinking.

He never agreed with unnecessary violence or bloodshed, and found their methods abhorrent. And yet, what they said about the Jedi was not wrong. The Jedi had flaws with stagnation and closed systems of belief. He never dared go to the Jedi as an alternative, but the Sith were far too much for him to handle. Only four years into his training, Whisp snapped and took several students with him to escape from the trainers. All but Whisp and one other student were killed in the attempt. When the master caught up to the two captured students, he made them fight for who would have the chance of mercy and return to the school. Whisp won, killing the Master by surprise along with his opponant at the same time and using the distraction to get away from the rest of the Sith who immediately began to fight over the power vacuum.

Once off world via hitchhiking a ride on some Sith diplomate vessal, Whisp began travelling from world to world in search of a meaning and purpose to his life. He eventually came across a holocron for sale said to be Jedi secrets, and foolishly bought it. Many said it was fake, but after meddling with it using the Force he found it had belonged to a Jedi master of old named Eren Kai. She had her own way of thinking, and inspired Whisp to find his own path of the Force. Searching out more holocrons of the Jedi and Sith, Whisp learned everything he could and filtered the information through a new lense of thought, eventually constructing new lightsabers for himself and expanding his own ways of using the Force.

Radio broadcasts and laser comm relays sparked around the planetoid. Most would bounce off the apparent field of protection around the large vessel. However the signals that had a recognisable language were taken in by the field to the vessel itself, and translated.

The highest point of the Data World was a small 30 meter wide Darksteel inlaid plasmicglass disk that housed the Command Deck behind 10 meters of transparent shielding. The soul inhabitant of Arkvaes calls this place the Flash Room because of all the flashing colours and lights. A single dark haired man sat on the central rotating command chair, his chin in his palm as he stared straight ahead at the ships amassing before him.

This man was well over 6 feet in height, had dark medium length hair in a messy style, and looked paler than bone. He wore simple dark clothing but no shoes, and had dark rings under his eyes. In one hand was a half empty coffee cop that the man sipped from every so often. He had a holographic screen in front of him showing him the scatter of radio signals and playing them for him to hear.

The man, known as Kyrian Vox, looks down at an odd style of watch on one wrist and taps his toe against the floor, waiting for enough time to pass. He seemed impatient as he waited for the fields to be set up by the fleet, letting them think the vessel "contained" before he starts phase two of the experiment.

Deiyi's voice echoed in Mor's mind. "You have received all that I can give...... for now..... one day there may be more.... but until then...."An expolsion of the Force's power within Mor went insane in a mini Force Storm, most likely causing anyone with that much power to faint from overdraw or sheer tiredness.

Deiyi had disappeared from Mor's ship, and it was only a matter of time before he could find her again, But, Deiyi was the Force incarnate, born as a human, and subject to the human condition until death. Able to become one with the Force like she had against Darth Mor was one thing. But it was also enough to keep the Sith on their toes

But what she had said was true, Mor had mastered the Dark Side, but it wasnt enough. It never was.

The question now was

How was Mor going to work with the information he now had ?

As Byron ran through the super star destroyer that belonged to Vinh, the kalxon blasted its alarm as voices screamed nd orders were launched of the sudden arrival of a vessel of some kind. Byron for the moment was completely ignored until he got thoe hangar bay, the area he had to get to was sealed off.

A single ship sat docked within freshedly fueled and ready to go. "Get in, hurry! I can hold her for only so long, the Unseen One is on your trail" Deiyi said, her voice heard only by him. Within the ship as it powered up, Deiyi sat at the controls, the streamlined J7 Phantom rumbled to life as Byron made it aboard.

Sith on the run were never safe, yet Deiyi hoped that her Dreams of an Empire were enoutgh to give Mor, and Byron a fighting chance against a much greater threat.

Byron only nodded to the voice and kept his cool as he made his way into the J7 Phantom. Forcing his way to the pilots seat and activating the navigational controls before the manual overrides could be disengaged.

"Deiyi hurry up!" Byron shouted as he flipped several switches and activated the ships access codes for the gravity fields to disengage. He would wait til he needed to leave as there was little else he could do till then.

Meanwhile, back at the space planetoid thingy, the legion placed up its barriers and blocked all forms of communication on al frequencies that could be picked up on all known channels. Victor simply smiled as the silver masked woman simply returned to her coterie only to command the others for focus their wills upon her. From there the silver masked woman began to connect on a deeper level with each of the other ships force groups only to then act as a single force as they probed the thing more closely.

They would look for any signs of life within or around the illusionary planetoid whilst trying to decipher the mystery behind its sudden appearance within Sith space.

As soon as Byron sat down the ship lifted off the hanghar deck. But instead of simply leaving the hangar it just up and jumped directly to lightspeed in an explosion of light and sound, leaving briefly a gaping hole in reality as the J7 Phantom, a Imperial Intelligence vessel, fled the system.

As soon as the vessel was in Hyperspace did Deiyi stepped into view. her ghostly form solidifying to her normal self before Byron. "That was too close, but I hope it worked. there's a greater threat then the two of us to Mor's empire, and there's a greater threat to us then Mors empire as well. The enemy of my enemy is my friend syes, but. Dont be surprised if Mor wants an alliance"

The ship disappeared to places unknown.

++++

Skidding to a halt as the energy shield flaired to life the Sith Assassin growled seeing the ship take off to lightspeed without even leaving the hangar as a whole. Well Jedi Poodoo! Slamming her fist against a bulkhead she left a dent that shortly repaired itself as she stalked off to her own chambers to await further orders

In the meantime at the Bridge, Vinh was told of another ship in the area. "Head us towards it. Take no chances. My prize just got away and I want it back!"

"Unknown vessel is in sight." came a voice. the massive Super Star Destroyer spotted a much smaller starship sitting in space and moved towards it as the Eternal Fleet hovered in space, its attention split easily between the strange planetoid out of nowhere, and the rest of the system.

When the Data World would be probed by those using a mass mental concentration they might be shocked to find that the entire planetoid acted as a single living entity complete with a consciousness of its own so massive and complex that no mere mortal brain could decipher it. The only apparent thing about this strange form of life was that it got stronger the deeper into the world it went. Many smaller life forms could be felt, each one unique in its own right but most if them in a state of stasis. Only one would be active, and that one was shielded from mental or psychic intrusion and seemed the most powerful consciousness second only to the world itself.

As the fields were put in place the Keeper of the Data World put his plan into action. A small opening appeared in the side of this world, and a single small object was ejected out into space before the surface of Arkvaes became smooth once more. The object was a cryo pod, made in a smooth artistic design and was comprised of a white metallic substance. The style of construction matched that of the Data World and seemed to be of similar technology.

Through a small window on the top of the pod came a blue glow and inside could easily be seen a blue tinted humanoid with a handsome pale face and messy silver hair. Immediately after this cryo pod was ejected, the Data World began to vibrate at higher and higher frequencies. When it hit the frequency of Light a similar flash erupted from its surface and as fast as the Data World had come, it had gone, fading into the 4th dimension and leaving the strange Cryo Pod behind.

As each ships coterie of force adepts investigated the Data World they provided whatever information they could gather. Victor frowned as he sent several messages across the board only to await further instructions from his Emperor.

"Are we seeing this?" Victor muttered over his communications terminal only to lean in as one of his men pointed out the strange hole that formed and the jettisoned pod which escaped the planet like some kind of distressed chunk of debris. Victor could only imagine what the strange pod held but only smirked once there was a visual display followed by the impossibly vanishing act of the planetoid.

====

As for Mor, the sith only knew anger. The Sith Emperor remained seated only to look around at the destroyed room that he had battled in. His eyes wandered over to the lifeless body of one of his servants who had been within the radius of the force blast. He would need to find a replacement but suddenly found the lack of need as he was updated on the other events.

"Capture that pod." Mor commanded as he coughed slightled and turned away from his terminal only to make his way to the bridge of his personal vessel. There was much to do and little time to do it......after all the hunt for his archivist and the Jedi who won him over needed to be brought to justice.

The order came through, which then prompted Vinh to smirk, with a nod to the Force Adepts nearby the pod was quickly collected aboard her massive ship, the forward hangar held it. It was strange in make yet the feeling of the Force within it was strong. the Sith Assassin arrived, clearly unhappy. It was her ship Byron had stolen. But seeing the pod made the Assassin halt in her tracks and hold her Lightsaber Pike tightly in one hand, this didnt look right.

Vinh stalked around the pod inspecting it carefully, "Ready a shuttle, I will take this personally to Emperor Mor." At her command the soldiers and crew got to work and prepared a shuttle as the massive super star destroyer headed for Mor's ship, transfering over easily by shuttle.

Once aboard Mor's vessel and waiting for him in the main throneroom Vinh waited, meditating upon the Sith Code carefully as she stared out at the stars, and her massive and ever growing Eternal Fleet. It'd serve the Eternal Throne. The same throne that Mor controlled and sat upon.

When Mor arrived Vinh turned towards him and dropped to one knee and bowed her head, one hand to the floor as her Mangaguard Bladesdroid stood next to her. The unmarked silver pod floated a half meter off the ground. "As requested my Lord, I cannot figure out how to open or deactivate the pod to examine the contents within. After failing to open the pod I brought it to you." She said never looking up.

As the pod was moved and handled certain things became apparent about it and its occupant. The first and foremost was a sense of a Force Adept within the silver haired male contained inside. Secondly is the fact that besides the veiwing window apparently made of alchemically fixed and unbreakable glass like material, the pod was seemless despite its curved design and had no terminal of any kind on the exterior. The Occupant while unconscious was not in Cryo Sleep, and seemed to be held in his position above the pods bottom by whatever blue light illuminating him

No sounds came from the pod, but it did happen to have an already active hover technology on the underside for easy transport and could be pulled or pushed along with ease. If the Sith were thorough in their inspection they might notice a gravitation to the pod as it absorbed the surrounding metaphysical energy including Force energy on minute levels.

When Mor approaches however, it would only be a short time after that the pod absorbs the energy it needed and the sound of air pressurizing signals a seem appearing along the middle of the pod, and the top swings up slowly to reveal a pink and silver set of eyes from within.

Whisp

Memory flooded an old mind, stirring synapses and knudging consciousness. After who knows how long, the first breath comes to Whisp of fresh air and his eyes shoot open. He still can't see yet as everything is a blur, but he knows this isn't a place he feels safe in. Already the Dark Side was strong and prevelant around him, pulling at his consciousness from all sides. It is one of those pulls he follows, groggily reaching into the unknown and gripping the edge of his pod with pale fingers and slowly pulled himself out.

Rolling hard onto the ground, his body still uncoordinated, Whisp stays on all fours and rests his forehead on the ground feeling sick to his stomach and already blinded by whatever lights were nearby. It took him a moment, but his eyes finally started to adjust and his stomach settled. He looked at himself a moment, seeing black and grey clothing of simple design and felt glad he wasn't naked at least.

His silver hair looked like a wave of motion as it followed the turn of his head, seeing shapes of humanoids to his left and waited for his pink and silver eyes to adjust enough for some detail.

As the assassin brought the pod into the throne room countless silver masked individuals stood silently against the walls. The Force adepts simply remained at the ready as they stood motionless with hands behind their backs and sabers sitting at their sides in all manner of forms.

When the young assassin spoke Mor could only look upon her with both disdain and utter contempt. "And did I give the order for you to try and open it?" Mor asked with a bit of an edge to his voice. He could hardly blame her for trying to appease him but now was neither the time or the place.

'We've lost our edge today. Not ever again shall it happen do you understand me!" His voice caused even the silver masked acolytes to cringe as the force ebbed with his every word. "Do not deviate from my word again....."

Mor found himself suddenly amused as the contents of the escape pod seemed to come to life and fall upon the floor. The young man was something indeed and when Mor gently reached out with the force to this fellow he simply found what he had expected.

"Something different." Mor muttered quietly as he took several steps towards the young man only to stand tall and mighty for nearly a second just to then simply offer a hand down towards the young fellow to help him rise up.

Whisp

As Whisp's vision became clearer the pounding in his head got stronger. He couldn't see the reason why until a dark shiver went up his spine when a man approached him. Whisp looked up at Mor with a look of disdain upon his face. The Dark Side was leaking off this figure like a thick cloud, each breath Whisp took filled with it and making his head ache worse.

The hand offered to him was ignored, and Whisp shakily stood on his own. He had to take a few steps away from Mor, and ended up sitting on the now closed cryo pod. He instinctually had his pink eye covered with his right palm, as if hiding it from the dark power in the room. With the cryo pod, his own lack of memory and the Sith surrounding him he could put a few things together in his mind.

In order to speak Whisp had to clear his throat, several times infact, before almost whispering out his words. "What do you want from me?"

"No" Vinh replied simply, "Upon receiving the pod within the hangar of my ship did anyone handle it, it may have been accessed, to be sure I attempted to retrive any data I could, but nothing came of it Master." Vinh never raised her head as she was still on one knee to Mor.

Vinh stood however as Mor wasnt angery with her directly, he seemed angered of something else, that was when she realised Mor felt... stronger, but that strength was slowly ebbing away, like a sieve of a sort. her fire red gase locked on Whisp. Her eyes took in every part of his body, finding nothing of wanting from the man for her own desires other then a punching bag if given the chance. All Sith worked that way.

But there was a pressing matter concerning the Dark Council and its members. And also a Rakul outbreak on a planet as well as one of the bladedroids handed Vinh a report. "My Lord; there's been a Rakgul outbreak on a planet known as Terra I think it is good for us to take advantage of this event. We can use the Rackghoul as a army of our own." She said, Rackgoul plauge only affected humans; other aliens were unaffected, including Chiss apparently.

Another report was handed to her "There is also reports of Sith activity within the region as well as Jedi activity as well regardless of the Rakgul outbreak" Vinh finished the report calmly and waited for her Emperors reaction. the rackgoul were originally Sith alchemy on Taris so many eons ago.

Mor watched the young man only to listen to the reports his assassin had to offer. He had many things in mind for this young man but none that seemed more important than the all consuming task of finding his property and reclaiming what was rightfully his.

"Deal with the outbreak and track down those outside of my reach." The Sith Emperor commanded. His tone filled with the rightful authority he held and the strength to back his claim. "Go now and find these Jedi and Sith and break their will and force them to bend the knee."

The Sith Lord simply turned away from it all and kept his back towards the young man with the different colored eyes. Regardless of if he kept the young man in his sights or not Whisp would feel as if eyes always seemed to sit upon him.

"Now as for you." Mor muttered, "I've use for you and I will not take a negative answer."

More and more details came into Whisp's awareness the more his head cleared. He could feel the coldness around him, the dark walls and faces in the room. Mor especially added into this sensation. He hated this place already, and wanted to leave. His arms were wrapped around himself as he felt cold, and weak still.

He heard the Sith reports about rakguls and other force users but he hardly paid attention. Internally he was concentrating on the force around him, and within himself. With his eyes closed he steadied his breathing and pulsed his own Force energy. The connection within him burned aittle brighter and some warmth came into his flesh.

His own presence could now be felt in the room, a grey shifting energy just trying to hold its own against the strong aura of the Dark Side.

Only after Mor adressed him did Whisp look up at the Sith Lord, hearing his command. At this point Whisp was confused and alone, so the smartest thing to do now would be to submit for the time being.

"Sure, whatever. But I won't be of much help as I am." Whisp to the observer was a shivering exhausted mess, who could hardly stand. He would need rest, probably training to get back into shape, and equipment to help him do whatever it was that the dark lord wanted. It had also just occurred to him that no introductions had taken place.

"Call me Whisp..." His voice got quieter and fainter as he mentioned his name, shy to mention it to a complete stranger let alone a being like this.

The energy of the spaceport was strong, active, possibly too asctive for even the clone to take, soldiers were everywhere gearing up for war. never the less setting foot on firm ground was the task at hand for the Clone and it was time for some much needed R&R the only problem was seeing all the MK XXII and Mrk XXIII clones millng about that made the clone nervous.

Yet none of them seemed to care that he was there. which was weird, as he moved through the packed spaceport he found himself walking along a cleared path towards a place, looking more like a medical facility over anything else. then again he was also hungry so he could take a medical coffee over a real coffee regardless.

Food was food

he stepped into the building off the main lanes and found himself in a massive multistory building, the spaceport on this place was emense if not bigger than he'd thought.

He saw another man admiring the view. Equally confused and in awe, the building was one of many and it was filled to beyond full of soldiers and common folk. the staging areas for the soldiers were also filled with both Clones that Ixas recognised many of his own compatriots, and also droids, countless droids undergoing last minute checkdowns for gear and quality. All of them in sqwuads or full on platoons

What was going on ?

There was only one word for the sight in front of Whisp, and that word was "Armed". A lot of military personnel was getting ready for what seemed like war. The young Grey was observing the call to action, he himself called on as a mercenary to join a special special squad for the upcoming conflict. He was in stardard attire, dark grey and black robes cut in a lighter fit style with leather strapped gear and extra mobility, with his two lightsabers strapped tight against his right hip and his lower back, their colors green and red respectively.

His silver hair was constantly being blown around by the air currents of those ships taking off or landing. He was told to meet up with someone here but so far no one had showed up. But turning to look towards the entrance he notices one soldier out of place.

Approaching him he guesses this is the man. "I hope you are the guy I am supposed to meet with. This next mission seems difficult and I don't want to wait any longer."

Whisp motions over to a waiting dropship with a military pilot. "I got a pilot waiting. Talk now or talk on the way, but make it fast."

"You can relax" Ixas replied concerning the speed for the mission at hand, "From the look of things, you're starved, I'm starved, and we're waiting on further mebers tothis party. I'm not the only one geared for war, and these clones and droids are ready to go at something"

He went stiff however as he spotted a woman dressed in white similar armor to the clones gearing up. The white hair of the woman was unmistakable, with the woman stood another with dark hair but the same armor design was clear, only in this case the dark haired woman had gold etched into her armor design.

When the two women neared them however the white haired one spoke "Ahh, the Defector returns to battle I see"

"Empress" Ixas grunted in response, Mirana then paid him no heed as the dark haired woman drilled her brown eyes at him

Mirana, known now to be the Empress of an Empire of some form turned to Whisp. "I see you have both arrived, my daughter is to go on this mission with you, but it seems we still await one more member for this venture do we not ?"

"You might say that, a Jedi, a Princess, A Clone Soldier, what next in this merry bunch ?" Ixas grumbled

"A Sith Lord" Came the calm soft reply from the second woman, Snowdove simply npodded when her mother mentioned her but now she spoke "A Darth actually. Though it is quite possible a Jedi or two may join us" She said as her mother smiled, Snowdove wqas a capable fighter, possibly more so then a common clone, she stared at Ixas, oh he remembered her clearly.

Well this was getting better and better

Whisp was about to respond to Ixas, his finger already raised and his mouth half open, when a new voice came into the conversation. Turning towards the voice he is instantly sobered, shrinking back in shyness towards royalty. He only nods in responce to the Empress, his cheeks flushing a light pink when he heard the princess would be joining them.

For most of the talking he stayed quiet, except when I as called him a Jedi. He glared death a moment at Ixas before his emotions cooled, and he corrected the soldier."I am NOT a Jedi. Not anymore..." After this single interjection he remained silent once more.

The notice of a Darth possibly joining them sent a shiver down Whisp's spine, but he held it together. A job was a job, and he needed the work. So far their 'team' was rather capable, a soldier for the heavy fighting, himself for stealth operations and support, and of course the princess for... whatever she was good at. It almost seemed like some strange video game or story book.

Either way, Whisp was ready to go and had already been bored hours ago.

"Fine, Force Adept works just as good for a title" Came the reply, from the Princess nodoubt. Armed with what looked like a ancient vibrosword or something newer, the woman was dressed in white and gold armor akin to the countless clones gearing up for war. Snowdove was ready. She had some magical ability, but Force was most called it she possessed none of; yet she possed magicial strength, which surely was needed.

Snowdove looked from Ixas to Whisp while saying "I know you Defector, just like Mother does, dont think we didnt know you left us" Ixas smirked, he'd taken to defecting a long time ago, she focused her attention on Whisp. "What is your name ?" Since she herself was a very able princess, she'd bested pretty much everyone she fought in combat, be it arena training or otherwise. Ixas kept his mouth shut as he watch the Empress leave.

They were also to meet up apparently with two Darths ? A messenger droid stepped up and handed him their orders. Scout the area, report anything weird, help those that needed it and....... well that ezs to be expected. Nueteralise any threats as they became apparent. Well, nuetralise remained to be seen on HOW to do just that. But according to the cyrstal, their Darth friends were to be joining them during the mission, not before it

The young Grey kept his attention on the Empress mostly, the most important person in the group by far. Yet it seemed her daughter wanted his attention. He turns to look at her and caught what she said. Normally it wouldn't be a problem, but with royalty his shyness kicks in quickly. The bangs of his hair falls to cover his eyes as he considers what best to say. "Whisp, ma'am."

His voice stays low and vacant, not wanting to draw much attention. At this point he plays music in his head to distract his anxious mind from its own thoughts, using classical orchestra and beautiful choirs in his imagination to keep his focus forwards instead of spiralling into a shy mess.

A quick gulp and steady breath helps him shake out of it and get back to the task at hand."So, do we get a mission briefing yet?" He directs the question to Ixas who had just received their directives. He was used to getting orders up front but this mission seemed to be a rushed one.
