Description

ImageName: Willow
Gender: Female
Age: 23

Species: Dryad

Appearance: Willow is of relatively average appearance, leaning towards the side of attractive rather than homely. Her features are somewhat gaunt, but not excessively so, though her figure is thin to the point of leanness. Her eyes are a forest green, unsurprisingly, and her hair is a chestnut brown, styled very intricately in half bun, half free falling, with a long fringe covering one of her eyes. Her skin is pale and freckled, her lips full, and her cheekbones pronounced, giving her a very wide and bright smile.

Specialty: As most dryads are, Willow is excellent at gathering intelligence. CSI is a walk in the park for her, quite literally, she need merely discuss the details with a nearby tree or flower and the team can be on their way without any need for that forensics nonsense. Of course, vegetation has limited intelligence, and can only really describe the events, not do any real thinking about them.

Gear List:
-Badge.
-Rune-inscribed handgun plus ammunition.
-Rune jars.
-Rock salt.
-Poppet.
-Pocket bible, chosen because it was the smallest and easiest to stow away in a corner of her locker without taking up too much space for other things.
-Scroll cases
-Tree sapling

Personality: Bright, cheerful, annoyingly optimistic and entirely persistent in all of the above. Willow is almost never not happy/excited/gleeful/giggling about something, much to the irritation of fellow agents. Redeeming her, however, is her dedication to her work, able to focus on tasks at hand despite her cheerful and hyperactive nature. Willow has a natural dislike of pessimists and complainers, and will either go out of her way to annoy them, or swing them around to her way of thinking.

History: The child of a Willow tree, hence her name, Willow was a harmless and friendly specimen of a dryad, never posing a threat to anyone unless they threatened her tree. As such, when she was located by KOSA, she was placed immediately on a list of potential recruits rather than potential problems, and soon after she was brought in for training and ultimately induction.

Willow prefers a none combat role, and as such acts as a forensics and crime scene investigator, preferring to leave the combat and active recovery of supernatural foes to other agents. Willow is, aside from the above roles, the manager of KOSA's botanical supplies and production - keeping a tab on the herbs and other flora that could be useful to the agency, whilst supervising their growth.

So begins...

Willow walked into the bar, carrying a plant pot. Really, it sounded like a joke, but no, she was actually carrying a plant pot with a small willow sapling in it. It gave her a somewhat eccentric look, but she didn't mind. It suited her.

Singing quietly to herself, with words no more coherent than "La la la la la", the dryad practically skipped over to the bar. "Bartender! Could you get me a glass of water, please?"

Willow tutted under her breath and reached over the bar, taking a glass and filling it with water from a nearby tap. The water was free anyway, she couldn't be bothered to wait for service.

Willow frowned and peered at the popcorn, then at Martin's paws "Alright, thanks, I guess?" she said, taking the bag but hesitating to eat it if the animal's dirty little paws had been rummaging around in there.

Willow trotted into the bar, in that springy manner that only the truly happy can master without fear of looking like a pogo stick. Around her shoulder hung a bag, of moderate size, containing several apparent objects, including a large number of odd looking glass jars, a bundle of paper, and a plant - complete with soil, and pot.

Now, this might seem odd, but it was in fact rather practical. See, Willow was a dryad, and thus could not go more than twenty feet from her tree. So it made perfect sense to carry the thing with her, did it not?

Uncaring of any odd looks she might be receiving, Willow sat down at the bar counter and ordered a glass of water, that she promptly poured on the plant.

Willow strolled into the bar happily, flicking her hair casually as she walked. The woman was wearing casual clothing, but she moved with the manner of someone who was used to drilling, perhaps it was the way her eyes scanned the room automatically, or how she seemed more alert than most in the room. Or perhaps it was something else that drew attention to her.

There was a rather more noticeable oddity about this woman, and it was located in the large brown handbag she carried at her side. The handbag itself was rather simple, if larger than most, but it was not the bag itself that would deserve comment. No, rather it was the Willow tree sapling, complete with plant pot, that stuck out of the top.

The woman's eyes focused immediately on what appeared to be a vampire attack in the middle of the bar, or at least some form of supernatural assault. Grabbing the KOSA badge from her side, she hastened forwards.

"Freeze! KOSA! Cease all violent activities at once!"

Willow swiftly reached into her bag and pulled out a rune inscribed handgun, complete with silver bullets. The KOSA agent levelled the weapon at the group, alternating between pointing it at each combatant, somewhat awkwardly due to having to hold her bag at the same time. "Stop it! I said freeze!" the dryad protested, letting out a growl of frustration.

"This is your last warning, or I will resort to force!"

What a lone dryad could do to halt such a large fight, between apparently greatly skilled combatants, remained to be seen. Willow was only doing her job, but damn if she wasn't wishing she was off duty right now.

Willow was practically barged out of the way by Dallas and Taima, cursing profusely. "You two! Get back here!" she yelled, wishing to hell that she had her bloody scrolls with her, she was sure she had some form of paralysing runes in there somewhere. Dropping the escaping couple as a lost cause, the agent (who was in fact more used to arranging KOSA's flowers and herbs than combating supers in the field) trained her weapon back on Sophia and Lazarus.

"Happy now? They're leaving, now quiet down, stop trying to kill people, and maybe we can have a civil discussion about this whole affair."

Willow reacted swiftly, her training at KOSA paying off, despite her having little practice at using it in the field. Her reactions were perhaps slower than those of an active field agent, but they were quick enough. The dryad's finger compressed the pistol's trigger four times in quick succession, firing four silver bullets toward the oncoming Lazarus' torso.

While not all vampires were weakened by silver, these bullets were, in addition, blessed by a priest, and carved with runes that were anathema to most supernatural creatures. Nobody could ever say that KOSA were unprepared for battling with the fantastical.

Willow sidestepped the punch swiftly, the rage of the vampire seeming to drive it to imprecise and clumsy assaults. Willow was fine with this, it meant she was less likely to get smacked.

Raising her gun again, the dryad fired off another three shots, this time aiming for the creature's head, using the close range to compensate for the smaller target. Unnoticed by the woman, the potted willow sapling in her handbag was rocking precariously with the speed of her movements.

Willow brought the butt of her pistol down to smack at Lazarus' face as he lunged at her, hoping to deter his tackle. Were this not to be the case, the woman would be knocked to the ground, her potted willow falling from her bag with a shower of soil, though the dirt was packed tightly enough that the loss was not devastating.

Letting out a cry of fury, the dryad would kick out at the man's chest viciously, powerful leg muscles working to shove the man back, and fire another shot off at him, somewhat inaccurate.

Willow jerked backwards, taking her leg far enough back that the shard would only nick at her flesh, and fired off another two bullets directly down into the vampire's skull. "Die, dammit, die!" she yelled, swinging her leg around to kick the man in the face solidly with the sole of her boot.

Willow did indeed attempt to step backwards, but impacting with the shield instead stumbled forwards, practically tripping over the man as he lunged for her. Depending on the man's actions now, she would end her fall in one of several ways...

Willow had, however, already stumbled far enough forwards that her balance had tipped forwards over her feet, and the dryad fell down directly onto the man's back. This would likely not impede Lazarus' biting, however, though the vampire would encounter more resistance than he had thought - Willow's skin was barklike, tougher than regular skin, though the fangs would likely still be able to pierce through. The trickle of blood that oozed out before the dryad snatched her legs away, rolling to the side, would be a dim green.

"Fuck, ow!" Willow yelled, scrambling to her feet again.

Willow screamed piercingly as the fire moved toward her, and dived out of the way rather more than was strictly necessary to avoid it. Consequently, the woman avoided the subsequent tackle, and made to move forwards and stamp downwards on his neck somewhat viciously, attempting to pin him.

Whether or not this succeeded, the dryad would also discharge the remaining five bullets in her clip, two into the back of the man's skull, and three into his chest, aiming for where his heart was.
